I get why people like the V8 but i honestly dont wanna wake up my whole block and have everyone spooked when they hear my car turn on or drive off.. i rather have the V6. but V8 is the real deal.

I can afford an rt or a scat, but I live in Canada, where it snows for half the year, so an AWD GT is the best choice. Looks nice too. If they made the RT AWD, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Love mine, it’s great on gas and way faster than my last car a 350z. Plus I drove my friends RT Challenger, it was great but I don’t regret a V6 Charger.
In absolutely no way is a GT faster than a 350Z, unless you can't drive a stick. While the power and torque are similar, the GT weighs around 800 lbs more.
@@a2xs60 it was not stick... it was a DE convertible too. The Z was much quicker off the line but the Pentastar V6 and 8 speed combo you can really wind it out.
The auto makes it easier. It takes the human error out. The convertible also doesn't matter. It's 3479 lbs, the GT weighs 4205 lbs. The GT, if you're lucky is barely getting in the 14's in the quarter.
@@a2xs60 charger has more horse power, both almost the same torque, 350 is lighter but the tie breaker stock for stock is the 8 speed transmission the charger has. 350 loses top end.
Traded in my 2009 SXT and got the SXT plus with the super track pack that looks like this car on the outside. I got the leather and vented and heated front seats, soooo nice!!! Love this ride! Not sure how my car is different from a GT.
Just picked up a 2020 GT about 2 months ago. Of course I wanted an 8 originally but chose the fuel efficiency and AWD because of the winters up here. Love it, no regrets so far. And thanks for showing me the drag and drop. Haha
Nice review! Im definitely considering getting one of these sometime in the future. My previous car was a 08 Infiniti G37 coupe with a 3.7 v6 and it had plenty of power for driving in my little Kentucky town. I’m on a Chevy truck now but nothing beats the feeling of a nice car! The GT looks great and has a respectable amount of power! A 370 horsepower RT is nice but I definitely don’t need that kind of power where I live!

As for how well they hold up long term, I think they are pretty good. Dodge/Mopar can certainly have some issues, but I personally haven’t had any with all my dodge vehicles. It’ll definitely vary, but I don’t believe it will have huge problems anytime now or in the near future.

You can't mod your car with a lifetime warranty. That's why you buy a car that is a great daily driver and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg for replacement parts. Hence the GT charger also great for more than one passenger. My name isn't really Sandra Koehler BTW.

Chargers and Challengers aren't sports cars. They are muscle cars. I'm also not sure where a Camry fits in either. It's not a sports car either. The GT is fine for what it is; a good looking sedan, but it lacks all the characteristics of anything resembling a muscle car.

I did resonator delete and straight pipe on my 2016 sxt. An it sounded kinda like a honda. Annoying. Just got a 2020 gt. Its quiet now. An peace full. Still wsnt the rumble without the honda raspyness. Not sure its possible.
yeah it’s hard to find a decent exhaust system for them but their are decent ones, it won’t ever sound like a v8 (Other than the idle) but for a more aggressive sound, just have to really do your research

Upgraded suspension, (scatpacks sit about an inch lower all around), different front end, wheels, tires, all the performance options, different drive modes, line lock, launch control. Obviously having the 6.4l V8 being the main difference. Basically everything but the side skirts, and rear bumper are different.

The R/T and even 392 are pretty quiet from the factory. Your not going to bother anyone with a stock exhaust.
Both the rt and the scatpack are very quiet until you activate the active exhaust
