I have no interest in doing anything youtube related, but part of me wants to quit my job and go do analytics or something for him. It's not the money. It's his inventiveness, drive, and clear vision for doing something big. Dude is literally the gold standard on youtube right now and I hope he holds the title for a while.
@Freeman He got famous on a similar path to what agencies used to do for celebrities in the old days... Buy up all the magazines and newspapers that mention them, which caused the media to push their content. A celebrity whose tabloids sold out was more likely to have a poster more prominently placed at the movie theater for a movie featuring them. Manipulating the media isn't all high-tech. Of course, back then, some good crosscut shredders were necessary.
@@artugert It was nothing like that, he would post his videos in many places (not spam like) and do insane stuff, videos that would take days to make like reading the whole bible a whole dictionary counting to 1 billion stuff like that, viewers loved to watch him suffer, then one day he started giving away money to people in need and everyone was like: ''Daaaamn he suffers that much yet he gives away to people in need'' after repeating the process for a while he gained a lot of viewers, then he started doing the fun videos and thats how he became the MrBeast we know
I've watched this video like a dozen xs now and even took some notes. Props to the creator for assembling it and not promoting himself until the very end, when it was deserved.
He is truly a genius. The thing is that being a TH-camr is like a business, and he knows it pretty well. So if you want constant growth, views and subs, you need to give people what they want. And he does it amazingly well. Same like businessman offers products people need. Tough part could be starting your channel, and honestly for me the most helpful thing was that I found out about Famester which really helped to kick start my channel. The best thing is that it also works for every other social media, so I am not only tied to TH-cam.
I've never watched any Mr Beast videos but obviously have heard of him, and I find it really impressive how open and accessible he is about his strategies. It really shows how success is a combination of knowing the path *and* be willing to put in the work/make the sacrifices to see it through.
Not at all, i was subbed to him when he had like 7k subs and went by MrBeast6000, dude would barely break 1k views but would definitely upload almost everyday. I vividly remember about how he would always joke in his videos and make fun of himself in his videos on how he will never blow and be as big as pewdiepie and he’s wasting his time, but its crazy because years later i stumbled across his page again and noticed he removed the 6000, but the sub count was up in the millions it was insane because i promise u i watched a video of his back in highschool where he had less then 1000 views, its just Hard work and dedication if ur good enough eventually something will spark then its all up to u at that point
Wrong and wrong. People that succeed don't engage in work, they engage in things they love. Work is for peasants. And by putting him on that pedestal, you simply isolate yourself from success.
Wow, I didn't know he would spend all day on the phone with 4 other TH-camrs, for days at a time. I can see how powerful that would be in accelerating your learning curve.
The concept of forming a group to learn something is seriously underrated. I've been trying to learn to play competitively in Smash Bros Ultimate and after grinding for almost a year, making slow progress, I got my brothers to grind with me, we were all learning from each other and I felt myself improving much faster. Pretty wild stuff
I feel like today it's pretty easy to be genius on TH-cam or any other social media with all these tools. You can ramp up your numbers using some of them fairly easy. Likes, views, subs, anything you want (to be honest Famester is the best so far for this issue). Now I have no troubles to stay popular every single day. Before it was a hassle to keep up with constant changes in their algorithm, I don't understand why they have to change it constantly...
What an amazing person. I feel like a lot of careers beat this passion out of you, well for me anyway. Such a wonderful thing to see someone cutting through a lot of BS and thriving.
My husband is my roaster, his constructive criticism came to me as an insult in the beginning....but I've gotten over my ego and VALUE his input.....it's really helping me out together better videos
The most admiring thing about Mr. Beast to me is his integrity and willingness to stay true to his word. When he says he’s going to do something…NO MATTER what it is…he’ll do it. He does not care one bit what others think, their criticisms of his decisions, or their attempts of trying to persuade him otherwise. I remember one of his earliest videos was “I’m going to watch 10 straight hours of a dance compilation!!” He sat in his room on his webcam, started the video which consisted of rapid scene changes, crazy editing and some weird “techno” song that never changed rhythm or beat or melody…and HE SAT THERE THE ENTIRE 10 HOURS. He never got up ONCE. He never paused the video, never went to the bathroom, didn’t show signs of discomfort really, yes he became super tired and bored but he didn’t “lose his mind!” Obviously there’s no way I watched all 10 hours, but you can jump ahead or scroll to the end and you see it’s real and he really did sit there for 10 hours straight. It’s an absolute mastery display of patience, tolerance and dedication. Jimmy, as shy and awkward as he can be at times, is an absolute BEAST of a man! Hence the name. This man is just getting started surprisingly. He’s still SO YOUNG and has this much influence and power. I see him becoming a very important person in the our future.
Learn different things. I'm stuck on your mindset. I always catch my self saying the time of day as time passes. I am trying new things like poetry, poloariid project, painting, knitting, video editing, learning how to make side income, etc. I have so much time now that the love of my life is gone. Time heals all. Guaranteed. See you at the top.
The trick to motivation is to get out of your head. Read a lot, not for the knowledge for for the mindset and exploration. Find your fears. Decide on taking on the most important one. You'll have dopamine flowing. You can't motivate yourself by going after something you're not really excited about. And that's for you to answer.
He has charisma maxed, he has fantastic tips, fantastic road maps, amazing advice but you need that charisma and the skill to make vids. Bro never lost his inner child cause he grabbed the wave before anyone could make him crash in it. BEAUTIFUL.
I'm probably the only person in the western hemisphere that hasn't watched a ton of Mr. Beast videos but man, watching these interviews is even more mindblowing than I could possibly even imagine. Just the story about getting together with 4 other lunatics for a thousand days straight on skype and brainstorming about every detail imaginable about crafting videos was stunning. Well over 12 hours a day every day. For close to 3 years? THAT's how you get it done! We know the guy is beyond brilliant, but as others have mentioned he's got a heavily academic approach matched with boundless, non-stop work ethic. Phenomenal!
This is epic because, tiktok users are going viral by uploading hella short videos. But now we know that Jimmy worked hard for his position, can u guys imagine skyping 12hours a day. Guy earned his respect hats off

