In this round we are challenging ourselves to the triple trail conglomerate we call Maximum Gnar and it lives up to the name. More importantly Max Gnar is the 3rd Stage of my bike review course called the Outdoor Gold Enduro and in a competitive race setting, the 3rd Stage in the Grand Enduro.
Max Gnar starts with Free Lunch. A violent bike breaking terrain with lots of sketch drops is on the menu for this ride. Free Lunch has cost me more money in component repair than any other trail I've ever ridden. Hence the name, Free Lunch, because there is no such thing. Bring some spare parts and be prepared to fix a flat, because this trail wants only you finest riding and most durable parts.

Pucker Up brings in my favorite section of Max Gnar as this is mostly downhill and doesn't require any pedaling until the end. When you master the lines, this is a trail that will never get old. Speaking of those lines, there is a final sketchy line at the end called the Cathedral Drop.

Moto, wraps up Max Gnar. Unlike the previous two trails of straight chunk and jank, Moto is going to give you a chance at fast and flowy trail with just a few drops that can be bypassed. The most important bit of information I can give you not to ride this when wet. It won't last long!

There's a patch of sidewalk in Boulder that has some pretty gnarly obstacles. Mostly sketchy Boulder people...
But I think Captain Jack's freaks me out a little bit more! Haha
That rock roller drop that you hit at 6:05 is one of the more challenging lines on that trail for me. Then that sketchy rock plunge waterfall thing you and Kyle hit but I skipped is another good one.
Outdoor Emerald Guy is by far my favorite U-Toober!

Great video, I'd say your best one ever, RC! All the different camera angles really brought a lot into this one. Its also kinda crazy how Dakoda pogos off everything on the trail haha.
You were taking some pretty crazy lines off rocks here and there, so awesome. Can't believe I still haven't ridden this trail.
Thanks Stefano! Haha the same laws of gravity don’t apply to Dak Tagg 😆 the Ribbon + Max Gnar is my favorite ride in all Fruita/GJ and it’s the one I take advanced riders when they are here! I hate to plug my next ride video, but it should be interesting as well and nobody rides it (spoilers, it’s the free lunch neighbor)!

Awesome video man. I want to do this with the AZ crew (AZDirtLife (Ken), WarwithinMTB (Henry), Middle Age Masher (Jeff) and MTB 2 Sea (Chris).) We are trying to get a plain together to head up to Moab around 3rd or 4th week of September. Maybe we can swing up to the GJ area. Keep the good video coming.
