my only problem with what i see from this.. is WAY too many icons.. WAY too many things to possibly keep check of. like 20 different symbols on the bad guys and stuff.
I think as long as they provide a set of quick reference cards for players it is not to bad. I was surprised how fast I picked this one up, but I also understand how frustrating it can be if not done right. Thanks for watching and posting.
"brand new"? It's a sequel. First game had some neat ideas, but the gameplay was largely trash. So much die rolling. All of the quests that occur were completely random and varied in difficulty (none of them were easy), and some quests forced players to undertake specific task with the character they play who isn't suited for that kind of task at all. Some of the characters were rubbish for most tasks. There were also things missing in the game, like places where the bodies should be placed, and lootable containers were hard to see on the boards. Since the first game was such a bust I don't feel a sequel will fair better by much.
Thanks for watching and posting. I own the first game, but have not played it so I can't really comment on some of the issues you had with it. It sounds like there was a lot of mistakes made and they didn't do a good job double checking all the components before going to the printers. The prototype I have only has the sandbox version of the game so I don't know how the campaign plays and if they addressed any of those issues from the first game. My experience with it so far though as been good. The characters seem balanced and I haven't run into any daily nightmare scenarios my characters can't handle so far. I understand getting burned on a game and not wanting to back more projects from those companies.
@@LearntoPlayGames Good to know they learned from their previous mistakes. Hope people will enjoy it. I'm lacking on the funds and friends to both obtain and play currently. I blame all of those other games that have taken my bank account (like Monster Hunter: World, Kingdom Death Monster, etc).
@@Kindlesmith70 Yes the First Version was buggy from the hell :) but with some help from BGG Users it is really good playable What i see here is sooooooo sad :( many cool things like the Warden walks through the field (now on the Cards) or the individual Memory Cards from each character are missing in this version. The Artwork is more Comic :( in the first Edition it was darker and cooler... maybe takes the streamlinging too much coolness out of the game but i will see :) I have the All In Lobotomy 2 currently next to me and i hope its cool :) the Characters are :D (here in the Video were Wonder Woman and Gandalf played :D )

Can a solo player, pick just one character to play? Or is this zombicide like, where you need to handle more than 1 character, even solo to play?

I liked the game up until I saw that all characters are shitty pop culture references
