Great video...lots of detail. 😊 However, why wear gloves if your hand is not totally protected? If they would have found a way to stich a material on the thumb and index finger so that it would feel and respond like a naked finger, but was still covered and protected, then it would be a game changer. Interesting at $60. But thanks for making the review. Great to have choices. 😊
Hi RCS In my experience with this sort of thing its a ongoing design battle to balance protection and accessibility, most roders i know will usually cut out the thumb so thats not to surprising to see on esk8 gloves, but yeah the trade off is exposure to the environment. In an ideal situation youll land palm down so less chance of your fingers dragging, but thetes always a chance of getting thrown side long which has much less predictable contact points. Over all though I think its a small trade off to have tactile controll on the remote.
@@iowalks Now that is also a great idea. Maybe just a thumb controller that accelerates as you move you thumb with the same motion as when you have a remote.
Ok these look a lot better than I initially judged from pictures and not really looking at them in detail. The colorway drew me away. I like the metal rivets as slide protection and the pad inside on the lower hand area is a nice addition. I'm gonna need new gloves soon and the upcoming Xboard ones might be what I'm looking for!
They look pretty decent in person, and theres a new more roned down version in the works which will hopefully be available by the time your ready to swap yours out 🤙
Very nice gloves.. I really like these gloves, but I don't agree with the precut solution. Let me just cut them myself and choose what I want to expose to the pavement.

You would need a different throttle maybe they could make a glove that is the controller and the more you open your hand the faster you go

On terms of Hoyt puck, You need a nubbed throttle and also put that Hoyt Puck in a Puck Puck Bruce! case.
I keep meaning to order but my fun budgets been going to tiny plastic men lately, but i want to get a bruce in purple.
@@DredSk8 maybe save some money and just buy the case and swap the internals. That's what I did.
Yeah thats the plan, i already have three pucks, going to use one of my midnights as a donor.
Would you recommend this for EUC riding?
I think these would be decent but you wont have the hard wrist protection if you fall forwards, but you get some extra dexterity as the trade off.
The gloves look good and ugly at the same time. Why the brass colored nubs at the bottom?
Yeah its an interesting choice of colors, the studs are so you slide in a crash instead of drag if you land on your hands.

Thats fair and my thoughts as well, though having the thumb pre cut and seamed is nice.
Relax your hands bro. We understand English, not every sentence needs gesticulating to understand it.
Its a video about gloves enjoy the hand theater.
