Hello captain falcore love your videos dude I have posted a idea on the forums and thought you might want to have a look I copied the whole thing so you don’t have to go to the sea of thieves website to look it’s long but it’s a thing I hope rare puts in the game and it’s got to do with tall tales here it is I am really liking tall tales and I think it’s fun but I think they should be another tall tales thing and just saying the shores of gold please keep it it’s so fun to play and I think the quest should be in the game forever the next tall tales thing would be called seas of the dammed and it’s got to do with stuff with the ferryman getting annoyed at us pirates not taking our life with Responsibility and trys to take over the living world cause we all keep dying to much so him and his ghost friends start making plans you get a warning from the Order of souls telling you that the ferryman is angered and wants to take over them after what ever she says she gives you a item that can take you to the sea of the dammed without dying and you have to be on your ship but she says you have to be out at sea for that around a area of the sea of thieves when you get there it sinks the ship with you on it and then lifts back up over the water and there you are the sea of the dammed just saying you don’t want to fall of cause the souls that are in the water will drag you down Till you drown and you stay there helping them not really it just sends you back to the over world to the nearest outpost and a special Undead mermaid comes and takes you back to your ship and you have to go to different Island And outposts to get stuff from souls or ghost who can help you after a little bit the ferryman catch’s wind of you trying to stop him and you fight for a bit and you get sent back to the overworld with your ship then after doing some tall tales that you guys at rare want to make that goes with this the ferryman starts to trot to take over and you know this cause now a bunch of ghost ships appear and try to attack you at sea and at the end there’s two different things that can happen if you die during one of the battles with a ghost ship on one of the tall tales you become a ghost and have to wait until the order of souls save you and Bring you back to the living and you have to do a Bonus tall tale to get out of there with your own ghost ship on the sea of the dammed to find stuff to leave but if you don’t die you just do the normal missions just saying when you come back to the overworld you have to redo the missions you died on and make sure not to die again and at the end there’s a big battle on the overworld with the ferry man and when you have defeated him he will return to the sea of the dammed and you have to follow him or he will bring back more friends to kill you so you follow him back and fight him there as well and at the end of you win he will surrender and do his job again the rewards you get for completing this will be a sword that goes from being a perfectly good not Damaged sword and slowly goes to being a creepy looking used sword that has blood and chipped parts idk you can do what you want with the sword and sometimes you see the souls that the sword killed and its name would be called cursed of souls or something the Blunderbuss would have a ghostly effect that fades in and out the sniper would be a skull sniper and have a hollowed eye from a skull as the scope so it would be made fully out of bones from a skeleton basically and the pistol would look like it has seen some stuff and it will be a normal pistol just with blood and death written all over it and on it so it will have stuff that has got to do with what is has done in the past the clothes will be really ghost like and fade in out and can we have a skeleton clothes as well as helmets that are skull so we look like skeletons or skeleton lords or something plus that main thing you get at the end of all the quests are the thing that lets you go to the sea of the dammed since there should be thing we can do even after we are done with the Next tall tales plus you get a thing called the cursed call which is a shanty that calls the ferry of the dammed to your aid against other ships so if your fighting a gallon you call him and it will help you fight the gallon as well that’s all for now I have more ideas to make for the next tall tales or something

I love what you said when ya left the cave "This Game is so Cool!" You saying it, the Legendary Captain Falcore saying it just puts it into perspective, you have done a lot in the game and yet you still find things that boggle you and make you say the game is cool, I love that! I'm just scratching the very surface of the game... But finding a good crew is hard... I just a couple days ago beat Briggsy, I have her Cutlass to prove it, but I did it by myself... What treasure I wouldn't give to be on a proper crew... So We can become Legends upon the sea! Did you have this problem, Captain?

He's done it a time or two on insiders, I'd rather him talk about the lore of the tall tales than act like he hasn't played these tall tales.

SOT is the most beautiful game I've ever played and I'm looking forward to more tall tales.
Welp, 2 years later, after they added just a few more, we get the Pirates of the Caribbean Tall Tales... and man am I happy with them. The third one in particular is literally a reimagining of the Disney World PotC ride. It's great. I hope you're still sailing the Sea of Thieves a couple years later, see you on the ocean!

Me an my crew mate ran through the stories an finished this about two days ago all on a sloop. We loved the stories and the last one takes forever lol

I’m sick but this made me forget about how bad I felt and it lifted my spirits
I actually had a glitch where I spawned in the trap area (at 8:25), and couldn’t get out. I was only on the first tall tale, and eventually I had to restart the game (because I didn’t want it to be spoiled :-)

I feel that the devs have missed an opportunity to make the boss fight more challenging. They could've added more attacks to him like summoning gold spikes that would make the gold coins shake on the ground to indicate where the attack will happen and instead of normal skellies they could've used gold ones. Even though they missed the opportunity I still loved the tall tales and especially the ending. Though the boss fights could use more work, but meh it's not the end of the world.
I like how the pirate lord says the order of souls will give you money for this so you bring it to them they give you ten thousand and they throw that skull over their shoulder like it's any other skull
I don't know if anyone reads this but I did this Tall Tale recently so I can finally get my gold curse cosmetic. After completing all the riddles and dodging the traps I took my spyglass and looked at the big bad and his pose was that of a man who regrets something really really bad. So I am asking myself: What is he mourning about? Is he afraid of something? Does he have a spark of humanity left?
Anyone else that wanted to see how much the skull sold for?

I find it funny that I did the same thing once I killed the Gold Hoarder.
And those who land upon her shores will get confused about the lore and then to understand go watch Captain Falcore
They should have a few slots on the ship to place decorations based on items that you've turned in. That way, you could display a fake version of stuff for both strategy or aesthetic.
This was such an amazing adventure for my crew and I. But the requirements for the Gold Hoarder Curse is just dumb. Playing it 5 times is repetitive and boring. It would have been awesome if there was a secret way to get it and the game didn't tell you how, and you could take piles of gold from the gold hoarder room, slowly turning you gold. But if you take too much then your character could die. Or it could be more of a challenge to get it and be "Play all the Tall Tales without dying once"

I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think I found your Larry the other day me and my wife we're doing a merchant voyage and we went to thieves Haven and as I am collecting my black chicken I look over to the side and I see a already cage red speckled chicken first thing that came to mind was Captain falcore
Overall, how long did it take you to solo this mission? I am ready to do it, but after having done it in insiders, I don't know if I want to solo it. Waiting for other crew members to get to the point of doing it as well. And was Rathbone a difficult solo fight?
Anout an hour and 20 minutes. And skeleton difficulty scales with players. So if you're solo its pretty easy.

So, I had defeated the gold hoarder, soloing a sloop, and I was going back to my ship and there was another. Sloop, so I snuck past them in plain view and sailed away. It was really cool
His ship never made it back to morrows peak. He got krakend and raided by 2 brigs in an alliance.
