It makes me so happy to hear a composer talk so extensively not just about his craft and how he did it but also how actively he thinks of story and how to color the scene and help aid the storytelling. Filmmaking is a collaborative art and to hear artists emphasize how they're all working to help elevate and tell a story and not just be auteurs and narcissistic is wonderfully refreshing in a business that right now seems to want to kill art and sell the parts for pennies.

Look. I love Ludwig Gorranson's work. Oppenheimer is a great score but maaaaaaan Daniel created a world that swallows me whole everytime I hear ATSV soundtrack. Every sound makes me relive all the excitement I felt watching the movie. Hope Daniel gets the Oscar this year

He understands that while he could use these great sounds that he has at his deposition, he knows that this song needs to tell the story as it goes, not the other way around, and he progresses the track to go higher and higher so that it reaches that climax over time but also adds that extra to the storytelling itself. While you might be able to say "yeah that what a normal composer is supposed to do" he was responsible with ending the movie and as he said it himself, is in turn setting up the anticipation for the cliffhanger and is what makes so many people that love this scene, score, and movie excited for what's next in BTSV
I hope Daniel does a "Neuva York Train Chase" breakdown, that moment is so monumental and I went to the theaters multiple time just to see that scene again and again :]

Like as if everything bad that has happened, the hero never gives up and finally has that moment where they jump into the fire, only to come out holding the flame in their hand. I love this song so much. Also a good song for writers to help with writer's block lol
Daniel Pemberton is the greatest composer of this generation, manages to be incredibly experimental and unique while also creating incredibly moving and memorable soundtracks. I literally listen to his soundtracks all the time because they're just so good.

daniel pemberton is just amazing at what he does. His score is jaw dropping and its so fun to listen to. What's so cool is that it looks like he totally loves what he created. I literally listen to this omw to work. It’s so epic having the Prowler theme, Gwen’s theme, Miles Theme and Spot’s theme all in one. John Pasesano for insomniacs spm, Daniel Pemberton for spider verse, Danny Elfman (Raimi’s spm) and Hans Zimmer for TASM2 imo made the best scores for the spm movies. Ik I left out James Horner and Micheal Giacchino who made iconic spm themes but the other 4 Composers just nailed it 100% spot on for me. I could just listen to the Soundtrack and picture the scene in my head they’re that good.

my first time watching this movie (on release day in IMAX, obviously) in the intro, something interesting happened to me. I got VERY excited. The score was hyping me up so much. And scaring me ngl. long story short, I had an "excitement panic attack." I realised I was hyperventulating and couldn't feel my hands or feet. yeah... you can imagine how the rest of the film went for me. ESPECIALLY the final scene!!! I'm so glad I'm witnissing the best trilogy ever in real time, wow
From what I'm hearing, this man doesn't need a nomination or reward to tell him his work is stellar, he already feels it. He FELT how good it was while he was making it.

I literally listen to this omw to work. It’s so epic having the Prowler theme, Gwen’s theme, Miles Theme and Spot’s theme all in one. John Pasesano for insomniacs spm, Daniel Pemberton for spider verse, Danny Elfman (Raimi’s spm) and Hans Zimmer for TASM2 imo made the best scores for the spm movies. Ik I left out James Horner and Micheal Giacchino who made iconic spm themes but the other 4 Composers just nailed it 100% spot on for me. I could just listen to the Soundtrack and picture the scene in my head they’re that good.
Being able to see exactly how the spiderverse sounds and music are made is so satisfying, and it's all because of this legend right here! Thank you, daniel!

my first time watching this movie (on release day in IMAX, obviously) in the intro, something interesting happened to me. I got VERY excited. The score was hyping me up so much. And scaring me ngl. long story short, I had an "excitement panic attack." I realised I was hyperventulating and couldn't feel my hands or feet. yeah... you can imagine how the rest of the film went for me. ESPECIALLY the final scene!!! I'm so glad I'm witnissing the best trilogy ever in real time, wow

Haven’t seen anyone notice this, but when Spot appears during the middle of the soundtrack, there’s a difference between the film and the soundtrack on TH-cam, Spotify, etc. 8:14
