This is my favorite Ribbon video hands down. There is so much you are doing right with your videos. I love the drone footage, especially on technical features or where I might have options to consider. The voice over with details and tips is just right: helpful, to the point, and without too much chatter. I really like hearing the ride and not some random music. On this note, thanks for not just talking constantly. I have unsubscribed from some of these guys as they just won't stop yapping! I see a snowball effect coming in your subscriber number as you are filling a niche that has just the right kind and amount of content to be both informative and fun for riders interested in your area. Thanks for the effort!!!
Matthew Pearce! This is great feedback! It really means a lot and good feedback like this helps me get better, which is my goal. I want to be different! Dude, I 100% agree with the during video "talking". I made videos in the past where I did do too much talking and went to the video editing process and threw files in the trash because they were garbage. Nothing worse than me riding up to a highlight section and I'm blabbing about nothing important being an idiot, I can't edit that out and have to go back and reshoot. There's definitely a balance between keeping it real and semi professional. Thanks for appreciating the small details man, I see them too! And the music, I'm going to have a ride highlight reel come out next week, it will have music, but outside of highlights and special video releases, we're keeping the music out. Copyrights aren't worth dealing with at all and so many other guys out there have been successful with music-less POV, to me I watch to see and hear the ride like yourself. Again thanks for the feedback and I'll keep up my efforts and continue to get better!
Thanks Joseph! Appreciate the support! This trail better be on your ride list! Stay tuned we'll be looking at some of the other trail alternatives starting at the bottom that can make it even better in the coming month!
TBB! Thanks man! That was my goal, get some comprehensive information on the Ribbon. YOU HAVE to get your two wheeler on that thing. Its snowy and icy now, but get out there in when it thaws and pre ride it.
Yeah, this trail beats me up all the time too. I think I'm content with walking everything lol. You'll have to check out my newest Ribbon release to stoke your hype for coming back for revenge!
LOL thanks Jerry! I couldn't get any of my buddies to ride that thing even though they all have. Its pretty crazy, it hasn't rained there quite some time so the whole waterfall is covered in so much sand.
I can't clear the waterfall! I commend any who can and or will try! I know Brandon from Ruby!! You guys all look like pretty good riders!! It was a cool video, you guys where definitely having some fun!
hahaha lol Sweet! That dang waterfall fall though. We all know we can clear it, but riding it out on the bike the whole way is a different story for all of us. The group rides are too much!
Yeah Sheyn the Main, I follow this guy called The Crashing Dad. He's pretty good and knows a thing or two about video editing so I would recommend checking him out.
Thanks William Ferguson! Greatly appreciated. I'm running a Go Pro Hero 4 and an EVO SS gimbal and after I'm done editing the video, I try to upload it in the highest quality possible. I haven't made a video about my camera setup yet, but in one of my playlists I have video from my friend Matt (Huntstyle) he basically uses the same setup as me. Check it out!
@@OutdoorGold Good to know, I'm from outta town and I signed up for the Grand Enduro and I wanna come down and pre-ride the course sometime before the actual race. I won't likely have a shuttle when I do, so thanks for the heads up.
@@OutdoorGold That climb sucked! haha but the decent was awesome! I think I may have seen you and crashing dad, I got all excited when I saw a black and orange yeti next to a blue altitude I wanted some stickers haha. But it looked like you guys were finished and just collecting your vehicles from the shuttle. Maybe next time I'll catch ya. Thanks for the advice! The Ribbon is pretty gnarly.
mhmm of it was this Saturday, that was us, probably saw you going up the road. We had to get my truck and then pick up Paul the Punter on the bottom. But that climb is brutal! I know that! Good to hear you made it the Ribbon! 🤘🤘🤘
The Lunch Loops are full of it! The trail combo of Free Lunch (by Ribbon) to Pucker up, to Moto is actually called "Max Gnar!" some crazy stuff mixed in! You'd have to watch my "Epic Ride" video and you can see the highlights of all that mashed up into one!

