From the vide work, the trailer, history review, background music to the overall review everything is done remarkably well in my opinion. This is an outstanding review! Excellent work man and many great wishes to you for your upcoming work. I just order a Sharkhunter yesterday because of the review & shots in this video :)
I appreciate your words :) haha, congratulations! I think the Doxa Sub 200, especially the sharkhunter is a hidden gem. hope you enjoy it! thank you once again :)
Watched this video about 4 times. I’ve just purchased a Sharkhunter and cannot wait for it to arrive. Your video has the perfect blend of storytelling, information, history and watch review. Love the fact that it flows so well - no need for “and now the bezel” intro pause - you just flow and talk knowledgeably about the watch. Great video, you do a great job 👏
Thanks for this review... I'm doing the browsing before I buy my next watch and this is on my radar. I have seen the clasps criticised and the 19mm lug to lug for strap replacement.
Fantastic watch, superb quality video,,,, I've got a strange urge to dig out my dvd of JAWS, and give it another viewing, ha ha,, all the best,,, John..
About 6 months ago I decided that I really should get myself a decent quality watch to mark a fairly significant achievement in my life. After much research, I finally decided on the Doxa Sub 300T, but I was really torn between the traditional 'Professional', the 'Aquamarine', or 'Sharkhunter'. Seeing as it was my first Doxa, it really HAD to be the 'Professional'. After a month or so, I decided that the decision HAD been the right one, but I still wanted the other two colourways, so I bought myself a Sub 200 in Aquamarine and Sharkhunter. NOT as good as the Sub 300T, but certainly close enough. Tough reliable watches, that I KNOW I can trust!
You need so many more subscribers. First time I’ve Said that of any TH-camr. Keep up the great production and storytelling and you will go pro. Thanks for the great content.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I love any tricks you can offer me
@Jamie Allen I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Amazing video!! Receiving the sub 200 in whitepearl tomorrow, can’t wait :’) if there’s one thing that bugs me about the sharkhunter model, it’s that the aged looking lume doesn’t match the white of the date window. Hence why I got the whitepearl, ultra clean
Fantastic video! Enjoyed it a lot. Great shots. This is a wonderful love letter to a special watch. I own the same exact model and you re-ignited my love for it. Good luck with the channel!
A watch that has made it to my short list of next watch to buy, then I found this video. Oh wow, you really sold it to me haha. A seriously good quality video. The Doxa marketing people really should have you on their team! Subbed.
Absolutely stunning video. Great videography, and very good text. Loved the drawings as well! I al very sure your channel will do very good! Proud to become a subscriber. Looking forward to more! Btw: Doxa is my favourite brand! The SUB 300 is the best in my opinion, but I love them all 😊
It’s a great review of a brand I’d heard of but never thought about- trying to find the best possible watch for less than a grand and this video has shot the Doxa into top spot! Subscribed to view your other reviews, keep up the good work 👍
Amazing macro shots, beautiful transitions and a great history lesson of a stunning dive watch icon! You just earned yourself a new subscriber. ;) I’m thinking of getting the Doxa Sharkhunter in December/January. How is the accuracy of the ETA-2824 in your Sub 200?
Thanks for the support Daniel! it' work in progress, I'm pretty sure in the near future I will become better on techiniques and storytelling. thanks for the encouraging feedback! In terms of accuracy, because I always switch to other watches from one day to another, i did not noticed any delays, it should be good due to the fact that it's an ETA 2824, but yes, it depends if it's regulated accordingly.
Another amazing video! I think you have really stepped up you game. Also, super cool intro! But you could perhaps hit the anvil a little harder with the hammer next time! 😜
Wow I'm glad I found this video looking for a Sub 200 review, I will buy the watch at the end of the month. Great job, well done, very informative! You have new subscriber ; )
Excellent review and nice watch. But I find myself really liking the style of the original watch it is a homage of. What a beauty. Would like to see the bezel style of the original on this new piece.
Yes, finally somebody who is able to show me the deng origional. Awesome, I have the blue version, love it. But a part of me was wondering if it was a omega rip-off afterall. Much, much appreciated!
Complimenti per il canale e la bellissima spiegazione!!! Ho visto il sub 200 ed è esattamente come lo hai descritto è bellissimo!! Lo compro per il mio compleanno. Grazie
Two brands which i have respect from historical aspects: one is Eterna, the other one is Doxa. I'd wear Doxa sub 200 both for casual and dressy occasions.
Right on time (nooo don’t go there, lol 😂) with this excellent video Andrei. I am looking for a first diver. I believe somehow Doxa is hooked up with Swatch. How do they access ETAs that have not been castrated down to 3 hertz? Anyway, I’m looking and this vid was helpful. Thanks! Michael
Really nice review and watch, they also have available great summer colors as well, lume quality seems poor it’s a shame, the rest of the watch looks high quality.
Amazing... Bro I have a question, I am about to buy one, on the Internet page of Doxa, I read that it said all prices include tax, what do you know about this? How much does it apply? Or what do you mean by this, I hope you can help me, greetings and excellent video 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
The aquamarine is flashy, I have that one as well. If you are looking for safer colors that can be easily matched with clothes, sharkhunter is the way to go. But if you like turquoise, and you grab it for the summer, that's the best :)
I raised this question with a " Hirsch " rep.. a 20mm strap will USUALLY fit a the 19mm. Not the bracelet,..(Obviously) but leather and rubber normally fit . Because they're natural materials, they can be compressed and if you just apply a little pressure (rub them on the desk a couple of times) and they should fit right in. I saw the same advice in a Hodinkee article..

