- I ran into this issue where none of my steam games would work, and after about a week of looking around I figured it out. I decided it would be a good idea to put all the different methods I learned into one video. Like a one stop shop, wouldn't you say?

This is such an informative and easy guide to use. If it doesn't work, then something is probably seriously wrong. I've had a bunch of unfixable problems with games, such as GTA V not logging in

I like how he does many different steps. Instead of naming one way you can try it like many other videos do, he names many other ways. This was very informational. I'm still at the "big guns" so My R6S could work.
I still have the same problem with Skullgirls ever since I upgraded to windows 10
I have an additional fix to suggest.
Sometimes, a Windows update might interfere with a Unity-based game's ability to communicate with your graphics card. If your problems are limited to Unity games running on Windows, right click anywhere on your desktop background and select Graphics Options (or settings). Then, tell your graphics card to maintain the aspect ratio by default when booting up an application.

So uhh I installed a script hook file on my gta v. And it won’t load. So I deleted all my gta v files. And now I’m trying to recover them.

Maneater froze on me for every Apex Predator title screen. What fixed it is uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
Unfortunately, it didn't fix the whole glitch. It only fixed the one I was working on.
It works, but you'll have to do it multiple times.
It didn't delete my save files.

You can try to go into the task manager and find the game in the list and click it and hit end task and try again

That's very strange, try re-logging into the account or ask the family member to check the settings and to make sure you're still permitted on it. I know that there is settings where you can disable family sharing.

i have a different problem which this video i dont think is meant for. i have this game called totally accurate battle simulator. in the game you can make custom stages and stuff like that. you can also SAVE the stages and heres the problem. when i save the stages. they dont save. it must be something with it saving on a different file then the one im using to play the game. to be honest. i have no idea

Dont realy know but the games still didnt work so I sent it to a friend of mine and he found out it wasnt the software or anything and there was a missing piece on my motherboard wich allowed correct flow into the graphics card. Idk if this helps at all

i literally have this problem , i start up my game on steam and i go to task manager and its not even on apps or background processes, but when i launch my game and i close steam [not completely] i see it in task manager.

Hey, LaunchGaming! I followed all of your steps and none of them worked for this specific game I have. Every other game works completely fine but this one just won't work. I've tried all day yesterday to open it with numerous guides including your's. Do you have any other advice?

I've tryed everything you said in this video but nothing works. The game that I have trouble with is brick rigs. When I press play it says that it's running until you close it with the task manager. I have noticed that a lot of people have trouble with this game , Do you think that it happens because of a bad patch or something. Should I refound it until they fix it or should I seek help?
Looking into common issues with the game, it looks like putting "-windowed" in the start options might fix it. If not, try to look more into it and if its still not working, you may want to refund it because like you said it could just be a poorly optimized game. But, thats just personal preference.
I bought GTA IV on Steam, and whenever I try to launch it, it will show me the product code, then I hit play and Rockstar Social Club comes on asking if I want to link my other accounts (in which I already did), and I'd hit play again. Nothing will happen. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it, and the same problem occurs. I have no idea what to do.
Try putting in a new account, see if its just an account issue.

i tried getting ruby's mod for halo 2 on pc in mcc. it took me hours get the nexus account, setting up vortex, downloading the mod and figure out to apply and install the mod. campaign started just fine until Sargent johnson was telling chief to wear something nice. crashed every attempt. i uninstalled the mod to find out that halo 2 doesn't load anymore. it just sits there for bit before it closes out completely.

I get this error message when I tried running BO3, COD WW2, GTA V.

I was, my issue ended up being a bad graphic card driver. The next update could very well as fix them. Just check all of your drivers just in case.

My computer was affected a virus. So after backing up and formatting it, rainbow six isn't working. It says running and again becomes blue. Every other game jsut works fine. Help please!
Sounds like its an issue the the graphic drivers, you may need to re-install them
When I open up my "userdata" folder, there's no 730 folder. Is that a bad thing? What else can I do?
So I’m having this problem where i start a game, planet coaster, and then steam says that the game is running however the game doesn’t appear. In task manager there is no sign of the game not even in background tasks? I tried all the methods in the video and so far nothing.
Have you tried to open the game directly from the .exe file, or deleting the exe file and repairing the folder?
Launch Gaming i managed to fix the issue. Within system configurations(msconfig) inside the boot tab there is an advanced options button within that you can limit the amount of cores on ur cpu. For some unknown reason mine was default to 1 core when my cpu has 4. Thx for the help anyway:)

Some of my games won't launch because the file steam_api.dll isn't there, but there's one game that worked fine until one day it stopped randomly. No error code or anything. How could I fix both of these?
Try checking all of your drivers and updates for everything.
