One of my all time, favorite moments is the greatest baseball player ever Bonds couldn't throw out Sid Bream, who's had multiple knee surgeries trying to score from second.

That last play was a good one to end on. Probably the worst of all!!even though the stakes were low.

    2023. USL Championship Playoffs.
Pittsburgh Riverhounds enter the playoffs as the #1 overall seed and face #8 Detroit City FC who only got into the Playoffs because they tied the Riverhounds 0-0 in Detroit and Detroit ends up beating the Hounds 1-0 in Pittsburgh.

I’m a huge pats fan and I still don’t know how the refs called incomplete on the Jesse James td.
If I were making the list, I would have considered the 2001 afc championship game against the pats.
Specifically, the Troy brown punt return for a touchdown.
The refs misplaced the spot on the wrong hash and the punter gave brown a lollipop after the re-kick.
It wasn’t a single play that cost them the game (Joey porters dropped interception of Bledsoe) but it was just enough for the pats to win

The Pirates drought of a WS Winner since 1979 must be getting to be one long embarrassment. Considering, this franchise was winning a WS every 8-11 years. From once long frustrated BoSox fan of 43 seasons goin' now. Maybe your "2004" is around the corner! Good luck!

With how MLB is structured now, I don't think the Pirates will ever win a title again. If Paul Skenes becomes a star, then another team will pluck him away from the Pirates.
