What is the name of the part he takes off at 2:33 ? I have been looking for that part for my yanaha tdm 850 for months, but cannot find it anywhere and don't know the name..
Hi, I've just got myself a TDM 850 1992 and am waiting for a manual to arrive. So I wondered if you can help me. Is it possible to put a trickle charge onto the battery, that isn't under the seat as a Hayes manual states. And do I have to take the tank off to get to charge the battery. Look forward to following your light restoration, as looks like I will be doing the same. Cheers JT
I would have loved to see you replace the dash bulb, because I have one or more out in mine as well. I'm a bit scared to take my TDM apart so instead I watch professionals do it first. But alas.
I just bought on eBay 2 Cat C bikes, both 2002 Honda CBR600F and a Suzuki SV650S............both in need of tlc, damage in both cases superficial, so following your videos, as usual. Happy to see you back....roy
I hope to, I have a Yamaha XJ600S engine completely dismantly, apart from the cylinder block which is stuck to the crankcase, so once that frees itself I plan to video the whole reassembly process, the large bearing on the Output chaft in the gearbox collapsed, so bought the whole bike on eBay for around £100, will let you know when, it's taken 4 months to dismantle to the last bolt

I wouldnt sweat too much about a loose fitting air box..The air is not measured for the engine fuel system .

YammyXJ600 you know what CalmBiker said yesterday? "What have we done?" 😆
I put everything in plastic bags, all labelled,,,,,...and replace all screws from eBay, and copper grease everything......that's my style...
Same here Ron, i either use those little baggies or small tubs, makes life a lot easier doesnt it, copper grease is also a must
