Great video shutter shock :). I look forward to the comparison with flatland gloves. Just based on personal opinion of how they look I’d decide btwn xboard v2 and flatland, for my hobbywing remote. Also thanks for the honest review while being an affiliate. So many affiliates just sing praises and throw in an obligatory “room for improvement” feature that they know nobody would care about. Good work!
Thanks a bunch Chad! Yeah the flatlands aren't too expensive so I'll probably pick some up soon. Do you have the same hobby wing remote? I think it works decently with the v2 gloves, only a tad hard to move your thumb but like I mentioned it might break in more. The V1's definitely have gotten looser since I started using em.
Gonna have to pass on the Brass slide sections. Brass heats up SUPER fast from sliding on pavement. But since it's only for a fall it may be ok. But still that heat will transfer to your hand if a long enough slide happens. I wonder if they will make another version with mini delrin pucks, or UHDPE.
Quite an interesting point. Brass is indeed a good heat conductor. It does help that there is a layer of kevlar between the back of the brass and your hand, but they could heat up if exposed long enough. However, probably not going to be an issue. To that end though, I have the Le Knight gloves on hand (hah) and they have a brand new plastic slide puck design, so I think you'll like seeing that review when it comes out. They improve on both previous gloves in several ways.
Yeah bro the maytech v2 is like impossible to use with them. It's my favorite remote too, I tried riding about 9 miles the other day using the v1 gloves with it and it was very hard, almost dropped the remote a few times
I know.. It is a shame. I'm hoping that the new remotes coming out will work better with these gloves. DRI, kami, and WavRx Maytech is dangerous on its own because of the intermittent signal issues

My v1s are challenging to operate my remote 😐
Totally understand! The palm can be pretty slippery sometimes. What remote you got?
@@RBEMotion maytek v2.....I sometimes will use another glove with less protection.....I may look into the puck

@@RBEMotion I'm torn because I like the gloves and remote but together....its borderline dangerous...thanks for the review
