Again, THE G FORCE RATINGS IN PLANET COASTER ARE BS. It says you are 0 g's when your car is sitting still. That would mean that you are WEIGHTLESS. And how high the G ratings go on the coaster are well above what would actually be generated by whatever you've built. It's best just to ignore G's in this game and look at Fear.

willem klomp planet coaster is a great game and I’ll throw all my money at Frontier to continue to improve it, but it’s definitely not a super-realistic coaster physics simulator.
I have done a whole project on the physics of planet coaster and when it comes to speed and acceleration it is very accurate and seems to use correct physic concepts, but the g-forces..... yea I chose not do that part specifically bc they looked unrealistic

On Planet Coaster I tend to get 1 g vertical when stationary, unsure if he isn't updated or what's going on. Physics seem to be natural (within the world) for me.

Speaking as someone studying to be an engineer, lateral G's are what push you to the side. Lateral means to or from the sides. Unlike what others are saying, you DO NOT want lateral G's. They are confusing that for Forward G's, which is what pushes you into or pulls you from your seat. If you have lateral G's, then your head is being pushed sideways into the over the shoulder bar. However, this ride has lap bars, not over the shoulder restraints. After this ride, there would be some people with some very sore necks after it. Possibly broken if they had pre-existing issues.
If you're going to have lateral g's, you want to lock down upper body movement as much as possible. Protect the neck. There is a reason most rollercoasters don't have lateral g's, and that's because it is uncomfortable and doesn't allow riders the freedom to move at all, compared to a small amount of movement that enhances the ride.

Lat G is the type of thing that makes your back stick to the seat when you're on spinning rides (E.g. Waltzer etc.) 5 isn't deadly, but its uncomfortable to say the least.
Lateral G throw you from side to side of the car. That's why gci rides are smooth, but throw tou around. Forward G sticks you to your seat or leans you forward
even when gci's are not smooth, those trains are hella compfy

I love how he's not even aware that this spinning coaster is meant to invert. The ride would be a bit cooler if it had some inversions.
If you made it invert in this game the fear would blast up and the excitement would g9 very low. I’ve tested it before

One of my favorite Videos of yours is the GTA 5 Mega-Ramp VR.
The inversions that you were attempting to do on the hybrid seemed a little buggy and weird because that model of coaster is designed to do inversions such as zero-g rolls/stalls and heartline rolls instead of elements such as vertical loops and the like. The reason behind this is it is rather difficult to safely support loops with the way you design wooden support structures what with the metal beams decapitating riders and so forth.

Nah, 5g’s isn’t too bad for a short time. A Gravitron spins you up to 3g at least, and that’s for a sustained time.

Remove the first loop on the wooden hybrid. It will still work if you just add another invert. Also on the second chain hill you you add the supports back

Silver Dollar City has Time Traveler which is the tallest, fastest, and it has the steepest drop of any spinning coaster. It also has three inversions.

Laterals are side to side, or horizontal to remember better when compared to vertical g forces.
5 would break your neck as your head is ripped to one side of the train
lateral G-force is the force that trows you to the side of the cart, simply explained. Most coasters IRL don't have that because of the banked bends, wich make it a vertical G-force because they make you ride on the plane the force is pressing you to.

Just watch video's of the X2 coaster. Same thing, but the point of them is that it changes your dicrection and you go down forward, without having no track in front of you. you managed to do that at some places, but for the most part, this feels like it's going backwards too much. imo.

Lateral Gs are the force applied to side, of that makes since. And example is if you are driving and you turn really fast and you feel the force on the sides.

The max lateral g force is 2.75
I don’t think you know the since about rollers so ima tell u lol. Lateral G’s main up and down G forces so if you had zero that means you would be floating in the air if you had four or five g’s you’ll be stuck to your seat if that makes sense
