To everyone wondering about the front license plate holder: The owner uses this car to commute to and from his job in NYC where careless people hit bumpers daily while parallel parking, so the owner has added this rubber plate frame to protect the bumper from light bumps from others.
I work in midtown so, they're a fairly common sight. So important to have as many NYC drivers use bumper contact to guide their parallel parking. #facepalm #metrocardplease
Jay steven Used ones are in the low $40s; fully loaded new is maxing out at $65K ... all over Auto Trader. Anybody paying North of $65K hasn’t shopped them. Found a black coupe with digital cluster & upgraded White (alabaster) interior ... AMG exhaust & carbon fiber for $62K.
I have a C43, chose it over the 63 because I think the sound signature of the 43 fits a Mercedes luxury car better. The 63 sounds like a muscle car and is just strange with it coming out of a luxury car. There are times I wish I had the 63, though, like when I'm out on the track or racing. It sucks thinking you could have more power, but at the end of the day the 43 is the best and most practical option.
@@joeikrunk346 Any C43 aged 2016-present only for sale for 26K is extremely cheap to where I'd be suspicious of serious maintenance issues or a really bad history with the car (multiple accidents).

They aren't really in the same league now. The M4 sits somewhere in between the c43 and c63 in the market. The nice thing is that all of the cars in this segment are focusing on their own corner of the market (M4, M3, RS5, RS4, C63, C63s, etc...)
I have the c350 coupe and the blind spot detection is amazing btw. It works even with motocycles that are flying up on the passing lane. It will let me know way ahead of time. Most functional blind spot detection system I've ever used. Visibility is quite good if you use all of your mirrors.
I leased the 2017 C43 AMG convertible. It is as amazing as you see. The convertible is even more fun to drive in California weather. I’m considering the C63 or S 63 when the lease expires in 2020.
This was great to watch! I own the same car just in a 4 door and this is exactly how I sound and feel every single time I drive it. Im like a little kid and the exhaust turns so many heads in Sport+!!!
If you don't mind the lack of a V-8, this thing with a tune seems like a great bargain for a new German! I'm sure a stock 43 is still a great drive too.

We have went through both vehicles the hood, doors, truck, the interior and the motor and the Mercedes quality and workmanship blows BMW away.I love when guys have so much to say about cars and don't OWN a BMW or MERCEDES or Audi or Infiniti.
tbroughton1 I am a fan of late bmw interior. It is very roomy airy, low dash, and extraordinary visibility while mercedes ones looks new but is bulky af.
Personally I think BMW is better due to the sleekness and it’s more simple imo also the 11 inch screen is just a lot better but the c43 is a great looking car

I've just bought one of these. Initially bought a new A45 AMG but canceled out of the contract to get one of these instead. The one I bought is ex-demonstrater so has 3k Miles on it but comes with all extras (AMG night package, Premium package, All the parking aids, Pearlescent white, performance exhaust) I really hope I made the right decision! Can't wait to get it next week definitely a nice upgrade from the A180 I'm driving now!

I love the looks of the C coupes. I’d love to grab a C63. I was looking into these, but currently I have a 2018 CLA45 amg and it’s stage 2. Around 455hp, and I feel like to grab one of these wouldn’t be much of an upgrade power-wise. But man they look great!

DFWs Cars are you taking the piss now? the word Audi should be at least 50 letters away from the word handling. A good FWD like golf gti or focus st would have less understeer than any non r8 Audi's.
Peida, which modern Audis have you driven to base that off of? TTRS, even new A4/S4 which I had on track-- mild understeer, easily solvable, and it's tight. Audi's changed a lot in the last few years, especially in S/RS models. You mention golf GTI which is MQB, same platform as the new A3.
DFWs Cars I've read about S8's stupid amount of understeer, test driven A3 and RS3 back in 2015 before I decided to go with an M135i. I've also owned a Lancer Ralliart for 4 years now and I can tell you, even that car handles better than the RS3. Oh did I mention the pseudo AWD golf R also has less understeer than RS3? Lol
Ya the S8 is kind of a whale. RS7s aren't bad tho. a lot of what comes across as understeer on regular road, is slow turn in with electric systems, MB, BMW, and even Audi have a long way to go to compare with Porsche/Cadillac electric systems. I'm a BMW fan but BMW's mindset has gone from ultimate driving machine to "our customers want more isolation" (quote from a BMW engineer). The 1/2 Series are the exception to that, which is why I have my 135 project car you may have seen some videos on.