Whether he's giving away large sums of money or creating elaborate stunts and experiments, MrBeast always manages to keep his audience engaged and entertained, and his success shows no signs of slowing down.* 🤟
Here is the summary of the video: 1. MrBeast was offered $5,000 for a video when he was 19 years old. 2. He tried to negotiate to double the amount and give it to a homeless person. 3. MrBeast and his small group of TH-cam friends spent 1,000 days in a row discussing and studying what makes a good video, thumbnail, and pacing. 4. They would spend long hours on Skype discussing and learning from each other's mistakes. 5. MrBeast believes that working in a group is more effective than working solo because you can learn from each other's mistakes. 6. MrBeast and his friends edited thumbnails on their computers, but noticed that the thumbnails became hard to see when they were shrunk down on phone screens. 7. They began to edit thumbnails specifically for phone screens to make them more visible. 8. MrBeast's group tries to make their titles and thumbnails stand out from the rest. 9. They try to deliver on the promises made in their titles and thumbnails. 10. MrBeast believes that it is important to have good pacing in videos. 11. They try to vary the length of their videos to keep their audience engaged. 12. MrBeast believes that it is important to have a clear beginning, middle, and end in a video. 13. They try to avoid filler content and instead focus on delivering valuable information to their audience. 14. MrBeast advises other TH-camrs to find a group of people to work with and learn from. 15. They suggest that TH-camrs should seek out honest feedback and try to improve their content. Thanks for chatGPT to do this summary. :)

It's really interesting to hear about how MrBeast started off and how he and his friends learned from each other and grinded for a year to learn the secrets of making good content. I appreciate his perspective on how having the right group of friends can really help you improve your content and learn from each other's mistakes. MrBeast's approach to creating viral videos is also intriguing, and I think his advice on matching and exceeding viewer expectations is spot on. It's important to give viewers a reason to click on your video, but it's even more important to deliver on those expectations and give them something unexpected and exciting. Overall, I think MrBeast is an incredibly talented and hard-working TH-camr who has earned his success through his dedication and willingness to learn from his mistakes. It's inspiring to hear his story and I'm excited to see what he comes up with next.
Being a creator is not as easy easy as it seems.. But I think continues learning and just being in competition with yourself could make you far on TH-cam.. I love being a creator it doesn't how long it takes 👍
For what I understood by his saying, being regular and keeping your core skills in the video is the top notch stuff, even if you blow up in a single video, what is the gaurantee that you will doing the same in the next video, thank you bro for such an inspirational video!
Great information. The first point about working and learning with friends is so true. In 2004, when I was learning to play poker, no one that I knew played or was interested. It was before the NL craze. But there were lots of groups of young male players that were learning together. They discussed everything and did also speak on Skype ( sometimes when they were playing online unfortunately) and they all learned quickly. It took me much longer working alone. Hardly any women played then and almost none my age did. It's a huge advantage to be learning with a group of likeminded people. I think it will be easier to find TH-cam friends now to learn with.
Your hard work was really helpful. Thank you for this. Just earned a new subscriber. (I don't even have a gaming channel, nor do I care much about growing my channel). But what great editing and work to get the best bites out.
I think he's a pretty decent dude, but there's really not many of us, whether we have the desire or not, who could be working on or focused on TH-cam or content to the degree he's talking about. That takes a lot of time. He mentions being on a skype call from 7AM to 10PM. If you're someone who has to work and go to school full time, that's unrealistic and I think it's SOOOOO important to make that part of the discourse when talking about success like this. You have to already have a support system and some safety set up to be able to dedicate the kind of time being spoken about. It's awesome he's had that, but it's really got to be a bigger part of the overall conversation.
This is helpful if you're set on getting BIg on youtube. You need to also enjoy what you do, outside of making the videos about it. The ideas will come to you on its own if its something you love
I absolutely love him. I mean yeah I am A mom of five and not his demographics but seriously he’s a genius and I wish my kids liked me as much as they love him lol.

