Watts is a great listen. One of the better story tellers out there. Bring him back.

I thought this interview was great. Erik has had a crazy life in the Rasslin World. Being brought up in the biz, 2nd gen, WCW heat magnet, raised by the Cowboy. Glad he managed to keep his Sanity through it all. Now, all we need is more stories...Great Job James!!!

Erik Watts is hilarious, a great storyteller and his memory is sharp as a tack. I imagine the people who dunk on him are oblivious to this side of him.
I know I was till now.
Also, his message at the end was incredible. He really hit the nail on the head. Thanks Erik and thank you James for doing this and bringing Erik on.

Erik Watts was literally the only reason my friend and i ordered those early NWA-TNA shows.

If you didn't know better you might think Erik Watts was bigger than Hulk Hogan.

What the hell is Erik talking about? Does anybody remember these crowd reactions that Erik says he was getting? I don't remember this glorious TNA run he was talking about. I don't remember him setting the house on fire with his feud with Arn. Hogan didn't beat Goldberg. This guy is a habitual liar and a legend in his own mind. He sucked. Heels hated working with him because they would get cheered because the fans hated Erik Watts.

That was after he was going to be drafted before Jon Gruden. And well after he stretched Rick Rude in the locker room

If only you could buy Erik watts for what he’s worth and sell him for what he thinks he’s worth
Pops bigger than Goldberg during his undefeated run and DDP coming in demanding to work with Erik Watts…lmfao ok buddy 🤣😂
Also was a terrible QB. There’s was a better chance of hell freezing over than him (6 TD/16 INT for a 2-9 Louisville team) getting drafted

On funniest person, he says a lot of people would say him. In all these interviews by James I've seen, I've never heard anyone say Eric Watts.

Im deadass serious. I do not remember him beating up Jeff Jarrett in tna. I only remember him being the most entertaining part of those shows and how he got in one of those female co hosts pants.
My best friend and i would be like "how did they NOT show THIS Erik Watts before?!?!"

Goldbergs streak ended 5 months after beating Hogan and it was broken by Nash.
With all Rude stories I've heard, never has Watts beating him up ever come up.
This guy has the credibility of a $3 bill.
The interview was a bad look for Watts.

What that story has been around for ages. Whatever Eric is or was he was actually a decent amateur wrestler. He took Rude down and Rude could do nothing once down .

    • @jrod7639
      @jrod7639 ปีที่แล้ว

Eric may not even had to take him down I think Rude was boasting noone could put him on his back from all fours. Eric maybe should have just left it alone . Especially because he was new and Watts son ,but he didn't and showed up Rick

I think he was confusing the story regarding Luger. He mentions the 100 episode and Hogan winning it back. Confused the order of Nitro and PPV.

While this was highly entertaining, he's slightly delusional, during the last man standing at the bar question I laughed when he initially said himself, then when it turned out he thought the question was about fighting made it even more laughable, Watts was 195 soaking wet in WCW, and his constant story he always tells that he beat Rude in a backstage fight.... yep of course you did mate....
