Thanks Cynthia. I recently started learning the ukulele and you're by far the best teacher I've had. Learnt a lot from you. Thanks for sharing your art with us, may life treat you with kindness everyday!
Thank you, Cynthia Lin, after almost a year of sort of learning and practicing the ukelele during quarantine , I can play thru the whole song with you. This song was my goal from the beginning. It feels so good!
Not only was this beautiful...it was beautifully filmed and edited both sound and picture. Cynthia, I am happy that this is what you've chosen and I am grateful for the way you teach.
Hi Cynthia, thanks for sharing it. You look great! I've been following your work for at least three years now, and it's always a pleasure to see how you put yourself into your work. Please, continue sharing your knowledge with us. Best wishes from Brazil!
I heard this song for the first time a couple of months ago and I can’t get it out of my mind. Thanks for this great uke version. I am trying to play it on my uke and sing it. Your tutorial was also great. I guess the song kind or reminds me of myself growing up in Hawaii and being kind of a loaner.
I am about to post my uke cover of this a little later today! I LIVE IN THE BAY AREA! I have totally been to and through that station. I would have loved to run into seeing you record this!! It's really amazing what you did with the audio editing of the train station and recording the song still very clearly.
A year into Ukulele, this 'non musician' is especially enjoying the Play-Alongs!! I do play-along with them; they are the opportunity for me to learn a whole song, given I can't sing (carry a tune). The Play-Along carries my voice and I depend on it for the timing and phrasing, and I love that the whole song is included without stop. Thank you so much, and let's have more of these Play-Alongs!
This was an amazing cover! I really felt this way down deep in my soul. I think anyone can pinpoint a time in their lives where this was a song they could relate to. Amazingly beautiful my friend!!
Hi Cynthia, I just wanted to thank you for uploading all these intuitions. I've only been playing uke for a week and thanks to you I can actually play a couple of songs already. 😘
Never ever heard this song before after seeing this video I am absalutely hooked. You are just amazing Cynthia. You are a source of light in my life. ❤❤❤❤ Thank you for being you. From Australia
I know this is an older comment, but in case you check in, you should look up Justin Crum singing Creep (well, a shortened version anyway) on American Idol. It’s heart-wrenching!! I have been binge-watching Cynthia’s vids, but I had to pause and look this back up! Cheers from Canada! 🇨🇦
Hi! I learned how to play the ukelele from your videos and already have my first gig playing Stand by Me in a castle in Germany for roughly 100 people. It will be during a seminar about finding your inspiration. And I just started learning at Christmastime. I guess you could say I fell deep for the uke! Thanks for the great and inspiring work that you do! You’re an excellent teacher and artist. ps-Creep is one of my favorite songs and I think your cover brings that melancholy over in an interesting way. I like how the uke adds that unique twist. Awesome job with the video too! 👏
Aloha Cynthia , Love all your Tutorials . I haven't picked up a Ukulele since Back home on the Aina, and now I'm motivated playing Ukulele again. Moved here to the SF Bay Area a Few years ago and Funny Kine, I Live near that G.P BART Station where you filmed at. Awesome!! Question? , I like Try purchase one of your Beautiful signature Ukulele. You get website ? Try let me know, Mahalo Nui Cynthia. Aloha, Braddah Rick
Hi Cynthia, been following you for a long time now, and not only playing along to Creep with you, but also singing along with you too. I have noticed I seem to have one tone higher than you. I sing slightly higher pitched. What note is that please? I am new to playing any instrument, or singing, or knowing about Notes etc. but you have inspired me with the Uke! Love all your videos. Watched every single one of them. Many thanks. Love from Scotland, X.
Great cover! One thing I don't understand though - it looks like you are fingerpicking only the top G and C strings, but fretting C, Cmaj etc., Does holding these chords on the lower strings actually do anything if you are only plucking the top strings?
Cindy please help. Can't find a video on how to play wang dang doodel on ukulele!!! it's a really great blues song and I think alot of people would have fun with it!!!
That's my favourite Radio Head song and you play it well. I must practice along side your video to improve my own playing.. What make and model of ukulele were you using? The acoustics sound good. And are there any particular make of strings that you use?
You just keep amazing me with the range and variety of songs you perform on your ukulele....and they all sound fabulous!!!! I’m just learning to play- your videos and tutorials have made such a difference in keeping me motivated (not to mention helping me to learn!!) I have to tell you, your teaching style is so user friendly. I find I learn more and more quickly with your videos than any others I’ve tried. So, pleeeease keep them coming. And thank you!!! Oh, if you’re looking for another song to do a tutorial- please think about “I think I’ll just stay here and drink” by Merle haggard. Check out Tristan prettyman’s cover version. I’d love to hear your take on it!!!
Hi Ms. Lin! Can you please do a tutorial on "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None The Richer. I LOVE that song but everyone tutorials aren't as helpful as I would like. Please do it....I'm BEGGING o.o
itʻs [ d d D d ] per chord - check my comment above to download the chord chart, it includes the fingerpicking pattern and strum pattern. i also have a full tutorial!
I always imagine this song is the voice of an adolescent male having zero success with girls (yes that was me as a youngster) so it's interesting to hear it played by a woman. Great cover, and I can just about play along 😊
Thumbs up for all the weirdos 🤪Download a free chord chart here and play along! bit.ly/CreepChordChart

Oh wow Cynthia!!! Excellent. Love the location and I love the people just walking by!
Mahalo, Rich! It wasn’t easy to shoot but it was definitely exciting!
I was expecting someone to throw down coins :-). But seriously, it's odd that the passing people seemed to be paying so little attention
Not only was this beautiful...it was beautifully filmed and edited both sound and picture. Cynthia, I am happy that this is what you've chosen and I am grateful for the way you teach.
I forget this is a play along and just sit back and enjoy your performance.
