THE GOAT does it again! Elias knows how to lock in the pattern for finding BIG fish. i know this takes time, but few other anglers have the feel for it like EV. Good work man!

That was a TANK of a rainbow. Elias is one hell of a fisherman. You know you have game when you can catch fish in as many different locations as elias fishes.

Kroc spoons have been my favorite lure for many years. I always added a swivel to it to help stop line twist on spinning reels. So many types of fish go for it. Silver for all around fishing, gold for redfish in FL. And yes, I always crush the barbs too! Miss my saltwater fishing days.

I wonder if I could get some of the Kroks here in Germany. We have quite an array of bigger flutter spoons from comapnies in country but especially lots from Scandinavia, like the Blue Fox stuff. I like to use the bigger ones for pike here, mostly. But they basically catch everything.

If those are the invasive “sea lamprey” , they are delicious eating. It’s actually a delicacy in Europe. In Portugal, they make a traditional sea lamprey stew with fresh lamprey, marinated and cooked at its own blood and served over rice . It’s amazing . Maybe a lamprey catch and cook ? 😉
