When I heard you mentioning La Palma, I thought: would it finally be someone referring to "La Palma, the Island". There are more La Palma's around on those islands and never before I've seen a cycling vid on the actual island. I've been to La Palma many years ago (with a rental car, not a bike unfortunately) and absolutely loved it! The sunny west coast with pines and bananas is great and then there is the 'old Spanish classic town' East side, the volcanic South and the rough rocky "dragon tree" North. With a 2500? meter summit with observatory and all... So sad I actually could see the place we stayed near Puerto Naos being eaten by the lava on the latest outburst (and only by 30 meters or so). Anyway: thrilled to see your experiences, when doing some Komoot "what if" tests I saw it was going to be steep. Love the conentt!
I've heard that one way people track their bikes when flying or just checking it, is to put an Air Tag or Tile in the bike the under the saddle or in the saddle bag. There are so many baggage handlers with smartphones and wifi antenna these days that it gets picked up and you can see if it is left behind it it has made the trip with you. One cycling TH-camr even found his bag in the offices of an airline, when no one else could locate it!
Have enjoyed your series of videos, but don’t feel comfortable with the the verbiage that is not family-friendly. It is obvious what word/s referred to.
So inspiring how you overcome all the obstacles on this trip!
Love how energetic you guys are
