3:10 That and breaking something in your wrist or hand is more likely to be felt for the rest of your life. Not crippling, but aches, muscle fatigue, cramps and degrees of reduced mobility/strength are commonly experienced after such breaks. I'll have to see if they make these in kids sizes.
Great video. Oh man that metal bridge area looks amazing! I like that they seem easy to put on. I always choose my wrist guards over my gloves to feel the wheel better, but i can barely hold the remote with the wrist guards. These look cool 🤟🤟
Cheers! You definitely feel the wheel better with fleshy fingers 😂. With my luck though I’ll lose the tips of my fingers during a high speed crash. We’ll have to ride across the bridge some time
Nice review. I have these gloves as well, but, I originally had the fingerless ones.. and sold them as soon as I fell off my board (cut up all my finger tips lol).. I created a hand strap for my remote for this glove, so I don't have to hold the remote (better control and more comfort). But at the same time, I don't use this glove as much because hillbillies don't work with touch screens i.e. your phone, so it's a bit of a hassle (for me personally).. Over all.. great protection, Great use of material for protecting against sliding, Comfort is not bad, but can be a hassle to access other things. I use 1protect gloves. I have had a major crash on these.. came out with just a bruised palm.. But, I think I would have survived a little better with these gloves.
Yes bro, touché to people who can ride full finger gloves man. I can’t, I have to go fingerless because I feel disconnect from my board with the throttle. But that’s my crazy thinking 😂😂
The whole wrist slider brace is fine, but doesn't feel right for me with a remote. Really looking forward to buying a set of Le Commander gloves from X Boards.
Have you tried the flatland gloves? They have a full finger that is compatible with phone screens. My worry with all these gloves is that they are not warm enough, thoughts?
I heard they discontinued them. Or at least they don’t sell them in the uk anymore. These gloves are warm enough for me. The leather retains the heat quite well. Can’t use on smartphones though which is very annoying
Why doesn't someone sell gloves with JUST a fingerless thumb? I'd like all fingers to be covered except my trigger finger. Guess i could cut the thumb part off and do something to prevent fraying. Anyone tried this?

I use hillbilly full finger gloves, but I put velcro on my remotes and on the plastic wrist protector. It helps hold the remote steady with no issues.
Thanks for sharing David

Hand strap is a brilliant idea

Haha! You probably have more control over the remote than I do!
Hey, how are the gloves holding up? I'm considering buying a pair?
Hey. Very well. Terrible for smartphone / touchscreen use but that’s the only negative so far

Let me know your thoughts on the Le Commander’s
@@ASeSkater It uses button-style palm sliders, reflective material, neoprene padding, goat leather, kevlar lined, built-in pockets and elastic remote leash. Overall, quite good.
@@esk8jaimes they do look (and sound) great. At $77 dollars though not having traditional wrist protection is a bit of a turn off for me

Brilliant video 🎉
Are you happy with your new hair?

i purchased them to do exactly this. 1.) Keep my wrist and fingers protected & 2.) have my right thumb free.
Tbh I am not feeling the look.
Fair enough. For me it’s function over aesthetic
Wheres the crash test smh
Want to volunteer? 😅
Works really well.. Just don't buy the fingerless ones and you'll be fine,.. trust me :D