2. He made mistakes and learned from those AND others mistakes (learning from others mistakes is also important).
3. If you want something that badly, it takes time, it takes motivation and it must be a passion.

I have no interest in doing anything youtube related, but part of me wants to quit my job and go do analytics or something for him. It's not the money. It's his inventiveness, drive, and clear vision for doing something big. Dude is literally the gold standard on youtube right now and I hope he holds the title for a while.
I personally don’t enjoy his content. To each his own, I guess.
Of course, back then, some good crosscut shredders were necessary.
th-cam.com/video/GvYN6fyb2sE/w-d-xo.html
@@user-ln5il4un3x How was his path similar to that? I don't know his story.
@@artugert It was nothing like that, he would post his videos in many places (not spam like) and do insane stuff, videos that would take days to make like reading the whole bible a whole dictionary counting to 1 billion stuff like that, viewers loved to watch him suffer, then one day he started giving away money to people in need and everyone was like: ''Daaaamn he suffers that much yet he gives away to people in need''
after repeating the process for a while he gained a lot of viewers, then he started doing the fun videos and thats how he became the MrBeast we know
I knew he worked hard and was a genius. But this video helped me understand he deserves every penny he's earned
Do u still feel that way after all the allegations
I've watched this video like a dozen xs now and even took some notes. Props to the creator for assembling it and not promoting himself until the very end, when it was deserved.
An awesome video honestly!
People want "STUPID" and if you give them "STUPID" they will follow and like your content. Mr. Beast is the master at doing this.
And people want, nay demand mindless, moronic content.
I've never watched any Mr Beast videos but obviously have heard of him, and I find it really impressive how open and accessible he is about his strategies. It really shows how success is a combination of knowing the path *and* be willing to put in the work/make the sacrifices to see it through.
Jimmy is a once in a lifetime TH-cam workaholic super entertainer. He just basically lives his job and succeeds in every aspect of it.
Not at all, i was subbed to him when he had like 7k subs and went by MrBeast6000, dude would barely break 1k views but would definitely upload almost everyday. I vividly remember about how he would always joke in his videos and make fun of himself in his videos on how he will never blow and be as big as pewdiepie and he’s wasting his time, but its crazy because years later i stumbled across his page again and noticed he removed the 6000, but the sub count was up in the millions it was insane because i promise u i watched a video of his back in highschool where he had less then 1000 views, its just Hard work and dedication if ur good enough eventually something will spark then its all up to u at that point
th-cam.com/video/GvYN6fyb2sE/w-d-xo.html
Wrong and wrong. People that succeed don't engage in work, they engage in things they love. Work is for peasants. And by putting him on that pedestal, you simply isolate yourself from success.
It's worthless, moronic crap.
Wow, I didn't know he would spend all day on the phone with 4 other TH-camrs, for days at a time. I can see how powerful that would be in accelerating your learning curve.
0:35 right friend group? 💀 that aged well
I was just thinking about that.
Learning from others' mistakes is very important. Its like learning without losing, or learning with no efforts.
Thanks, very real human with 56 subs

What an amazing person. I feel like a lot of careers beat this passion out of you, well for me anyway. Such a wonderful thing to see someone cutting through a lot of BS and thriving.
As a small TH-camr, I really needed Jimmy's advice.
He represents the person that finds his passion and brings that skill he is passionate of, to perfection.

I remember one of his earliest videos was “I’m going to watch 10 straight hours of a dance compilation!!”
He sat in his room on his webcam, started the video which consisted of rapid scene changes, crazy editing and some weird “techno” song that never changed rhythm or beat or melody…and HE SAT THERE THE ENTIRE 10 HOURS.
Maybe he should have watched his friend group closer...
So cool to see how motivated he is. I cant even motivate myself to live my life it seems

We know the guy is beyond brilliant, but as others have mentioned he's got a heavily academic approach matched with boundless, non-stop work ethic. Phenomenal!

You have a really cool channel though
We are literally witnessing the GOAT of TH-cam, enjoy it while it lasts.
He's amazing, thanks for the interview 😍
