  • WORLD's FIRST | Lies of P - All main bosses (NO EVERYTHING)
    - No damage/hit
    - No leveling up (base level 10 - Path of the Bastard: Dexterity class)
    - No upgrades (+0 weapon)
    - No P-Organ
    - No status effects (fire/acid/electric blitz)
    - No amulets
    - No fable arts
    - No items/consumables/throwing objects (except the Grinder because it's mandatory to repair the weapon with such low damage output)
    - No alter handle (infusions)
    - No legion arm
    - No special grindstone
    - Parry-focused: perfect guard & Two Dragons Sword charged heavy attack. Dodge was only used in Romeo's grab attack and specific situations of BRB2 and Simon Manus fights.
    Notes:
    - P-Organ is just shown at the end of the video because if I show it at the end of each fight, it would consume too much time with boring stuff. I have a video on my channel for each boss showing the P-Organ part. In this video, I just show the quartz I have and please note that these fights were recorded in different playthroughs so the number of quartz doesn't necessarily need to be in sync between fights.
    - Walker of Illusions does not need to be on this list (it's a mini-boss) but I've decided to add it because I really like this fight and the video I've done (broke both weapons) :)
    - Aggressive melee combat (no move away from any attack)
    - In some fights, I didn't even run/sprint (examples: Champion Victor, Corrupted Parade Master; others I just ran to the boss at the beginning of the fight)
    00:00 Intro
    00:30 Rules
    00:45 Parade Master
    01:56 Scrapped Watchman
    04:04 King's Flame, Fuoco
    06:22 Fallen Archbishop Andreus
    10:19 Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood
    15:21 Romeo, King of Puppets
    21:37 Champion Victor
    27:30 Green Monster of the Swamp
    33:25 Walker of Illusions
    36:24 Corrupted Parade Master
    39:18 Black Rabbit Brotherhood #2
    46:50 Laxasia the Complete
    53:09 Simon Manus

    A lot of people are asking how I'm perfect guarding if I'm holding L1 button. The simple answer is I'm not, I never hold L1 button. The P's animation misleads the viewer and seems that I'm holding L1 but I'm just quickly tapping it! That's how it works, after a perfect guard if we don't move, P keeps the guard up for some time :)
    Additional info: if P has already the guard up, we can keep perfect guarding even if stamina runs out. So when our stamina is low, it's good to don't move to be able to perfect guard long combos and don't care about stamina (just be careful about negative stamina). However, when the guard is up, stamina does not recover, so in some cases is better to move immediately after a perfect guard to recover stamina in between or keep the stamina filled up. This is something I have learned later and you don't see it being used in some of these boss fights (the ones I did first).
    98.7% of people who watched this video are not subscribed so I would ask you to consider doing it, it does not cost anything to you and it would mean a lot to me! If you like boss fights, I promise to bring to you amazing ones! Appreciate any support, thanks to all of you 😁

      I could make it seem more than what it is but we can reset to base level/stats after passing the first BRB fight (in the first patches was only after killing Champion Victor)! However, the majority of running sections between bosses we can simply run through and they are not as hard as the boss fights. And thanks :)

      @Omenify 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MugiwaraNoLima happy to be here, though i still don’t think you’re getting even nearly enough recognition you should for your skill level. i wasn’t keeping up with gaming for the last 6 months so it was a pleasant surprise to see you kind of blow up. and i still have notifications on :D
      anyway, wanted to ask you a few questions. how consistent are you when you are doing these no hits? for example, when i do a no hit, i just can’t seem to very consistent even though i know the boss movement very well and how to counter each attack so even after “mastering” the enemy, it sometimes takes me a couple hours before i get a no hit in. can’t seem to help it. do you have a similar problem? i assume not since you’re doing these no hits with as strict rules as you possibly can basically.
      second question. how do you deal with flurry attacks like romeo’s fire attack, for example? how do you practice them? do you keep a count in your head(for example, 1-delay-2,etc) or just replay that move until you automatically know how to parry it?

