I had been wondering how the Toa Nuva with Takanuva's colors worked. I was thinking that what you could do is have Takanuva have silver armor when you have him built with the colors of the rest of the Toa, and any time to have any other Toa with Takanuva's colors, you could just use a white mask. As for the weapon. Well, Takanuva's staff is silver, so that isn't a problem.
Loving these videos. I gotta say that pohatu and onua look amazing in white. Reminds me of the bonus feature from legends of metru nui where Lego showed off the hordika and gave nuju a white whenua hordika mask.
Haven’t watched yet, but I’m guessing this’ll be the most complete set of shiny sets yet, what with not having to worry about the weapons and hand pieces.
Also I’ve got to ask, do you genuinely own enough mata torsos to build all these guys at the same time, or do you ever raid your older color swaps for torsos?
Here are my favourite shiny toa nuva: - First, 🔵Tahu Nuva, toa of steam - Second, 🔵Lewa Nuva, toa of rain - Third, 🔵Kopaka Nuva, toa of slush - Fourth, 🔵Onua Nuva, toa of mud - Fiftth, 🔵Pohatu Nuva, toa of... wet sand I guess? In no particular order, of course.
Kopkaka is the only member of the Toa Nuva who uses the "Voodoo Arm" used on most of the Toa Mata, so it makes sense why it would be more difficult to find in certain colors. The 8x8 radar dish used for his shield actually isn't a rare part in itself, being that is has appeared in 83 sets since it first appeared in 1979 in the original light gray in several early "Space" (today referred to as "Classic Space" to distinguish from later factions) sets. In the time since then, this part has appeared most commonly in this shade and the newer shade of "Dark stone gray" overall. But many of the other colors of this part would become "one-set-wonders", including the plain Mata red one-which to date has only appeared in the Technic Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter (42145) from 2022. Hypothetically, you could also use this part in tan for the stone Kopaka Nuva, even though it has only appeared in five sets since 2000.
I know brown Lego has had some issues with breaking so maybe they were worried about brown connectors breaking easily with the stress of connecting the ball joint? Doesn't explain the rahkshi but its the only thing I can think of.
LEGO Set 70209 had those Technic socket connectors in reddish brown, albeit the third version of the mold. Alternatively, Set 31150 has the fourth, modern incarnation of the Technic socket connectors in reddish brown.
Couple questions…. One, what exactly are the Krana made of in terms of their physical models? Second, do you happen to know where I could get a flat dark gold Krana Kal Xa? I kinda want to see what Takanuva looks like with a Krana on his face, and the only color fit for a Toa of Light would be a Flat Dark Gold Krana Kal Xa….. You know, to match his armor. Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
"Man dismembers rock slug because soccer player is unwilling to lose his hands"
See you joke, but Pohatu Nuva is genuinely goated
SAND! Swim through SAND! 😵💫
maybe Brickthumb doesn't like sand, because it's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere?
Exactly :p

My only complaint is that Tahu Nuva's arms are mounted the wron way around. He's supposed to have broad biceps and narrow wrists, like Kopaka.
i think you mean triceps bud
@@frank_calvert no, I meant wrists. I got it right the first time.
The pins on Pohatu's arms needed to combine the claws into a ball were also strangely absent
@@filipahlers6156no you’re not you said big biceps and small wrists and the higher part of the arm is the tricep so no you didn’t
@@OliverDolar-o8b Just double checked, and I definitely meant wrists. Definitely picked exactly the words I meant to use.
7:43 Glad to know I'm not the only one eagerly waiting for those new masks.
Shame the Toa body part was never released in grey or Silver so you could make a version with the Protodermis masks.
People in Toa Creator as soon as we ever get a good Bionicle game:
Here are my favorites from this list for a shiny team, excellent work btw;
🔵 Tahu
⚫️ Lewa
⚪️ Pohatu
🟢 Kopaka
🔴 Onewa
🟤 Gali
Love these recolour videos!
Took long enough but thanks for the content it's rare to find bionicle content on TH-cam these days
7:43 WHEN???
Lovely video, mate!
Blue Tahu could also reference blue fire.
Correction, Kopaka has a black hand.
Oh wow, can't believe I missed that. His Mata version has a white hand though. Wonder why they changed it?
Kopaka nuva does actually use a black connector for a hand.
Never felt bad for a Rakshi until now
When I saw the thumbnail I actually jumped with joy.
Admit it your just jealous of Pohatu's thiccness

Torsos arent a problem, not enough weapons for them all though! Maybe in a year or two!
lewas nuva mask in red kinda looks like the daedric helmets from elder scrolls 3 and 4
It does look a bit like the Daedric face of terror in Morrowind.
Isn't pohatu the nicest of the toa mata?
I completely agree pohatu is one of if not the best toa mata. Its just such a shame what they did to him in his nuva form
Yes he is, in fact he's so nice that even early edgy loner Kopaka can't manage to hate him
3:39 is gurahk giggling after pohatu's crime?
what is this music you have in the background?, also awesome video as always :)
Im excited to see all of the toa mata of light
The shiny Toa nuva are here!🎉
the reason why pohatu cant have control over more elements is because artahka forgot to make his shoes in other colors
Nooooo!!! Panrahk how could you do this to him?!?!
Here are my favourite shiny toa nuva:

Fantastic!! Absolutely adore this. Which would be your definitive shiny Toa?
Yay i was waiting for this video

Hey! Why u gotta do my boy Pohatu like that! He was always my favorite, well him and kopaka.
I still love him, I just wish he was more of a team player ;)
@brickthumb I think we all do sometimes
My man pohatu was a bummer to you once why did you take it so personally!
3:26 Lewa‘s red mask kinda looks like a autumn leaf.🍁
Imagine all the oc you can make
