I would repurchase Reveal by CK. I surely wouldn’t repurchase Mon Paris by YSL- too sweet, too sour. I have too many frags, so I think I‘m not gonna repurchase any honestly. My alltime favorite is Eternity by CK. I rarely wear it, but it has to be in my collection like for the rest of my life 💜

I finally got a sample of Baccarat Rouge 540 and I was not impressed! It smells like Ariana Grande Cloud and Burberry Her Intense...which I already own. Glad I sampled it first before leaping out and blind buying due to all the hype....there are much better perfumes out there besides 540!
Yes!! I totally agree. I think the quality is top notch but as for the scent itself I’m not falling over myself for it.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one not liking Bacarrat Rouge 540 😁😁 I just don’t get the hype. On me it smells like hospital ward, I sprayed it on my partner and 3 of my friends, they all agreed it is a weird, unpleasant fragrance, mix of medicine and candy floss 🤣🤣
I’m also happy that mila le blanc doesn’t get the hype; she says she prefers Burberry her which is very similar.

I'm a nurse. BR 540 is betadine and latex to my nose. Smells like surgery or a treatment room, but interestingly, I like and own Burberry Her and Arianna Grande Cloud. I guess those two fragrances have toned down the medicinal smell but still smell similar.
I had purchased a part bottle of AG Cloud before geting a sample of BR540 to compare it with......all I could smell in both was an awful sort resin smelll....no sweetness or anything else at all....I hated them both x
@@bellathereader1328 this is exactly how I feel about ari cloud. I love both the cloud and intense but cannot stand BR540 on me personally…has something I found hard to put into words but I think you totally called it.
It’s definitely a case of when the dupes have better profiles than the original.
Yes..Wonderlust is soo good ..Every one you stated to repurchase and to not relurchase..I totally agree with..my scent sister aside from Mademoiselle I have a hard time with it..great video
I agree - lot of hype of certain perfumes, as truth is, they smell different on each person. Better to go and smell them first in shop, then buy.

I’m a new subscriber and I noticed how often Alien is mentioned in your videos so I was very anxious to smell it. I smelled it for the first time today and OH EM GEE. I am honestly obsessed. I purchased it right away and the sale lady was a huge fan as well. She sprayed it on my arm about 3 hours ago?? And I haven’t stopped sniffing my arm. I’m pretty sure my husband and daughter of sick of me talking about it bc I haven’t stopped. 🤦🏽♀️😂 I can’t wait to wear it!!
yay! I'm so happy you ended up loving it! For me it certainly wasn't a love at first sniff. It took some time to fall for it but now I'm OBsessed.
Oh my! I have so many bottles of perfumes and keep buying new ones. I don't know if I'll ever finish a bottle and therefore wonder if I need to repurchase it. Unless they go bad which will probably mean I bought to much in the first place.

I went to a fragrance outlet today and FINALLY got to smell Olympea! I randomly asked her to let me smell rebl fleur and Olympea looked over and she handed them to me and I didn’t know which was which at first. I actually liked rebl fleur more! Maybe because I’m trying to branch out of the sweet but Olympea is gorgeous! Literally salted caramel!
I have repurchased Viva la juicy gold couture a few times and I will always keep on repurchasing it. I have repurchased Lanvin Marry me too.

I think you'd love the narcisso red bottle (rouge) it's so intoxicating and gorgeous but then narcisso does an incredible job of musc fragrances!

yes! it's fun to figure out what you really love and re-home ones you don't. No point in holding onto something you don't absolutely love.
What about Poison Girl? This scent reminds me of orange and almond cake, and I enjoy it. It is sweet, cosy, long-lasting and sultry, but not overpowering. I wear it on Autumn/Winter days and all-year-round evenings.
Top Notes: Sicilian bitter orange
Middle Notes: May rose from Grasse and Damascus rose
Base Notes: Venezuelan tonka bean, Sri Lankan Sandalwood, tolu balm and vanilla
For Hypnotic Poison EDP, it's like a spiced vanilla bomb and it's heavy.
To be honest, these fragrances may not be for everyone.
I was at the mall today and stepped into Sephora and sampled Miss Dior Edp. At first I didnt think much of it, as I smelled it from the bottle before and wasn't impressed then either. But it's been about 90 minutes and the scent on my wrist is absolutely heavenly! I never really gave it a chance. It is gorgeous! I just ordered Chloe Absolue de parfum and can't wait to receive it!
That’s so awesome! Also the new Miss Dior apparently smells quite different than the version I have. I haven’t smelled the new one yet
As a die hard Tom Ford fan, I guarantee you that Aerin’s Hibiscus Palm is way better in terms of performance than Soleil Blanc, soleil blanc sits closer to the skin & the scent is very similar as they both smell like expensive resort tropical hotel fragrances. I recommend Soleil Neige as its more practical for us (cold weather city girls). It smells like ice-caps on a sunny day with a fluffy lemon cake gourmand vibe.

I'm loving all your content and really enjoyed seeing your whole collection! I think we have a very similar fragrance preference, which is neat. I've recently become obsessed with fragrances and building my collection but with the pandemic I can't go out and smell all the fragrances that people rave about and that I'm interested in purchasing. I've blind bought several perfumes over the last few months and L'imperatrice was def one of the most disappointing. I agree with you completely that it smells like shampoo, lol. Literally everyone else loves that fragrance.....I thought I was the only person that didn't like it ;) Your collection is inspiring!! Do you have any tips for acquiring so many perfumes? I have a loooong list and it can get quite expensive, especially with niche fragrances 💕
Basically just to shop on discount sites like FragranceNet and not feel too bad about spending a lot lol:). I guess that’s not a great tip but to be honest I’ve probably overspent !

