- We're back with some late night Millionaire! When we last left off, Greg Pollaro made it into the hot seat and won $2000.
Be on the lookout for a Millionaire rarity in this episode! The first time it happened on the show, too! - บันเทิง

WWTBAMclassics was a great
Please reupload 2/3/2000
Why is the February 3th 2000 episode blocked?
I love this show it’s comforting in a stressful day.
Regis is such a pure soul. Watching him makes me happy instantly
Love those Belgian futons
How thick was he ffs
@@Hannah-pk6iq I mean to be fair it sounds kinda french so I can see how he would somehow think that. Granted one should probably know from movies etc that they are not.
@@Hannah-pk6iq dude shut up, there’s probably a lot of things you don’t know that other people know. Not knowing that a futon was from Japan (especially since as someone correctly pointed out, the word sounds a lot more French than Japanese) doesn’t make you thick.
@@markymark443 Dude!!! ????? what are you ten?
Thank you for posting these
Regis' fastball reference...
I love it.
For most of 2000 this was the top primetime TV show in ratings.
Regis talking to Jack's wife before a final answer is locked in was a bit too friendly of him given the whole panic about Charles Ingram's wife coughing a year later...nothing went wrong there, but I can imagine the producers/judges flinching when he did that in case she gave any hints (she didn't, I'm just talking hypothetically).
The Belgians have Brussel Sprouts, waffles, chocolates but not futons.
I like 🧇 waffles and chocolate 🍫 but not Brussel sprouts
I remember the Space Needle scene from early in "The Parallax View." A guy falls from the roof, and you hear him scream as he falls to his death. In reality, though, there's an observation deck that sticks out further than the roof edge, and one would only fall about 10 feet. Instead of "aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" you'd just hear "agh-[thud]."
Regis is a VERY snappy dresser.
Rare instance of the audience being helpful on the $64,000 question
i like Regis there's no messing about with him 😊
Regis: "Yeah, it's gross." LOL Gross response! Hahaha
This is episode #49 of Primetime Millionaire on ABC and it's aired on February 6, 2000.
"Hawaii" was not only a novel by James Michener, but it was made into a movie starring Max von Sydow and Julie Andrews, and a sequel -- "The Hawaiians" -- starring Charlton Heston.
yeah yeah sure sure :)
WWTBAMclassics do you have the episode from February 8, 2000 by any chance?
I do not. Though I've wanted to acquire that episode, and the one that follows it, for a while now
I always like at the best at 20:37.
Regis: Alright, we still have fifty fifty.
Jack: The fifty fifty, Regis, is going to be absolutely no use to me.
Regis: Yeah.
Jack: Um, so I'm just gonna have to walk away with what I got.
Regis: Stymied by sports, huh?
Jack: Sorry.
Regis: That's alright. You're a great contestant a great guy, & one hundred & twenty-five dollars is a nice paper to go. Here u go, Jack.
Thanks very much.
Jack: Thank u very much.
Regis: Good luck to u, okay?
& at 35:35.
Regis: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Bowen.
Bowen: It's okay, that's okay.
Regis: It was California, but u won thirty-two thousand dollars, okay? & here it is, big guy. Good luck to u, okay.
Bowen: Thank u so much.
Best wishes, this is Michael Meneses.
This episode aired exactly 20 years ago today.
I hate all the speedups GSN does
Speedups?
GSN sped up how fast these episodes played out during certain segments so that they could fit more commercials into the presentation.
21:11 is correct
The two I was torn between on that James Michener question were California and Texas.
It was California.
I eliminated Alaska and Hawaii since I knew those were titles of books by James Michener.
35:37 Close guess but no $64,000 for him
Plocie lawyer lookin
Questions relating to primitive age be in the programme will be little better
Welsh is a Celtic language, though the Prince's motto sounds Germanic: Ich Dien
Hunh! Caroline Kepnes is a guy? So he wrote Providence hunh? And his wife plays with a muppet. Is she Jim Henson?
It's
Meg, 16
Jo, 15
Beth, 13
Amy, 12
So, no, Jo is not the youngest. Amy is.
The host has a nice way about him. Characters like that is missing in this day and age.
How many $0 winners were there in the primetime version of Millionaire?
16
What about in the syndicated version?
@@elijahmoses5675 I heard roughly 100
Whys it so speed up...
Sometimes they'll speed up the music because they're short on time
20:51 whats the answer?
$33,000
that 50/50 could have narrowed it to $10k or $33k. No brainer it would be the latter, wouldnt it?
I bet the 50/50 would have narrowed it down to 80k and 33k.
@@ramibaghdadi1255 : lol, probably! I forget if the have to choose once they use the 50/50 or can they still walk away? If they can, no sense not using it. I guess he figured $10,000 was as reasonable as $120k?
@@rogerscottcathey Yes, he could still walk away after using the 50/50. I think he didn't want the temptation, though.
Lousy sounds
10:40 - "What small New England city is the setting and title of a popular prime time television drama?"
