We have a friend in our campaign who does all of our recordings, would this be a good module for him to use on his instance as a player? He would just need owner permissions for all the player tokens? Also does it play well with 3D Canvas? I finished video it seems like the way to go about it would be for either the DM or the player to run a second instance with a "Cameraman" player that owns all necessary tokens, record the browser window and the DM would direct as needed. I'm assuming using 3D canvas would require manual control?
Hey sorry for the delay! Yeah, your "cameraman" could be the person setup as the common display with the DM directing as needed so long as they have ownership of all necessary tokens. That's actually what we did for most of our one-shot. In terms of 3D Canvas, it moves to different characters alright, but I have found that changing the camera angle or zoom is a little more cumbersome. That might be something that we can talk with monk about though.
Really hoping y'all are still watching this comments section! I've got a burning question about this mod as I'm trying to set up a common display for my in-person game: Is it possible to have the common display controller/viewpoint be able to access character sheets for PC's? I'd like to be able to have my screen on a TV, and my players can pass around a wireless mouse to be able to cast spells and such from the token's character sheets. Trying to figure out how to make this work! Thank you if you are reading this!
Question, I just set it up and got my whole party viewable, but the vision on it is way brighter than what I'm seeing on the GM screen (and the color is a little washed out). its kind of hard to differentiate between what is "dim" light and what is "darkness". any idea how to fix that?
Drives me crazy when someone says "It's so easy" and then its not easy. To help others--the first thing you need to do is create a second account and log into that in a separate window, then give ownership to the observer account to all other tokens.
Does it work with Levels Module with different stories or levels? I was using Streamview and it would show all levels simultaneously so when I started to use Levels a lot I had to stop streaming on Twitch.
It does work with Levels and Better Roofs. You've gotta make sure that you're using the vision settings (ie: giving your common display "player" ownership permissions) so that the right floors are displayed, but that's it. I will say that I've not extensively tested with levels, so some setups may be more awkward than others. The "party" screen setting in particular might be a little clunky to use with levels. It's definitely worth testing a bit before committing.
Love this module! Amazing! Thanks!

Q: Which is the most amazing thing showcased in this video? Bailey / Zephyr, Monk, or Foundry?
A: Yes!

Thank you very much that’s what I was looking for 🥳
Any way to manipulate the maps? Looking for in-person support and would love to use foundry on my screen and a simple map tool on the table screen.

Can't seem to find where the referenced Let's Play vid is located?
Here's the link to the one shot!

@@Baileywiki Thanks!
is there a way to increase/decrease zoom?

I haven't experienced that myself so best to ask in IronMonk's discord.

What is the name of the module that is responsible for ac, passive perception summary ui down bellow?
Monk's Token Bar
So this is basically a remix of the STREAMVIEW mod?
There are a few modules that do similar things. Some defunct. I'd be interested in other people's experiences in the comments here.
@@Baileywiki I’ve been using streamview and generally love it, but I’ll definitely give this one a try!
Great! Thanks for that suggestion
