    Got this lease deal today in CA. Ioniq 6 SE 360 mile range. The following is the deal breakdown:
    $1800 down + 24 payments of $258 including tax.
    $1800 down payment is basically $500 less than the taxes, registration, acquisition cost, doc fees, and all junk fees, which is about $2300.
    Drive off including first payment was $2058.
    MSRP is 44K.
    So, the $239 down and 239 per month checks out:
    239 down plus all taxes and fees excluding acquisition cost is about $1800.
    Total cost over 24 months: $1800 + $258 x 24 = $7992 (about $333 per month)
    Love the car, so much fun to drive.

    I just leased an Ioniq 6 SEL for $249 (taxes included) with $4250 down but that included the drive off, taxes, fees and the first month payment. Basically $10K for 2 years. SEL is way nicer than the SE. 305 mile range.

      Also, i wasn't really sure but i had been there 4 days before and they had 6 of them but when i came back they only had 2 so i pulled the trigger.
      The ioniq 5 SE trim is cloth seats and not as nice. The limited was like $650/month with money down. so essentially 3x as much.

I may lease an EV this year mainly as a holdover till the ones i actually want (one with NACS and models that i want to consider but aren't slated to be out till 2026 or 2027 like the Tesla "Model 2", rebooted Chevy Bolt, and stuff like that) are available. Warning, well kind of since it does come with a 2 year free charging at a 30 minute session with Electrify America which is great, the kicker they are 2 Limited chargers in my area that get about 80 percent charge in 25 minutes. The 110 volt charger the car comes with will give you 10-40 miles over night charging. It still a great car and deal, just remember charging the car fully takes about a hour on 350kw charger.

    The Ioniq 6 is currently being recalled due to ICCU issues. The ICCU has been a problem for the E-GMP platform since the beginning. Until they find a proven solution, it is not worth the hassle. You can get a Model Y RWD for $320 a month.

    • @dianewallace6064
      @dianewallace6064 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I own an Ioniq 6. No issues with the ICCU although there is a recall now. Two ways to avoid any issues is: AC charge the Ioniq at slower speed (I set mine to AC charge at 60% speed 28.8A vs. 48A). Also, you can set charging speed and charging limits separately on the Ioniq as opposed to my husband's R1T where he has to change the charging speed and limits all the time. Secondly, don't run the battery below 20% and let the car sit. That will drain the 48V battery over time. If you have to do this, put the vehicle in Utility Mode and it will run all functions and software off the large battery.

    I got similar lease for 2023 KIA Niro EV wind trim. I was considering ioniq 6. Tested it and I can see why is not selling so much is the practicality. Cargo is 10cuft which is less than Bolt EV/EUV. Also I believe the cheap lease is for the ioniq 6 SE standard range (small battery). I know my Niro EV maxes at 85kW vs 200+ kW on Ioniq 6. However the current charging situation on road trips if the chargers are working what I noticed most ioniq 5 and 6 get between 100-150kW. Yes the deal is great but also kind if hidden or is it really? But to me again IONIQ 6 has very compromised practicality
