Wow this was actually quite convicting... my day started with a TH-cam rabbit hole, and that's been the tone all day. I'm going to ask God to turn this day around right now!
Great video! As soon as I wake up I check my phone straight away, it's just become second nature now. I'm definitely going to try reading the bible in the mornings and spending the time I have in prayer, start my day off differently. An alarm clock is at the top of my shopping list😊
Momma knows best 👍🏻 I set 5 alarms every morning and its still super hard for me to wake up😭 Also, you guys should do a video entirely with an American accent 😂
Thank you for this video :) I'm really considering getting an alarm clock and charging my phone in another room. I don't think it's healthy or normal to look at your phone first thing when you wake up (which I am currently doing) and I hope getting an alarm clock will help me to have better self control in the morning and at night before I fall asleep.
Hi ya Jonathan, Is the first 2 mins in your room on Auto Focus or Manuel? Just trying to get a Gauge on how people Use the Focusing etc.. and the Lens you use for vlogs? Many Thanks, Jay..
Sorry for the slooow reply! I only just spotted this question. This was in auto. But I tend to use manual now if I'm doing talking pieces, I find the focus does drift a lot on the GH5, especially with faces.
Ah - I forgot you're using your other camera for vlogging! Thanks for being brave and still letting us follow you around, even with the GH5. I personally feel awkward taking selfies and can't imagine actually vlogging (even with a phone). But to see the footage is so worth it! Are you able to fix your other camera? (you'd mentioned it might be expensive?)
Haha yeah vlogging in public is always a bit awkward, but it's a fun challenge! The G7x actually was working ok last time I tried. I just didn't have the charger with me for this trip, so I had to bring the big one! 😊
Set Sail that's cool man! so, good Christian music sent me to you. I've only recently discovered church music outside of what's "mainstream" (hills, passion, bethel, etc.). I was really getting tired of what's being put out there. they all sounded the same (I, IV, V or IV, V, I or IV, V, vi) and the lyrics repetitive/bland/uninspired. I was looking for more substance and It's a blessing to have found you folks. I lead worship at a local church here in Hawaii. I was wondering if I could pick your brain a bit about using triggers and drum tracks live on stage. Two of examples come to mind - the Sinai sessions "Waterfall" and "Home". I'd like to be able to trigger/start/stop pads, drums, etc. Been doing my research but thought to reach out and get more ideas on where to start. Any recommendations on a DAW and pad? What if using a laptop is not an option? Will the Akai standalone mpc's work well enough? Thanks Jonathan for any direction you can give me.

We're all guilty of that! God can always turn it around :)
Amen!
I should go buy an alarm clock now

I'm looking for a nice looking alarm clock, for the reasons you mentioned. What's the model of the one you have? Thanks!