Much better looking than the tudor black bay imo
Loved the intro! Thank you for sharing the history of the Doxa Sub 200 (and 11804-4)!
This was a remarkably well-done video! By far the best Sub 200 review I have ever seen. I am now a subscriber!
Welcome aboard Mark! Thank you :)

Dude! This is a wonderful production. How do you only have 1.14k subs??? Keep up the grind man, you'll definitely be big soon!
Thanks Aaron! Welcome aboard :) hopefully it will happen. yup

Haha JAWS! yes, I think somewhere in my ''drawers'' was stored this jaws experience and somehow tried to replicate it. :)

Beautifully produced video, you deserve more subscribers! Sweet watch too, tho I'd prefer it without the date. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Steve! it's not maybe the most appealing color or design but it respects the older model and I respect that :) kudos to doxa
@@BraveBeaters I like the colour more than Doxa's signature orange & the retro vibe, it's a really nice watch. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻
@@stevefox8605 thanks!

Hi, I was confused as well. I think to the actual amount of the website VAT will be added + shipping, meaning 19% extra I guess.
I have this Sharkhunter and i have Rolex Submariner but i prefer this Doxa 😂👍
Really debating between this one or the aquamarine

Andrei and TGV intros are in a whole other oevel

Love the Sub 200. But why did they give it that weird Lug Width ?
Hi, it's 19 mm, yes.
I raised this question with a " Hirsch " rep.. a 20mm strap will USUALLY fit a the 19mm. Not the bracelet,..(Obviously) but leather and rubber normally fit . @@ericgrace9995 I guess plan A may be to leave it on the BOR bracelet. That bracelet is really beautiful. It catches the light nicely.
They could have reissued the original 43mm watch ....timeless design.
Doxa sub200 vs Mido Oceanstar Tribute?
hmm, both are amazing. ocean star :)
@@BraveBeaters Thank you for replying!! I might have to rebuy the Oceanstar. It have been the only watch I truly regret selling.
I have the Doxa Professional and its clasp sucks. The bracelet is beautiful but for $2400 I would have a on the fly adjustment Tfit clasp 😢…..
Doxa released the 200T!
...and what is the Bezel-Insert? Alu? Cheese or Marshmallow? 🤣
Nu ma pot decide între doxa sub 200 și certina ds-2,ambele îmi plac enorm!
Salut, mai asteapta putin, putin cu DS-2. o sa vezi :)
I own a new 200 I wish it said sharkhunter on the dial!
Same here, would have expected to have a bit more text on the sundial, eventually to add the Shark - Hunter label.
I have the aquamarine on the way.
I wish it is under 40mm, 42mm is way too big for a vintage inspired watch…..so no for me.
In reality it wears really small. If feels like a 40 mm on the wrist
I just don't like the 19mm lugs and the fauxtina.
Your accent is a bit suspect. I wonder.
haha, indeed
Please help!!!! Doxa sub 200 or Super Squale brown
