What a cool trip. The Inn you stayed in was so nice. I could just sit in the room and stare at the view for days and not get tired. The room in the way back was so much more comfortable. All that dazzling line-tossing, especially at Toshima having to use the backhand for the port-side docking. Confused by your caption at 20:32, though, "you cannot disembark at any of the islands along the way". But those 5 minute turnarounds...Wow! That crew was jumping some hoops. And how do they clean that whole ship in 30 minutes before returning to Tokyo? Thanks always for your fine fine work (a fine respite from our political travails in the USA these days.) If I could, I wanted to get off the boat and stay overnight on every island to experience the individuality of each island for myself. The subtitles that said “It is not possible to get off the boat at the islands along the way” were indeed difficult to understand. What I meant was that “passengers cannot get off the boat except at the island that is their destination”. I will fix the subtitles. Have a good weekend! Arigato beaucoup! 😸

What a great trip. And yes another remote island trip. When departing from Tokyo, i prefer on every room which i can sleeping, but when departing from Kozushima, seating class looks good or maybe big room. It's great to see the ship is having a life with plenty of people onboard. This ship definitely workhorse, only few hours of rest in Tokyo and less than an hour in Kozushima, can't imagine if this ship needs to annual maintenance.
Thanks for your comment again. As you say, the way you choose your cabin will depend on whether you're traveling on the night or day trip. This ship is a real hard worker. When the ship from Tokyo to Ogasawara goes into dock, this ship sometimes takes its place. It's also great in terms of design. I want to travel on this ship again.😸
great video those sailors work so much, and the island you stayed at was the only one that off loaded and loaded so many containers wonder what the economy is like on these islands ive flown over these islands so many times its nice to see what they are like

Thank You, today i feel a deep need to travel in some serene peaceful place ..but Tokyo by night seems so sad...e big coloured stone desert...with so many people like ants all closed in a small place... I was born and raised in a big town, but I was working as it was crazy to buy my own cottage with a garden...Now I live in a suburban area near a forest and I avoid going to the center .. I prefer my small own world... I cannot understand ...Japan has some wonderful small villages where it is possible to live near nature ..in the times of the smart working isn't necessary to live in the city...but always more people leave the country to become prisoners... Why? For me Japan is so beautiful with its green landscapes and calm rhythm of country life...cordial greetings and thank You ...I love enjoying your travel experience sitting near my fireplace with dogs sleeping on the old sofa near me ..when I finish i could open the door and watch the full moon over my mulberry trees...

There are very beautiful places to discover in Japan, the landscapes and the magnificent mountains like Mount Fuji, the famous volcano of 3776 meters above sea level, there are also very beautiful hotels at very reasonable prices with spacious rooms and panoramic view, and hot springs to relax.

Ja , was mir auffällt , Japan hat ein vielfältige Inselwelt, die sehr vielschichtig und sehr anschauenswert ist. Auch dieses Mal haben Sie uns auf eine tolle Reise entführt und es hat sich gelohnt wie immer dem Video zu folgen. Mir ist aufgefallen, daß Maru ein geläufiger Name für Fähren in Japan ist. Wenn man an der Skyline von Tokyo vorbei kreuzt, ist das sehr imposant. Die großen Brücken Japans, sind schon sehr imposant und ein Blickfang. Wenn man sich die Natur Ihres Landes dann so in allem so betrachtet ist man einfach begeistert. Und die Einfahrt. in Kozushima einfach Himmlisch. Noch dazu, wenn sich die Götter heir, an diesem Traum Ort versammelten. Dazu ein Klasse Onsen mit solch Klasse Essen, was will man mehr. Ich glaube schon, das Sie sich sehr wohl gefühlt haben . It is common for the seas around these isolated islands to become rough. The sea was not particularly rough when we were filming. If the sea becomes too rough, the ship cannot dock and may pass the island by. Thank you very much! 😸

If I could, I would have liked to stay on all the islands. However, the time the ship stays at each island is between 5 and 20 minutes. This is because the ship is in service for the practical use of the islanders rather than for sightseeing. The best way would be to spend about a week and stay overnight on each island.😸

最初は船が神津島港に停泊していると思っていたけれど、実際には三浦港に停泊していて、村から少し距離があって困った。シェアしてくれてありがとう。
神津島はどちらの港に着岸するか、島に近づいてから決定することが多いようですね。あらかじめ旅館の人にお迎えをお願いしておくと、着岸した港に迎えにきてもらえるようです😸

Mir ist aufgefallen, daß Maru ein geläufiger Name für Fähren in Japan ist. Wenn man an der Skyline von Tokyo vorbei kreuzt, ist das sehr imposant. Die großen Brücken Japans, sind schon sehr imposant und ein Blickfang. Wenn man sich die Natur Ihres Landes dann so in allem
so betrachtet ist man einfach begeistert. Und die Einfahrt. in Kozushima einfach Himmlisch. Noch dazu, wenn sich die Götter heir, an diesem Traum Ort versammelten. Dieses Mal sind wir von Tokio zu den Vulkaninseln gereist. Jede Insel hat ihren eigenen Charakter. Zum Beispiel gibt es auf Shikinejima nur wenig flaches Land und keine Flüsse, sodass die Inselbewohner seit jeher darum kämpfen, an Wasser zu kommen. Aus diesem Grund haben die Inselbewohner immer darum gekämpft, an Wasser zu kommen, und es konserviert. Aus diesem Grund gelten viele Inselbewohner als fleißig und sparsam. Es gehört auch zu den Freuden des Reisens, etwas über diese Art von Geschichte zu erfahren. Ich hoffe, Sie haben ein schönes Wochenende, und wir können uns wieder auf gemeinsame Reisen freuen.😸

It is common for the seas around these isolated islands to become rough. The sea was not particularly rough when we were filming. If the sea becomes too rough, the ship cannot dock and may pass the island by. Thank you very much! 😸

If I could, I would have liked to stay on all the islands. However, the time the ship stays at each island is between 5 and 20 minutes. This is because the ship is in service for the practical use of the islanders rather than for sightseeing. The best way would be to spend about a week and stay overnight on each island.😸

この船に乗船したことがあるが、とにかくパブリックスペースが狭く、自室以外で座れる所が少ないと感じた。どれだけ船が新しくなっても、所詮は移動に特化した生活航路なのだということを実感した。売店も無い。
おがさわら丸の方が余程マシだろう。おが丸のドック期間中は代船で父島航路に入ることもあるが、この船で24時間は無理。
この船はフェリーとして中型なので、確かに公共スペースが狭いと思います。食殿メニューも値段は少し高めですね。ただ、一般的なカーフェリーが車両の運搬で利益を上げるのに対し、徒歩客と貨物の運搬だけで航路を維持しているのは立派なものだと思います。さるびあ丸、私としては大いに応援してます！😸
