In a wordly culture where I feel people are praised for being fast, quick, and praised for having a sense of urgency, I love love how Isabel's movements seem slow, with intention, and with seemingly no concern about needing to rush or be fast. Anyone else feel this way when watching Isabel's videos? Isabel, again thanks for your inspirational videos. God's continued blessings to you and your family and friends that support you😃🧡!!

Please put up your hair when using tools with spinning parts! I used to teach shop in university theatre department and had a young woman use a drill press ignoring the long hair safety rule. I had just finished helping another student and was scanning the other students to see how they were doing. My eyes reached the drill press and saw the first wisps of long hair reaching the chuck. Before I had time to yell a warning her face was smashed into the motor housing and a 2" dia piece of scalp was ripped out.

I get this - but I wish she could see the beauty in taking care of her hands. They do so much for her, why not do just a little for them? Just a little care, like rubbing a balm along her cuticles nails and knuckles before bed, will heal and protect her skin so quickly. It's amazing how so much a little care can do. I used to neglect my hands so much and they were always rough, cracked and in labor - but after deep meditation and with effort to heal my body I realised how harsh I've been on them. I started using some vitamin e oil, mixed with shea/cocoa butter. I made a balm, and rub just a bit on my cuticles/nails, hands and wrists before bed, and my hands transformed. I love taking care of them and looking at them so well cared for now. I also have started to use gloves for various purposes when working. I hope one day she'll see the value of taking care of her hands.

Hairstylist here! I love your videos! I recommend avoiding coconut oil in future hair care products. The molecules are actually too small to penetrate the hair shaft. Instead of moisturizing and conditioning, it just sits on top causing it to be oily while the actual hair is suffocating and drying out underneath. Something like argon oil would be a better choice. Good luck!!!

Instead of plantings single rows, why don't you plant in raised boxes? Also, you should try to utilize your space with planting like the Indians did...plant beans, corn and squash together. The beans replenish the nitrogen in the soil, the corn provides a living pole for the beans to grow on, and the squash provides a living mulch to reduce water loss. There are so many other plant pairings that are beneficial to each other including insect repellent benefits.
Your little farm has so much more potential to intensively garden and produce more crops and healthier plants! Good luck to you!!!!😁

Isabel, I really admire your ability to dive full-on into projects while also taking time to appreciate what you have. Thank you for reminding us of this. I believe we share a deep love of the land, and I wanted to share a rose-harvesting tip I learned: leave 1 rose petal behind on each flower to attract the bees so the flowers still get pollinated. Congratulations on getting the plants in the ground - so exciting!

Absolutely! But I give most credit to the parents. My Dad had me re-building car engines and putting up drywall as a kid. He wanted to teach me "self-reliance"and it worked! Now as an adult I am completely self-sufficient and do my own landscaping, plumbing, flooring, etc. Definitely I have to give a big shout out to her parents for all the positive self-motivation that they surrounded her with:-)

Safety tip. I speak from experience, being a longhair. Tie up your hair when operating the power hand tools. Not fun getting your hair wrapped around a saw blade. On a side note; Logan should consider doing voice work.