    • @MugiwaraNoLima
      @MugiwaraNoLima  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Omenify I believe with persistence and hard work, the recognition/success will end come to the ones who never gave up and believed in themselves :) Nice to hear that you still have the notifications, really appreciate it, thanks man!
      How consistently do I do "no hits"? Well, it depends on the restrictions that I want to go to a fight! If it's only "no hit" without any other restriction, I can do it pretty consistently. As far as my damage output is high, my consistency is also high! However, my consistency is slightly lower in Lies of P than in other souls games if I want to go for a parry-focused approach due to the 8-frame window, the timing/precision needs to be on point! However, if I want to use more dodge than perfect guard, my consistency increases as the s of a dodge are more forgiving! Also, with high damage output and using everything available in the game, it's possible to develop strategies where the fights are basically scripted! Regarding the "no everything" kills you see in this video, yes, it takes a couple/lot of hours to get that amazing shot even after you already passed the learning, trial and error, optimization and practice phases! With such low damage output, we need to know the entire move-set of the boss and how to deal/handle each one as the probability of the boss doing all the attacks he has at his disposal is high, so we can't pray for a good RNG haha As a perfectionist, I don't accept any "no hit", I don't tolerate committing mistakes and if I do, they need to be minor, otherwise, I restart/redo the fight haha So, it consumes even longer time! I did some live streams between September and November where I showed some of these phases and got some of these kills live in the stream (the others I got offline after the live stream on the same day or the morning of the next day) :)
      For Romeo's fire combo or other similar attacks, I like to find visual (or even audio) cues that indicate to me when each attack comes and find the rhythm/pattern of the combo, for example, the first 6 hits are just the first 3 hits repeated twice and the 7th and 8th hits are pretty close to the 6th hit, so 3 perfect guards in a short time! Another thing, when his weapon is not broken, it's a 10-hit combo but when it's broken it's a 7-hit combo! The difference between the 10-hit and 7-hit combos is just removing the first 3 hits of the 10-hit combo because the first 6 hits are just the first 3 hits repeated twice as said above haha After you know what to do and recognize the visual cues/pattern/rhythm, it's just a question of repeating it until you develop a good muscle memory where you don't even need to think or focus much :)

    • @Omenify
      @Omenify 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MugiwaraNoLima thanks for the reply and the insight! always fun to talk with someone way better than me in these games haha. your resilience and effort definitely show in these videos. it's almost as if a robot is playing - maximum aggression, no openings missed, everything parried. very pleasing to watch. also i saw you were going live but i didn't tune in because i started lies of p only 2 weeks ago and didn't want to spoil much.
      back to the consistency, were you this consistent when you started doing these challenges or is it something that has come to you with time? i'm asking this because it seems my consistency has plateaued. it definitely is far better than when i first started playing these games but now, for example, when i start learning a boss, after a couple hours or even less i'll stop progressing at a certain boss almost completely. this is way bigger of a problem in lies of p because i don't find this game as intuitive as sekiro or pretty much any other fromsoft game due to the reason that this game heavily relies on delayed attacks, paused attacks then sudden speeds ups etc and on top of that add the small parry window. for example, at a certain time of the learning process of a boss i'll get my consistency of one attack to about 99% success rate, then some other to 95%, then some harder to 80% etc but i never get them all close to 100% which is why i can't even think about adding heavy restrictions to my no hit runs.
      for some reason, i didn't think much about looking for visual cues in this game specifically and mostly relied on my internal clock and memorization(like i mentioned in the previous comment - 1-delay-2,etc) when to parry because i felt for the most part there weren't any obvious one's to look for due to the sudden speed ups, pauses and all that mentioned above in contrast to something like sekiro where they didn't take much memorization and could be consistently parried on reflexes alone. anyway, do you slow down the footage to look for the cues or notice them as you are just fighting the boss? again, thanks for the insight!

    • @MugiwaraNoLima
      @MugiwaraNoLima  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Omenify like a robot? haha I think that's the best compliment I could receive, thanks for that :) completely understand about the spoilers, I would do the same!
      No, I was not this consistent when I started! In the beginning, I was more focused on getting the "no hit" quickly, rushing every step in between, I just wanted the final result and lacked the willingness to go through the process of knowledge-gathering to achieve a better result and performance in the long run! I was not investing enough time really learning or understanding how I could mess up with RNG according to our positioning, I was not exploring different ways to optimize the fight or different approaches for each scenario, and I was not paying attention to the details as I mentioned in the other comment: searching visual/audio cues, looking to the boss stance, study boss's body language that could make me quickly recognize or even predict the next move! When I felt that I was not improving much on a fight, I was just accepting it, not trying harder, not thinking smarter/critique, etc Nowadays, when I feel that I'm not improving, I take a step back and analyze why I'm not improving, where or when I'm failing, there is always an answer, and yes, recording your own gameplay and watch a specific clip multiple times, slowing down the footage or even pause, or even go frame by frame to find the exact timing of each action helps a lot! For example, compare a clip of a successful perfect guard to one that you failed (for the same attack) and you didn't understand why, try to look for details, when was the moment you pressed L1 in both situations, when the attack came, where or how was the boss weapon, handle, hands, feet, head, anything that makes your brain associate that is the exact moment to press L1! Of course, there are other situations that the successful rate comes with the training of our internal clock :)

    just so you know, the liquid in Green Monster's 1st phase can be perfect-guarded four times at evenly spaced intervals, and there doesnt seem to be a downside to it either. Even builds up stagger and flinching like more "solid" perfect-guards
    edit: just to clarify, the attack at 27:39