mercedes never does it for me in regards to exterior looks. however, there performance and luxury design is on top. def leading the competition. i actually own a 2016 q50 red sport with just a tune and bolt on's i make 580 torque and 434 whp. my overall expense is still cheaper than the c43. however after 2 year ownership im looking at the c43. the red sport just doesnt have a sports car transmission and suspension. the engine however throws out insane power with very little mods.
This car shares a similar look with the Honda accord coupe. I saw one yesterday and thought it was a Honda that was badged with a Mercedes logo for jokes till I passed him and saw the front.
Believe it or not I enjoy the C43 more. It's down on power for sure but it's actually faster from a stop to about 70mph due to its AWD and better traction. If both C43 and C63 are tuned, the C63 has a much harder time putting that power down. If it's from about 30mph or so roll, yes there C63 would destroy there C43. Unless you track and always need to floor your car while already at high speed, the C43 is much better from lower speed and better on windy roads.
what springs did he buy i have the same car but in white i would love to lower it but i don't know what springs to put and also i tuned mine and this car a beast i have a bmmw 435 m pro and this benz eats it RACECHIP the way to go best tune
Man... those c43 seats look a little chunky compared the the 'race' seats of the c63. Is there an option to add those to the c43? The 'race' seats with the diamond stitching completes the interior of the c class.
those seats that you're talking about are incredibly stiff and uncomfortable, the stock seats are what you want unless you're not going to daily drive the car.
never sat in the GT3 buckets but id assume all bucket seats that are recaro are probably going to be stiff like the race seats in the c63. But unless you're filty rich you're not going to daily drive a GT3 anyways for it to matter lol.
I'm at a carwash and i saw one of these get cleaned and it was gorgeous so i looked it up. The exhaust sounds amazing and i heard The door thump when the washers closed it whoa what a solid sounding thump. I like how tickled this guy is while driving it lol. Also,my guess of 60k was right.

The reason you think the upshifts are slow is becaus the redline of the engine is at 6.200 rpm and the red markers are at 6.500 rpm! I own a C43 and it really annoyed me at first. But you just have to use the lights and markers on the screend and you will do fine :-)!

I have the sedan, great (super fast) everyday car. No need to get it all loaded up with options. The night, the upgraded light pkg and the performance exhaust is all one needs. Screw the leather, larger wheels and the nav. Mine was $57K msrp and got $1500 discount. Looks great.
Hey so I am considering getting a Subaru BRZ 2013. It would be all year round vehicle. Although I live in New Hampshire with crappy winters considering a rear wear drive any advice?
Depends if you have to climb snowy hills and how deep snow gets in New Hampshire. I got around fine here in Pittsburgh with my BRZ on snow tires though.
This year the most we got at one time was 14inches which unless you had four wheel drive you were stuck. Right now I drive a Chevy HHR LS although front wheel drive made it through this winter. The one other question I have should "if" i get BRZ get studded tires for snow or just regular snow tires?
Shane Hatch it's not impossible to get through the snow with RWD, FWD is better in snow conditions since it's pulling and not pushing, maybe you can consider something with awd like an older WRX if you're into subaru
Yes. I have the same exact car. It handles great but rides awful. I blame it mostly on the high performance summer run flat tires that come with it. I have high performance all season tires for the cold weather months and the ride is significantly softer without really hurting the handling.
I would totally try to buy this car but insurance is sooo high for it! 2400 a year!! Now I am looking at an m240i xdrive instead.... insurance for that was around 1200 a year... I wonder why its so high for the c43

I think it's safe to say Matt you like this car :-) and I agree 100% when you say the Interiors are some of the best in the Mercedes..Newer Mercedes.

I'm at a carwash and i saw one of these get cleaned and it was gorgeous so i looked it up. The exhaust sounds amazing and i heard The door thump when the washers closed it whoa what a solid sounding thump. I like how tickled this guy is while driving it lol. Also,my guess of 60k was right.

The reason you think the upshifts are slow is becaus the redline of the engine is at 6.200 rpm and the red markers are at 6.500 rpm! I own a C43 and it really annoyed me at first. But you just have to use the lights and markers on the screend and you will do fine :-)!
Why do some amg have the badge on the handle and some don’t ?
This is a awesome Mercedes, u get a lot for the buck. In comparison with other vehicles and brands by far this seems to be one of the best that I’ve seen as I’m looking to purchase a new car within the year this would definitely be number one on my top list I haven’t driven it yet but I know once I do I know when I’ll have

I have the sedan, great (super fast) everyday car. No need to get it all loaded up with options. The night, the upgraded light pkg and the performance exhaust is all one needs. Screw the leather, larger wheels and the nav. Mine was $57K msrp and got $1500 discount. Looks great.
Nice car for sure....I just do not like the column mounted gear selector! So wish it had a console shift...even the dial type.

What seats are those? My C43 seats don't have that kind of wrap around for the head rest. Mine is a sedan though so maybe that's the difference.
skater15153 those are standard seats, for the coupe, the upgrades option are the performance seats and they are amazing

This is a fly vehicle. Spacey for a coupe as well. I’ll take this over the sedan.

Hey so I am considering getting a Subaru BRZ 2013. It would be all year round vehicle. Although I live in New Hampshire with crappy winters considering a rear wear drive any advice?
Shane Hatch as long as you keep it stock, and a good set of winter tires it should be fine

Depends if you have to climb snowy hills and how deep snow gets in New Hampshire. I got around fine here in Pittsburgh with my BRZ on snow tires though.
This year the most we got at one time was 14inches which unless you had four wheel drive you were stuck. Right now I drive a Chevy HHR LS although front wheel drive made it through this winter. The one other question I have should "if" i get BRZ get studded tires for snow or just regular snow tires?
Shane Hatch it's not impossible to get through the snow with RWD, FWD is better in snow conditions since it's pulling and not pushing, maybe you can consider something with awd like an older WRX if you're into subaru

Yes. I have the same exact car. It handles great but rides awful. I blame it mostly on the high performance summer run flat tires that come with it. I have high performance all season tires for the cold weather months and the ride is significantly softer without really hurting the handling.
