Thanks for checking out the video amigos 💪 Subscribe if your new! I’m going to be taking this jacket on some mental adventures over the next couple of weeks 😂🏕🎥 ATB -Dave
Good video! Just bought one!.... they look perfect for emergency use... got the biggest so hopefully can put over my backback also on really bad downpours!
If you have something in your pockets, and want to take the coat off... you'll have to transfer your items. No pockets (through pockets) means you can change into and out of the jacket very quickly.
Thanks for sharing. The jacket is light but does not seem very resistant to me. Do you recommend wearing it, carrying a 15 kg backpack with wide shoulder straps? Don't you risk ruining it and making it lose its waterproof properties? Thank you in advance. Ivan
I was looking at buying a set recently to keep as a backup. Really helpful to hear your feedback. P.s. Thanks for featuring Town Farm Campsite @ 1:18 - come stay with us sometime! 🏕
Mine ripped immediately when I slightly spread my legs to sit down and froggtoggs refused to replace it even though it tore on the seam. I'm sure it's waterproof but only when it doesn't rip. lol I suggest people avoid the ultralight version and I am now looking for a stronger quality company.
They're super light but also super fragile. Got mine for Xmas, took it out, brushed past a twig and grazed my sleeve. I'll be getting a berghaus deluge suit next I reckon.
The thing is ... yes, for the price of a good Gore-tex coat you could buy 4 or 5 of those ... but you'll get through at least 6 of them while the Gore-tex is still going strong. Not to mention the problems with fast fashion and throwaway culture ... if you can afford a good coat then I would always recommend that you get a good coat.
Agreed! But for the people who can’t afford that or want a ultra light jacket ready for work/school and hiking, this is 100% a good option! 💪 Especially if say - a young family want to try hiking out for the first time and can’t afford to buy four goretex coats - this could be a great way to stay dry and test out if hiking is a pastime they could all enjoy 🏕
