Grandissimo Pasquale Grasso! Musicista immenso. Non ti conoscevo ma ti faccio tanti complimenti, Bravissimo. Thanks a lot Emmet for giving us the chance to know so talented and inspiring musicians! Keep going!

A guitarra elétrica de P Grasso me levou à infância, meu pai uma vez trouxe aqui em casa um amigo que tocava guitarra elétrica, é inesquecível! Que sonzão!! (RJ/BR/jun/2021)

@@guidemeChrist I think what disguised it for me was the substitution of the IV7 (Bb7) for its ii-7 (Fmin7) and the fact that the tonic is a major seven instead of the conventional tonic dominant chord.
@@UkuleleAversion in stricter the bebop, the more likely the first chord in a blues is major and not dominant of four. If the bass is heard everything else can be heard, great sound at every song

Great performance all round. It's good to hear the bass so clear, and not lost in the mix.
Amazing performance and a display of such beautiful and melodic bebop language
emmet you sound fantastic, guitar player is fabulous, bass and drums the best,
Pasquale!
Beautiful performance......, love it 👍❤️
A Blues with a tricky head, and chord changes, which makes for an interesting tune.

The hippest blues head I know, by far. Great choice and intepretation
I love how Pasquales solo lines leave no top or bottom notes unresolved. Holistic treatment of melody.
I can’t believe I haven’t realised that Dance of the Infidels is essentially a blues.
@@UkuleleAversion that's how hip it is lol

Monk moves.
Great
That guitarist speaks bebop like its his mothers tongue
I am old, so for me jazz is as good as boppy it is.
Emmet’s solo was so dope, I almost threw my phone!
Badasses
Is that like an E7#9/F sound Emmet is playing over on the last two bars of the head?
Yes but he's probably just thinking an F-9maj7 or something like
to me its sounds more like a Cmaj7 with added b6
Who knew that Guillermo del Toro was such a fantastic guitarist!?
Seriously? haha they don't look alike to me
