But me and my Thai friends traced back the history of Muay Thai and Khmer boxing, making me realize that Cambodia lies and wickedly jokes doing this. I myself have never known Cambodia. For kickboxing or muay thai theres no difference between the ring and cage. The organization that Rodtang fights for now is OneFC and they use a cage for their mma fights. It's simple common sense really. Most cage fight rings (MMA) are also Cage like, hens the name.

Great video - Rodtang has been incredible in ONE. I just wish they would have Muay Thai bouts in a proper roped ring, that has corners - Because a big part of the sport is cornering your opponent. A ton of fighters just circle all nigght and it's way harder to trap them against the fence. That's where viscous knees and elbows that result in cuts or dropping him to the canvas. Cheers!!

There’s no real difference between the ring and cage cuz it’s all Muay Thai. The cage is for OneChampionship fights, which is basically the Asian version of the UFC. However, there can be some difference in rules, like when they fight with the full size boxing gloves they have to follow kickboxing rules, so no elbows, no knees, no trips; on the other hand the mma style gloves is full Muay Thai rules with sportsmanship conduct

Dear! my understanding that Octagon is wider, it's not suitable for Muay Thai fighting inside Octagon. However, in standard fighting Rink is allows the dominant fighter cornered the ponent to achieving it tasks easier, also it's smaller than Octagon. ✌
