Since you went into detail about how you did not add lemon juice to your tomato sauce, according to the "USDA Complete Guide to Home Canning" on page 3-5 it says you need add acidification to tomato products whether you water bath can "or" pressure can. Under standard tomato sauce it is in bold to add acitification. Pressure canning does not changethe need to add acitification. Just thought you would want to know since people watch your canning videos.

@@suzetteblair8419 If i am wrong I apologize. Using the direction in the USDA Complete Guide to Home Canning for tomato juice or vegetable juice with onions you still have to add acitification. Stewed Tomatoes with onions require acitification. Again, if I am wrong I apologize. I will still be putting lemon juice in my canned tomato products. It is just to easy to put in a little sugar in if it is to tart. I know she said she didn't want to put sugar in it.

I love crockpots for easy dinners. I don't usually do lasagna in one, because I prefer the consistency of and depth in a pan in the oven. I DO have a casserole crockpot though which is great if I want to do a casserole especially for a party or buffet meal. Enchiladas turn out great. In a regular crockpot use any of your freezer meal meat marinades you have posted recently. My family's favorite favorite meal in the crockpot is one called Key West Ribs from Pillsbury. Been making. It for probably 20 years at least. 2 1/2
    lb country-style pork loin ribs
    1/4
    cup finely chopped onion
    1/4
    cup barbecue sauce
    1
    teaspoon grated lime peel
    2
    tablespoons lime juice
    1
    teaspoon grated orange peel
    1/4
    cup orange juice
    1/2
    teaspoon salt
In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, place pork ribs. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over ribs.
    2
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 9 hours. Spoon sauce over ribs.
Serve with rice and black beans, and a sprinkle of cilantro, and lime.

Lobelia is an excellent polleniser, loves the light, doesn't survive the winter temperatures, so it's recommended to bring her inside, clip the foliage and wait for spring

Becky, I love seeing your Mom on your videos, because she just a lovely person. I wish we could afford the green stalks, because I would love to plant some herbs and vegetables in them.
Thank you, Becky, for sharing your gardening and recipes.

Love your vlogs, Becky! Just want to mention that it's not recommended to cook on 'keep warm' with your slow cooker. You may want to look into it and let ghe viewers know what you find out. I would hate for antyone to get sick.

Becky - maybe consider doing a thorny berry (blackberry or raspberry) along your deer fence. The thorns will keep most pests out of them.

Beautiful! The lobelia was on sale because it's a cooler weather plant. It will probably languish if your temps get into the 90s. They will probably be beautiful for you for a good while. I love them, but here in my Texas zone 8 garden they won't last long. I think you're also zone 6 or 7, but probably don't get quite as hot as we do.

I love my greenstalks. But my experience has taught me to keep the drain hose leading off the concrete because when I fertilized the plants , the excess fertilizer that drained out etched our patio.

The flowers are so important for pollination. They attract bees etc big time. I might add you can eat nasturtiums. Including the flowers from memory. The leaves have a peppery taste. And the sides of that Lasagna look absolutely perfect! I'd eat all those crispy side. Way too good for the chickens.

Thanks for sharing your greenstalks with us! Just an idea that I did this past summer here is Oz...I made a kitchen garden for my balcony which is closest to my kitchen...all my herbs went into the pots. It was such a great idea that some of my friends did it too, even the ones with no garden, who just had a balcony in an apartment! All we have to do is step outside and snip off what we want. I've now planted some lettuce in a mini lightweight greenhouse out there and just snip off the leaves for a salad. My veggie patch is further away from my kitchen so this worked so well for convenience! Happy planting!

I just came in from our garden and 100 tomatoe plants fighting and water spraying off spider mites. Now plan to go and spray with Neem Oil and say a prayer this takes care of them and our Good Lord watches over our garden while we travel north. We leave tomorrow morning. Yes the view from your folks home is awesome. That is what I did for one of my grow towers is all strawberries. I have to replant some as only 50 % of my roots took. I didn't get them planted as soon as I received them so that may be on me. You now just taught this ole girl something about strawberries. I will now take runners and plant them into the wells that root did not take. I will do that as soon as we get back and then plant the other with herbs. Oh happy gardening even fighting afids and spider mites. I hope I drowned ours all out.

I wonder what it's like to have parents that have a house. This house has an amazing view and layout and is so well taken care of. Just like Becky's house. Both of the homes featured on Becky's channel are stunning! Definitely rich people goals but it's fun to dream about having land and a beautiful home to entertain! With prices how they are I think dreaming is all people can do!
I'm thinking about buying the trellis, I think it'd be easy on a small balcony along with my grow bags. If anyone bought it and has opinions I'd love to hear them.
I'm sure everyone has their ups and downs but Becky's life is absolutely amazing, I can't imagine how awesome her childhood was with two working parents and an actual backyard!
I'm excited to see more on the landscaping project!

Becky I learned when gardening that when you make the place to plant your seedlings, water it first before you plant your seedling…it helps them grow well.

Those white strawberries are pineberries, and they taste a bit like pineapple. You have to plant around 4 regular strawberry plants with each pineberry for pollination because pineberries don't self pollinate

I can understand that you overwhelm yourself.
You try to do to much at one time.
Try slowing down and enjoy each project that you do and maybe just one or two
At the same time instead of 5 or 6 🙂

Always so fun to see you and your mom doing a project together. Strawberries on the lower levels for the grandkids, what a sweet idea! As you were planting your own beanstalks and sharing about being overwhelmed with choices, and losing sight of then returning to the starting goal, I realized that I have been implementing that same approach recently. Feeling overwhelmed is so familiar, but taking a step back and regrouping, simplifying, these are new to me. And I learned it from you. 🙂 I so enjoy how you give us the whole picture, not just the familiar or successful bits. You’re not afraid to learn as you go, and that makes your videos so much more interesting. Thank you.