The original Mon Guerlain, la belle and classique essence by jpg, and d&g light blue. My favourites that will always be in my collection. I also like rihanna's reb'l fleur, I think I will buy new one as soon as I finish my current bottle.

Nice collection. This is tough for me considering that I change my taste a lot which made me get tired of my mood. There are many perfumes that I will not repurchase. But also there are some fragrances that I keep coming to even if stopped using them for awhile like manifesto by YSL. I feel sad that I finished it and wanted again in my collection.
I own Manifesto L‘ Eclat and it’s too weak. But the scent itself is so beautiful. Anyways I have too many frags, but one day I will get Manifesto for sure.
strawberryfields81 I didn’t smell this version of manifesto but the original was long lasting with good silage. It got me many compliments even from strangers ❤️

Wow, you have so many fragrances that I wonder if you will ever get to re-purchase all of the perfumes you want to repurchase. I have a lot of them - but Chanel is unfortunately too expensive for me - except if I buy Chanel just before Christmas.
Probably not - these are my thoughts for right now but they could certainly change and you're right, many of them will last me for a LONG time lol.

I love how you have displayed your beautiful collection I personally “HATE” Michael Kors Wonderlust on my skin, it smells like urine 🤢 It physically makes me want to throw up 🤮 I love fragrance from the Lancôme House especially La Vie Belle Eclat. Channel No5 is my all time favourite fragrance.
If you like JPG la belle bottle then you should try JPG classic essence de parfum
Nice collection you have. I like the longer videos like this one. Parfums de Marley Delina is now on my wish list, I've been hearing about it so much. I love Versace Crystal Noir, but the dry down kinda smells like my granny's cold cream lol. And Jimmy Choo....a confusing one for me. I've tried it a few times now and I think I hate it just as much as I love it. It's just so up and down with my skin chemistry, like flipping a coin whenever I wear it. Sometimes it smells absolutely divine and sometimes it smells like a combo of pear, feet, body odor and nachos w/cheese. It even inspired me to come up with a very special nickname for it: "Eau de Skanque" (in my mind, that would be the fancy-pants French way of saying "Skank Perfume.") It can be pretty bad sometimes but when it's good, it's soooooo good. Do you(or anyone else) have any thoughts about why this particular frag behaves so unpredictably with my chemistry? Or any suggestions to help me avoid the Skanque-ness? Thanks. Peace and blessings my sister❤️
your skin chemistry can change day to day literally - the pH, the foods you've eaten, whether you're moisturized or not moisturized, your body temperature, the temperature outside, as well as the types of lotions and laundry detergents you're using can all affect how a perfume is going to end up smelling on your skin. I find the majority of perfumes smell nicer on my clothing than they do on my skin with a few exceptions.

Mancera Roses Vanille smells similar to Guerlain Mon Guerlain. Between the two I would rebuy the Guerlain because the Mancera has a slight medicinal or green scent to it. Mancera is still a beautiful scent and in fact had I not smelled the Guerlain, then it would a keeper.
I love Candy Prada night but i returned because didn't last more than one hour.

It depends on the person. Some might find the original more appealing while others the l'eau. I prefer the original but they are both beautiful.
How do you know which fragrances to wear in each season?
Well here in Canada we have pretty defined seasons - we have very hot days, in between days and super cold snowy days. So I usually save the warmer smelling, cozier, heavier scents for the cold and the fresher lighter ones for the summer. :)

Love your videos, as we seem to have very similar taste (I’m also not on the BR 540 bandwagon as much as I’ve tried) 😉 If you’re looking for some interesting but delicious/complex night time scents, would recommend checking out samples of Lune Feline (smells like a delicious, cardamom vanilla cake), Rouge Malachite (I tried not to give into the hype of this fragrance but it is gorgeous and I’m not generally a tuberose lover, but this is creamy and coconutty to my nose), and Santal Basmati by Affinessence (creamy sandalwood with an interesting rice note!) Yes they’re pricey, but they are truly beautiful and I think you may like them. I’m cherishing my decants until the fall as they’re more colder weather scents. 😊
Those all sound great - yes I want to invest in some higher end niche fragrances but I want to sample before buying for sure.
The Simple Chic Life Yes, I had to stop doing blind buys because I was wasting so much money! Am totally happy with my sample life, as now when I run out of a sample and I miss it, that’s when I know the fragrance is full bottle worthy. 😊
I sniffed Chanel no. 5 once and got an instant headache. It was horrible, I think my next purchase will be the Guerlain insolence, I see it in so many perfume videos. I was torn between Lalique amethyst and insolence and I went with amethyst. I hope I like it.
Usually, I'm quite critical about well...quite everything and about videos also..but, what to criticise about you? Nothing. You are so so lovely. I am looking to purchase a narciso but not sure which one. Which do you think is the most young/youthful/clean musk? I am 22, and while I liked Her eau de parfum it smelled a little old/mature to me. Thanks!
Poudree and Rouge I would say would be the most sweet youthful:)
“ Fleur musc” is the most youthful out there. Poudree is nice, but some people find it mature as well. Can’t get wrong with a fleur one 😘
