I fucking LOVE this film. Among my top 3 favorite horror films. And I am 100% CONVINCED that "Event Horizon" is the prequel to "Warhammer 40k," covering mankind's first interaction with The Warp.
My favorite Cooper moment has to be when Dr. Weir is explaining the gravity drive, and laurance fisbourne asks to have it explained in "laymens terms" and Cooper chimes in "Fuck laymens terms, Do you speak English?!" 😂
The hallway to the engine room, it's a meat grinder. The green corridor reminds me of 2001 when HAL is being disconnected. And one picky thing for me, related to the foley effects, are the sounds of the punches during the last fist fight. They could have handled that just a wee bit better.
I mean it could be a stretch but considering the space station in the end does turn into a giant puzzle box. It could theoretically work. It would be a better crossover than other movies have attempted.
Oh how much I loved this movie when it came out! Just the right balance of the horror and psychological. Also, I'm a short guy. There were a few tall servers in the restaurant I would work in and use the "hot and black" line on. Works like a charm! 🤣 I love the reviews, guys! Good job as always. Keep it coming.

Me too and my favorite metal band had tons of sound clips from the movie
I think the gravity drive would make an awesome lego set
Oh shit that would be awesome!

I need to listen to those more closely. As we said, probably because they rushed. Good point about the engine room.
@@blabbercast well you did catch that one Looney Tunes sound that I missed!
@@cyrollan That was weird, I am going to check out the scene you mentioned soon.
Oooohhhhh fuuuuuuck yes, this movie is AMAZING.
Do you think this movie could fit into the hellraiser universe? Considering they did hellraiser:bloodlines which was particularly set in space.
Hmm.. I need to watch that again, but that may actually fit.

Best line ever!
Masterpiece
It had some good scenes the gore and the concept was sound ... but the writing and execution was lacking and weak. Too bad.
But great introspective❤