    • @MugiwaraNoLima
      @MugiwaraNoLima  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah I know, I did that multiple times but it didn't happen in this video! I was only in doubt in regards to stagger build up and that's good to know however I still think is more effective punishing during the vomit! To be honest, this is the only attack I didn't care much to master the perfect guard because of what I said before and because I could control RNG to avoid it completely if I kept myself always close to Green Monster (normally I fight pressuring him against the wall so he can't step back and create space between me and him)! In so many attempts, this was a very rare occasion that he did the vomit because I committed the mistake of punish with 1 hit more before he stepped back (he still had some space in his back because it was the beginning of the fight), which made me to took longer to shorten the distance and unluckily RNG decided for this attack haha

    Great work!
    I had no idea you could parry the King's fan attack like 16:46. I thought it was a fancy grab.
    It's comforting to know that even on a god run nobody can be bothered to actually parry-fight the three small BRB members. With their stupid projectiles in the second fight it seems luck based, but is there anything besides getting snowploughed by the Eldest that keeps it from being practical in the first one?

    • @MugiwaraNoLima
      @MugiwaraNoLima  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, we can parry that King's fan attack, not an easy one though :) there are a few grab attacks that we can parry, for example the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster at 30:31, 31:01 or 31:59! In regards to parrying the 3 small BRB members, yeah that can be done, it's doable, but it would consume much more time learning/practicing to get really consistent on a slow damage fight like this. I was used to parry some of their attacks during practice and even in some real attempts, Eccentric is not hard to parry all his attacks, but not the same case for the other two! The most suitable approach to battle stalkers/NPCs is through backstabs. Maybe something I can put on my backlog of to-do challenges :) and thanks man!

      Glad that you noticed it, I was begging to Green Monster to do that attack because I wanted to include it in the video haha (there are fights where he does it multiple times, RNG-related). I consistently perfect guard it, so satisfying to do it and cool to watch! Here I only perfect guard 4 of the hits of that flurry attack because Green Monster was close to the wall and backed out a bit, so I couldn't perfect guard the final attack of the combo as I was far away for it! I also wanted to include the ground attack's parry of the first phase, but RNG didn't want it on this fight haha And thanks :)

    • @MugiwaraNoLima
      @MugiwaraNoLima  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I just saw your edit, the hardest part of this video was maybe Simon Manus 2nd phase :) First because it's so long (seems an endurance fight), second because his moveset is complex (many different attacks/combos that require quick reading/reaction), third because it has similar attacks of phase 1 but different timings, fourth because there are cooldowns when the Arm of God comes from the sky or where he uses magic/spells, and fifth because it was not as fun as Nameless Puppet, Laxasia or Romeo :)

    This is an amazing demonstration of skill!
    I was planning to do a lv1 no upgrade (maybe no p-organ) run and wondering if it was doable, now I'm sure it is!
    Do you have any tips to practice parry time or something to practice bosses besides manually doing a save backup (to fight them again)?

    • @MugiwaraNoLima
      @MugiwaraNoLima  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      First, let me thank you for your comment and wish you good luck with your run :) Then, well, it's not easy to help on this matter but I leave some good advices below:
      1. Reset your level and invest almost everything in vitality to allow you to get hit multiple times without dying and some in capacity to allow you to carry more weight and add defense parts without being too heavy
      2. Use amulets to increase HP, restore HP continuously, recover stamina faster and increase the weight limit
      3. For P-Organ skills & slots, invest in enhancing guard regain recovery, lowering guard regain reduction, perfect guard regain recovery (important to recover HP with parries without attacking), auto charge pulse cells when discharged, add amulets slots, increase pulse cells and enhance their recovery, enhance perfect guard destruction, lower weapon durability consumption and increase weapon durability recovery speed
      This way you can be on the fight longer and practice more efficiently.
      Then, you need to practice a lot to get used to the exact timing that you need to parry each attack, try to take visual and audio cues, like taking a mental photo of something that informs you that is the moment to press guard button or the moment that the attack comes. Each attack is different and in some attacks maybe is the boss weapon that gives us the visual cue, or the handle, or the legs, or the head, or the stance etc). Other important thing is knowing the combos based on the boss's stance in order to know what comes next (body language) and which follow-ups can occur. Final note: just quickly tap the L1 button, don't hold it :)

Immersion in a game always diminishes for me when the attacks of a boss who is heavier, stronger and many times the size of the protagonist can be blocked with a slender stick of metal. Furthermore, it angers me when I beat a boss and it then has a second wind or a transformation into a different boss; that always feels to me as though the developers are cheating.

      The P's animation misleads the viewer and seems that I'm holding L1 button but I'm just quickly tapping L1 (I never hold it)! That's how it works, after a perfect guard if you don't move, P keeps the guard up for some time :) You can try by yourself mate and see!

    I am playing my first run and I encountered a boss called Door Guardian but I don`t see him in the guide, is the boss optional?

      It's not optional but it's considered a mini-boss, and this video only contains the (all) main bosses! Despite Walker of Illusions being a mini-boss too, I've decided to include it because I really like this fight and the video I've done (broke both weapons) :) You can check more details here: liesofp.wiki.fextralife.com/Bosses
