    The current batch of 300T's, and new ones moving forward have HEV's. Including mine bought in June.

    Honored that my Caribbean GMT could help you in making this video. Doxa is a wonderful brand and I have been a fan of the watch for decades. As well as an owner of many.....two of which I still own that I purchased in 2006. Great great video.

    Excellent video ! I own a sub 6000t professional and have used it diving. At 100ft the orange dial looks chocolate brown. Love Doxa!

      More about contrast at depth then colour. Had a buddy with yellow fins and was shocked how well I could see him at 100ft since most colours are very different at that depth!

      It feels like a car dealership when you put it that way. It's like you're driving around with your toyota's and nissan's from the dealership while looking at the showroom's lexus display. doxas are magical indeed.

    The SUB 300 is COSC certified Chronometer, and the SUB 300T (the first general public diver's watch equipped with a helium release valve) isn´'t.

    What would you lean towards if you had to choose between the new Sub 300 and the current Sub 300T? Is the domed crystal and COSC ETA worth the extra money do you think?

    • @DesignAtelier
      @DesignAtelier  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The extra money for me is worth it because my taste almost always favor vintage aesthetics. More often now a days that people tend to be divided towards the box or domed crystals because of the thicker perception and sometimes unwieldy proportions. It’s always a plus to have a COSC certification even if you don’t dive with your watches. It’s more accurate and adds credibility to a watch except for select brands say seiko.

    • @calsurflance5598
      @calsurflance5598 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s been a year since you asked the question. I have owned a big case sub6000t for 4 years, and in hind sight, wish the domed crystal sub 300 had been available when I bought mine. A friend of mine bought a 300. The crystal helps greatly with the visibility of the dial and the smaller case makes the watch much more comfortable.
      The sub300 is closest to the original from 1967.

    Needs 50+ hour reserve and antimagnetic movement.. Plus, Seastern and Tactical Frog are made in same factory in China as most of Doxa's parts... and they cost $200. The ETA2824/SW200 movements cost around $250. That shows anything over $500 on a Doxa is a ripoff.
