    I’ve been following this build on the forum and I am UNBELIEVABLY EXCITED to see the video I’m trying to make it out to see it fly since I’m only a days drive away

    Living in Alberta, I too was at the LDRS in Canada which was put on by my local club the Lethbridge Rocketry Association.

    Haha that fin discussion toward the end. Every project needs a good moment where you question all decisions up to that point.
    Does Taylor travel for stage rally? I volunteer and do radios up at New England Forest Rally in Maine. Would be fun to run into each other.

      Hey, it's Taylor! Southern Ohio Forest Rally is about as far east as I go. I am lucky in that there are three rallies a year in Missouri!

    I love the folks at wildman, they love the NASA USLI competition and are always stocked for it! Can’t thank them enough.

    What was this an upscale of?

    That is exciting. Can't wait to see it fully assembled.

      Certainly not opposed to this becoming a billboard for motor money lol.
      If someone finds company interested send them my way, maybe we can fly it at Midwest Power too lmao

    Meh. Same crap, bigger airframe. "...the motor mount assembly which consists of a central 98mm mount and six 75mm mounts..." Wait, what?

    Balloon trick?? I totally get it that’s a great idea

    • @RocketVlogs
      @RocketVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, just inflate a balloon inside the coupler to level the glass out then pop it when it's dry

    8” rockets look pretty ridiculous, you really do need an insanely tall rocket for it to make sense. 12”!? That’s just ridiculous

    • @RocketVlogs
      @RocketVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm a little lost, here. It's proportional to the rocket it's an upscale of.
      The Punisher's length relative to its diameter is basically aerodynamically ideal. That's the case no matter what diameter it is, haha

    • @nathanielberntson8883
      @nathanielberntson8883 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RocketVlogs Oh yeah these rockets are totally stable and fly well if proportioned correctly, but I guess what I’m trying to say is it just looks a bit unreal. There’s basically no good reason I can think of to go to a 12” diameter except to be big, which is why I guess I have never seen one before, making it crazy to see here

    • @RocketVlogs

      @@nathanielberntson8883 Ah, I see.
      That is exactly the reason we chose to do it, haha. There are not a lot of big dumb rockets getting flown these days and it's a shame!
