- Can't believe I found this at a junkyard! What a gem find!
Going to be using this car as a parts car for the time being. It's got some pretty salvagable parts inside of it so I'll def be coming back for more!

Fun fact: The Devil Z is based on a real life 280zx turbo that was built to hell and back but they made it a 240z for the anime.
Yup! I fall in love with that car because of the one in Wangan Midnight anime show. I hope to buy one, one day.

That is Datsun had a really cool front. It reminded me of the Fiat spider.
I shed a tear every time I see a Z in a junk yard... I just bought a 1 owner 76 280Z that's been sitting for quite a few years, I plan on doing a restoration and making videos. and nice video btw! I look forward to checking out more of your content!

His approach of keeping/hoarding junkyard parts for his cars is pretty helpful especially for project cars and collectible cars like these, you never know when you'll need a part or if someone you know needs it
NICE FIND!! I have done so much work to my old zx. Now I either need to replace the bottom runners, and some other chunks fo the body, all cosmetic... or find a new body.
My first car was a gift from my uncle 79 280zx same color as that one.

You should grab the turbo engine. I have 3 ZXs and I stripped a turbo car. Got the 5 speed, complete turbo engine and R200 rear. I'd go back and get the engine and rear end, they are hard to find.
1st year 280ZX. TURBO. ALL AUTO. CLIMATE CONTROL, HEADLIGHT WASHERS.
I know that car 😄. I made a video on it when it got put out in yard. That crx was also pretty complete when it was put out. Made a video on that one too. Yea that yard is hit or miss when it comes to prices. Depends on who you get at the counter. The reason that most engines/transmissios are gone is because the yard pulls them to sell separately. If they are still in the vehicle, the yard sells it as a core and says its no good. Ive bought some good engines like that from there

So that was an 81 GL turbo....I have the same car with the stainless Targa band on the roof. Great find.

If im remembering correctly those are ford ranger wheels on the 350z, its definitely interesting but cool.

Those CRX headlights are worth some money.
Last time I checked, you can still get new complete carpet kits for like $250.

What do you use to find the cars you are looking for? I am aware of Row52 but there are a lot of yards that are not part of that program and finding cars in random junkyards can be pretty time consuming.
some of our local yards have websites that do keep up with their inventory but for the ones that dont I pretty much just dedicate a day to walk the yard when I can.
@@korosumyself Thanks... I am a hour or two south of you...had 240, z31 and, z32's....restoring a 944 now and am looking for 924/944 parts.

ECUs for those are absolute trash lol. Most everyone with the L28et is going over to standalone so you don’t have to deal with AFM and the wiring nightmare

It is so annoying how you think you need to take OFF the clips on the trunk struts. They only need to be pulled a little to release the struts. If you loose them they wont hold the trunk on your car, you do realize this don't you?

Great find but their cars left behind in London by rich people and classic and modern cars I was extra hand the salary was great just move and drive cars too the docks in London I made for 5 days half my salary of the year I was lucky
