I have a heavy duty carhartt rain suit I have been in many heavy rain storms with my carhartt rain suit and never got wet. My carhartt rain suit is made from heavy duty pvc. I got mine in yellow so I can be seen in the rain.

Yes so don't use any type of silicone base waterproofer added on Spray and liquid water resistant washer treatment it doesn't work . Only I have been using very mild laundry detergent and cold water only for my Froggy Toggs rain jacket and bibs but after 10 years they delamination peeling off inside the jacket and bibs and pilling outside the suit like a sweater fuzzy balls catching every leaves and sticks and dirt and letting in water straight through the jacket and bibs I had it in 1990 multiple fishing and camping and hiking and I was miserable. I wore rubber suit and still miserable and cold in winter time I bought Redhead Mountain Stalker Parka and Rocky Pro Hunter camo insulated Thermo Bone-Dry waterproof Breathable parka and bibs bibs work ok but too hot in spring and summer and wore out Parka and Decided on Bass Pro shops Guide wear Elite jacket and bibs later on when I can get money $250. Dollars each They have Gore-Tex waterproof Breathable and windproof tough material and last a long time. And bought " Nikwax laundry detergent retreatment rainproof and breathable. One bottle for cleaning and another bottle for retreatment rainproof. Only Bass Pro shops has it in the camping department and not at the Rain wear department . Nikwax laundry detergent also does treatment for tents and cold weather down insulation sleeping bags and down jacket and blankets and another one is Cotton fabrics jacket and shoes and boots . Nikwax laundry detergent does for only Gore-Tex and Bone-Dry waterproof Breathable and others brands of Columbia brand of Rain suits.
My Frogg Toggs ripped down the crotch in the first 5 minutes when I climbed on a railcar. My crotch was soaked for the next 12 hours. I'll never buy it again
If you are going to make a review about motorcycle rain gear put on a motorcycle ride in the rain fiber 6 hours just trying to help set it before I've had numerous Frogg togg none of mine have ever work maybe it's just me just trying to help someone

Lol. I already knew the carhart wins in a down pour. The frog togs are suppose to be breathable. I would have sweat way to much in the carhart. That is why I wanted to use the frog togs I a real situation. The carhart is rubber.

Like 50 bucks) and when I put them on the crotch tore out. Not to mention the rain and splash just soaked through in 5 minutes and I was out there all day soaking wet. I went and bought some cheap pair of yellow rubber set and even though I looked like the Gordon's Fisherman, I was warm and dry from that point forward and they were 24 bucks. I'm going to get a set of those Carhartt ones.
I worked outside in the rain for years. I wore Frogg Togg suits, and they kept me dry in 9 hours of rain. I think you sweated inside the suit bud.

Frogg Togg is by far the worst products I've ever owned. They tear super easy and as your video shows, they DO NOT deflect water.
