I don't think fuel x is with respect to o2 sensor. It's with the intake air temperature sensor which determines the air density. More air density will make the ecu inject more fuel and less density will require less fuel. Once above idling rpm the ecu switches to open loop mode and ignores signals from o2 sensor which is anyway narrow band in most bikes. According to the explanation given by you sir fuel x will only work during idle because that's the only time ecu is running in closed loop mode and accepting signals from o2 sensor and would be useless. Just a humble clarification from my side. Fan of your videos. Cheers.
O2 sensor will be in operation throughout the running of the engine. If we go by what your saying. Then what are the variables on which the ecu will adjust the fuel quantity after idling? Only on throttle input? If that is the case these engines will not be regulation compliant especially cox.
@@shonith91 I have mentioned closed loop and open loop operation. Throttle input tells torque demand, manifold absolute pressure will tell load on the engine, air temperature will determine fuel trim. These are variables for which values are mapped in tables and stored on the rom of the ecu. During idle torque demand is zero and speed is controlled by idle speed control valve by the ecu, there is predetermined af ratio for idle and the ecu takes o2 sensor readings only to make sure it's meeting a certain lambda value. My whole point is that if the ecu where considering o2 sensor reading while riding then it ought to be a wideband sensor and not a narrow band present in all bikes except a few high end German made. The reason why they operate on openloop is because at engines speeds higher than idle the reading from narrow band o2 sensors are not reliable.
@@shonith91 the reason why bikes don't use wideband sensors to dynamically adjust af ratio is because ithe ecu needs more computing power which significantly increases cost. Manufacturers test the engine under a multitude of conditions and come up with a map which will never allow a engine to operate under conditions where it would pollute more, the values in the map would be that docile that it would run the engine in a range of af ratio predetmined by the Manufacturer. In my opinion it's not only the o2 sensor but also the air pressure and temperature sensor that fuel x is plugged into (usually air temperature and pressure are read by a single sensor unit).
@@mohanprasad998if we go by what your saying what corrective action will ecu take if during idling the af ratio is not as per the pre determined value? Is it worth making these mods and also performance air filters in bikes like tvs Ronin?
Is it increase the fuel economy better than the stock ECU.
No it doesn't
Can we get quickshifter and traction control installed in bikes that don't have ecu.
Bikes like dominar and adv x with the help of powertronics
I think it's possible. Need to check online for such accessories.
Hello sir please reply i have doubt that both fuel x pro and power tronic is good for himalayan 411 and after adding them what are the mandatary parts we need to change ?
Good or not I don't know. It is fun though. Also change air-filter and if possible, the exhaust.
@@bigbearbangalore yes changed sir red rooster and BMC air filter
Sir first should I install air filter and ride for 500 km and install exhaust or can we directly install both and ride ? One of the rider told me to first install air filter ride for 500 km and put exhaust so I want your suggestions for this sir
You can change both together.
Helloooo Sir,
Would you go for a proper ECU remap or go the Powertronics way?
Powertronics
@@bigbearbangalore thank you Sir
Thank you Sir. Rationale pls?
My experience: I did use the Dieseltronic on my Jetta, and it didnt do much really even in the P2 mode, which the Stage 1 ECU remap did by miles.
Hi, I have a 2024 interceptor 650. I have just changed the exhaust and am now running red rooster with BMC filter.
Please guide if I should go ahead with with fuel x pro (or lite) + powertronics for better performance
Your choice. You may add them to improve performance.
Hi , I have a project with my duke 390 , I am buying an adn high flow cap filter ,a k&n high flow filter, I have a full system non catalytic exhaust "akrapovic"(Chinese)😂 and a gray area ktm injector . The question is a Fuel X lite configures all that well? Or do I have to buy a powertronic ECU? I really don't look for final speed, but the as optimal performance and if that gives me more horses is a plus ,but I look for smoothness and responsiveness ,with good performance , I love it but like it lacks something else 💪.
Since you’ve already modded it much you can check on Powertronics.
@@bigbearbangalore Thank you always, all your video are very good and educational, already told me that the fuel X works but do not install the injector, everything else if. And if I want the injector than install a powertronic or rapid bike evo and take it to dyno. I just wanted to improve its efficiency but not invest so much money. I appreciate your guidance
Is it logical to connect powertronic to Honda highness cb350? Does it affect the engine ?
You can connect. Not immediately effect. May be little more accelerated wear of engine.
👍👍👍
👍
Hi sir, what do you recommend and value for money.fuel X or powertronics? I need to install on my Yezdi adventure and I am looking to improve throttle response and first gear drag power increase majorly.

@@bigbearbangalorethank you sir!
Sir if the powertronic is installed to the duke 390 should I get the aftermarket exhaust also for it?
Will be better if you do. Not mandatory though.