I agree with Matthew on every point. Digging your content. Subbed!
A classic! Been there - done it - and will do it again! Thank you RC! for your videos!

Great video as always! This trail is definitely on my to-ride list when get over to Grand Junction
Thanks Joseph! Appreciate the support! This trail better be on your ride list! Stay tuned we'll be looking at some of the other trail alternatives starting at the bottom that can make it even better in the coming month!

Awesome video. Love the drone footage of the ribbon and wine glass.
Thanks a bunch MTB Action Cam!! I think I'm going to try to focus more effort on getting more aerial footage in the future.
Drone skills are sick man. For not riding the ribbon yet its the best vid ive seen for what to expect for sure.

Added this to my bucket list. Great filming & riding! p.s. my kids keep walking around saying "sup traildog" now 13:00
Haha thanks RideLabs, you are officially a friend of the channel! "sup trail dog" I couldn't miss the opportunity, I'm happy your kids like it!
I love stuff like that!
Great ride! You guys are good riders! Good stuff! I dig it!
Thanks Greg Sharp and I really appreciate the support! My buddies are great riders, me? I could use alot of improvement, but thats the fun part!
I ALMOST commented that I was bummed out that the cave didn't make the cut!..
Awesome vid dude!
haha, had to have the cave!
Dude... Rewatching... It still hold's up 🤘🏼
I feel like you've progressed so much since...(and I've just been riding on your coattails 😂)
LOL Vintage Crashing Dad on his hardtail!
Sweet ride RC! Looked like a blast!
Thanks Jacob! You'll have to join our biker gang in a future ride!
Outdoor Gold That would be crazy fun! You know where to find me!
for someone looking to do this trail, this is a great vid. Great vid, and really get a feel for the whole trail with the drone! Nice job!
Thanks a bunch Projectnortheast! The drone really helps make a trail like this look incredible!
Fantastic! I broke three ribs on that trail. It was like being there again.
Yeah, this trail beats me up all the time too. I think I'm content with walking everything lol. You'll have to check out my newest Ribbon release to stoke your hype for coming back for revenge!
Nice job you guys! Hey Brandon that dang waterfall section huh?! Merry Christmas to all! Jerry Fay

Your editing is getting so good!

Outdoor Gold - 🤦
Almost at that 5 HUNDO!
We're creepin' into 5 bills one at a time!
So that’s we’re the trolls live I’ve been looking for them for years haha
LOL considering Sheyn and I were in the cave, I guess we were once the trolls lol.
Great vid, I have to ride the ribbon!
Thanks JF Rides! Yes sir! If you get out to GJ you absolutely have to make the Ribbon a priority! Its a one of a kind ride!
Outdoor Gold yup, I rode allot of the trails in November but missed the ribbon : (
haha NOOOOO!!!!! I guess you'll have a reason to come back. Not a bad reason at all either! I'm sure you had a good time in this part anyway!
The wineglass......wow. haaha...crashing dad drop...that should be official.
LOL there are alot of "Crashing Dad Drops" out there!
Great footage and commentary. what are you using for the camera set up...the stability and quality are nice for first person shooting.

"own personal stunt man" hahaha I should make that a business card
I'm thinking we'll see you sport a shirt covered in logos before too long!
that would be cool, need to learn them back flips soon haha
What's the easiest way to bike to the top if you don't have a shuttle?
Pedal push up little park road starting at your preferred trail head. Time frames can be anywhere for 1.5 hours to 3 hours depending on fitness.

mhmm i have an email attached to the channel page for “business inquires” send me your address and I’ll ship some stickers
Waterfall is always sandy.
Great video. Aaron from MTBing Adventures turned me on to your channel. Great stuff - I sub’d!
Thanks a bunch Mountain Venture! Aaron is a great guy and I had a lot of fun riding with him last time he paid us a visit!
14:00 I wanna try it
Its not too bad, we've been riding it lately after some storms washed the sand off. You just turn in and let go of the brakes.
Again great footage of some of the knar of Knar

Outdoor Gold will do thanks Bra 4 the info
