    OH I FORGOT on Battlefield and Dreamland if you use Trampoline right at the ledge and land on the platform, you can charge an F-Smash and cover pretty much every option except for drop off if you're fast enough. And even if your opponent does drop off, if they're being careless they can still hit Trampoline and bounce into the smash attack

    Nice video there, friend. Refreshing to hear some high-end Pac-Man info from someone who ACTUALLY understands him.
    Fair to key in particular is criminally underused. Which, is odd...considering how useful it is against tall lightweights. Rips Rosa, Bayo, and Mewtwo apart if you know the percents.
    Personally, I feel ledge traps and bell are the best consistent options. Ever chain dash attack into bell? Free power pellet kill at like 60%. Just...*MMM*.

      Fawful's Minion Wow I didn't expect you to show up here. I'm happy you enjoyed the video, and thanks for the insight! I kinda forgot about dash attack to Bell for the video, but that is a really good setup too. Your opponent has to be at a reasonable percent where Bell will stun for long enough and Pellet will kill though

      Yeah. Pac-Man doesn't struggle to kill as bad as Sheik and Duck Hunt...but still a challenge. It's pretty important to take the first stock--since Pac's one of the best characters while in the lead. So frustrating to lag behind him.
      So...what's your next tutorial? Personally think pellet-shielding and wave-rushing are pivotal to optimize this yellow bastard.
      (If you're wondering what "wave-rushing" is, it's synergizing with the hydrant water to double all movement values while moving with it. Ex: Dashing while being pushed by water makes Pac-Man run faster than Sonic for a short burst, doubles the speed and distance of thrown fruit, etc.)

      Ah, sweet. From what I gather, a lot of Pac-Mains struggle against Samus. Which...um, no.
      Pellet-shielding is HUGE in that MU. Since you can not only block a charge shot if you read it...but it heals 2% as well.
      As you know, it can be cancelled out of Bonus Fruit Charge. So inexperienced Pacs should DEFINITELY learn this--as the tech allows Pac to dominate projectile wars even harder.

      Fawful's Minion It is. The MU is still pretty annoying though. It's not as bad as people say, but Pac doesn't have the greatest options for dealing with Zair, and struggles a little at landing against her since Up-Air can clank with Hydrant and catch Pc

    Great video. I never had the luxury of learning this from tutorials or other visual lessons, and I was unaware of smash forums for the longest time. Always just labbed and looked at other players for knowledge. Nice to see people putting stuff out there. Nice. :)

    Have you tried launching the hydrant with U-Air to Up-B for ledge trapping it works like a charm :)

      SuperInferno3 While that is good and does the same job, the two mentioned in the video are better. They're not as fast, but since Trampoline really doesn't launch Hydrant very far, meaning there's no threat to your opponent if they just hang onto the ledge and wait for Hydrant to disappear.

      Jalen Benjamin I probably won't make an entire video on it, but I'll just tell you right now. Turn off tap jump and AB Smashes, Rumble is up to you; I have it off because having it shake distracts me a little. Map a shoulder button to jump, which makes jump cancel OoS stuff easier, and the stick is up to you, tilt is probably more optimal since you get some mileage out of PP-D-Tilt/U-Tilt, but using smash is better for jab-jab-upsmash, and is better if you can't consistently perfect pivot

      Amalga, my button layout is a little different but not by much. I have my Y button set for grab so Z-Drops are easier. I turned off tap jump and my C-Stick is setup for tilts. I turn off rumble as well.

      Jalen Benjamin I didn't think of that. The Y button always feels awkward for me to access so I didn't really consider using it, but that's a good idea

      The way I look at it, your X and your Y buttons are closer together than your Z button meaning there's less of a reach your fingers have to do to perform a Z-Drop. I find it makes the timing that much easier because of the milli-seconds your saving with the buttons being so close

      Jalen Benjamin I use a GC controller, so you're kind of sliding over the A button a little, but I can usually get the timing just fine with the Z button