You can ride, no problems.

FuelX
@bigbearbangalore only fule x no Powertronic ecu?
@mikhialwylde4375 FuelX does a great job.
@ Thank you so much, the next challenge I'm facing is getting a air filter, I know they have the BMC but what is an alternate option, more cost effective.
@mikhialwylde4375 there are less expensive options I think but I haven’t tried them.
Hi sir …I have an interceptor 650 I am willing to install powertronics and fuelx as per your video … will I have to change the exhaust or air filter to get the best performance? … if so can you suggest me a good exhaust that’s not too loud i don’t want to create any ruckus … with the stock exhaust itself is it possible to get the performance out … please reply…
For full benefit of the electronic devices, an unrestricted exhaust and a performance filter helps deliver full potential. Stock exhaust deliveres a little less than full.
@@bigbearbangaloreThanks for your reply, Please suggest me a reasonable choice So which exhaust can be used for the best performance. please note i don t want a loud one

Hi....could you please suggest performance and driveability upgrade for classic 350 UCE engine??
There isn't much that can be done for the UCE.
Can you tune the Powertronic ECU on Hunter 350 to get more pops and bangs?
Don't know about getting that from the PT.
Is it safe to change ecu for the engine?
I am thinking of putting this to my 2016 ninja 650 what changes can I expect after installing this
Improved throttle response.
@@bigbearbangalore Ok 👍
It is compulsory to get a ecu remap or tune if you change a full system exhaust on your bike
Not necessary to remap.
What a lucid explanation
1. Will FuelX improve low-end torque of Duke 250?
2. I'm getting an average of 30-32 KMPL in my Duke 250, will it reduce if I install FuelX?
Throttle response will improve. Mileage may drop by a couple.
Sir i have fuel x lite and i want to install power tronic is that good for Adventure 390 please suggest
You can.
@@bigbearbangalore thanks sir
Is there any downsides of using powertronic? Does it affect the engine life?
Doesn't if ridden sensibly

We do not stock them. We get them against confirmed requirement.
Sir, powertronic ecu is for all bikes like pulsar n250?
Check with racedynamics.com
As i am curious and want to know whether you can really crack and flash and remap the stock ecu without re authorization because some say its impossible in my city
Should be possible and I know not anyone.
if powertronic piggyback ECU can do everything that fuelx does and more then whats the reason to use them both for maximum performance?
FuelX adds more conplex data and info to the piggy back.

Wont using both ecu and fuel x clash with each other? Also how is fuel xpro better than lite?

How's the hunter 350 in the city , I heard people complaining about the heating issue. Since I will be riding in city and traffic , should I go with it
Most come to the Hunter from sub 150cc motorcycles so the normal heat from a 350cc feels like there is overheating. That is not the case and just needs accepting and getting used to.

How is Fuelx abke to offer performance and efficiency both? As in, wouldn't the manufacturer have given it if it were possible? If your answer is emissions, then does that mean BS4 vehicles won't benefit from this?
Look at it as added processing power which costs more and adds more complexity to the electronics.

Don't think it's available for that model.
Powertronic ecu can be fitted in glamour bike 2010 medel
Not available for that model.
Does both of them avoid warrenty
Yes they can.
or just hear me out, get the powertronics piggy ECU, then just go to dyno tuning to map the ride settings (fuel rich for performance and less MPG or optimal settings). Even if you buy Fuel X Pro, you would mostly use one setting (usually its either 9 or 10, which is fuel rich high performance) instead of other 9 presets. So genuinely make no sense to have both piggy ECU and proX. Also remember you will void warranty if you fiddle with OEM's ECU. Also, plan all your mods before you check with ECU or Dyno, such exhaust and airfilters.
Does the powertronic ecu auto adapt like the fuelx lite (ad esemple if you are at the sea or in mountains adapt the fuel ignition) ?
There is constant adaptation to changing conditions.
Will royal Enfield not service if i install this
They will service. Warranty may be void.
Can i use both together in xpulse 200 4v pro??
Yes
Will the Royal Enfield Authorized service stations approve this set up? will they not void the warranty?
Warranty void.
Hi
I have a Honda GB350 Australia. Or a Hyness in India.
I feel by the sounds that I am getting pre ignition when pulling hard on 2nd or 3rd on very very steep hills over 3,500 rpm. Also in 4th on relatively flat roads when accelerating hard over 4,000 rpm before moving into 5th.
I read somewhere that some ECU’s only use the O2 sensor up to 3/4 throttle. After that they use mapping only.
Do you know if this is the case with the CB350.
If this is the case. Any suggestions. Would either of these unit’s rectify
