I'm no expert but an electronics guy told me those tubes change the sound after they get old after many hours of playing ,I know the stock ones aren't everyone's sound but I switched brands ,and it does sound a tad bit different.
@@jrock-xs9vp… in hifi systems, we chase after NOS tubes from the 40s and 50s. It’s madness (the price) but there is a difference. Tubes in the preamp section will last easily 3,000 - 4,000 hours at the very least.
Yes … a tube is in a very loose sense a ‘voltage regulator’. Regulates a certain voltage to amplify the signal and to send the right signal. But don’t confuse that with voltage regulation tubes such as the 5AR4 etc. That is used to purely regulate/rectify voltage in a tube amplifier instead of a diode regulator/rectifier.
So when a fuse is blown it's due to having a bad tube so the tube is a voltage regulator in a sense ?

That casing is not a protector but rather to reduce vibration from the speaker from affecting the tube. 😬
Thanks for the Video
No problem I’m rocking the Tx600 now
Your welcome I got rid of it now I have the TX 600
I’m changing the tube in an Lah1000. It only has one tube
I believe there’s two in there one on each side
Cambiarla por una jj,the best
