Hi, I am a freshman and shoot in the ’90s is there still a chance for me to go d1-d2? And if so what do I need to shoot? Thank you

OIf course broski!! Tailor your expectations and work hard. But most importantly just enjoy it. If you put in the work and have fun there's no reason you won't get there. Be sure to get a coach you trust, practice 7 hours of putting per week. 5 hours of range time, and at least 36 holes a week. Good luck!!

What should I be shooting during my senior year of highschool if I want to play college golf?

Great video man! Just started my junior year in high school and really want to play college golf. My handicap is right around a 4 right now but I don’t have that many good tournament scores. Should I still reach out to coaches anyway? Thanks.

Absolutely, just establish contact and get numbers. Your're at a better spot than I was at your age. I was like a 6 going into my junior year. Grind extremely hard, but don't get caught up in speed training too much. That gave me nerve damage and now I have to redshirt lol.

Appreciate the advice in this video man! I have been playing golf for around 4 years now and I personally look around youtube for advice on college golf but after this video I felt that I gained some-sort self belief. I have one question what do you recommend is a good time to contact college coaches in high school or when is it late?
Thanks man have a great rest of your day!

For sure, I really apprecite the feedback. You should always be sending coaches emails and scores no matter what age you are. But don't be discouraged if they don't respond to you because coaches legally can't respond until the 2nd half of summer before 11th grade. But if you email them even before they can respond you'll be on their radar. Good luck g!!

You’re in the hunt as a sophomore. If you’re able to focus 2/3 of your practice time inside 100y & focus on getting 50-60% conversions on your up & downs, you will shoot par & below.

What’s up, I’m a upcoming sophomore this year and I’m averaging high 70s. I want to contact these coaches but I do not have any validation of scores, since I won’t be playing tournaments until next year. Is there a point of contacting them without scores or should I wait until I have actual validation of these scores? Thanks

They aren't allowed to talk to you until you are a junior per the NCAA regulations. It's not a bad idea to email just to establish a point of contact. I didn't play a tournament until my summer before senior year.
