I’ve been looking up videos on removing door cards. I’ve been looking on TH-cam for a couple hours. Thank you for including that portion in the video. I also enjoyed the rest on the mirror install and have became a subscriber.

I need a swan mirror now. Only difference I would have done is put self etching primer around the holes you made then primer to seal the bare metal up. Besides that awesome custom mirror install.

Do you know the color of your paint? I bought a 2002 about 8 months ago and I’m convinced the previous owner saw your videos and decided to use the exact same color blue when he restored it. Maybe you mention it in a different video.

@PocketsMcCloud I don't know... it was that colour when my cousin got it and I haven't found anything in the docs that came with the car. It's not a BMW colour, just some custom mix.

JB Weld - exactly what I thought when you presented the problem :)

Love the car, just subbed, and eerie timing. I’m about to add a side mirror to my own 2002. TH-cam’s suggestions are freaky! Cheers!

Cool car. I have a 69 2002 with a swan neck, and the base gasket took me a long time to find. Coupe King in LA ended up having one.

Cool stuff... I'll check that out. The print is pretty good, but a factory peice would be ideal.

Albert mirror...Nice! Ohh you might want to put a water barrier between metal door and interior trim panel board.

Good idea... my cards need a lot of work, but I hadn't considered that. Just gotta figure out how to restore the chrome trim.
