Cracking display of sheep indeed! All the best team! We have been struggling with the weather over here! Trees down and what not. Such as great community on here!

The ewes you bought are beautiful! Well done. ❤
Your ewe lambs did well too. Your ram did better than a lot of them 👍👍😊.
Cheers to you and Sophie 😊❤️

Excellent video Will! Good to see you in the sale arena. Glad you had some good prices, but a bit of a shame that the rams weren't sold. Nice award winner you picked up as well. Enjoyed the video. Thanks!

Your ewe lamb's sold well, they seem to be making good money at present! If you don't sell your 2 rams privately, will you keep them on & try n sell them at a later date, i.e. in the new year?

He absolutely smashed it! Met him at Tullamore show when I judged them. Trace looked amazing of the females over there. Unfortunately we can’t really sell over there due to 60 day quarantine

You did well with your ewe lambs. It seems to be the same with all the sales this year. Select few making great money and the rest of stock not making a decent price. I think its people are lambing less ewes cos majority of farmers are getting older and the younger farmers have to work off farm to make a living and wont be lambing ewes.

I think your £500 tup knew he’d been sold!
The price of £350 sounds very cheap for a tup. I know you spend £3k on your premium tup.
Cammy from the Sheep Game has recently commented he hates buying tups, and recently did buy his most expensive one to date for £1050.
I’m guessing much depends on the grade and breed of the tup.
Are the ewe lambs you sold 18 months old?

Ewe lambs are 8 months old when sold 👍 that’s it very much depends on what people are willing to pay on the day

Your twin ram was quite spunky. "I want IN the ring." Gets in, looks around. "Nope, I want OUT and if you don't open that gate NOW, hooman, I'll get myself out." Will, is it desirable for a ram to be a twin? Does it increase the odds of multiples?
Enjoyed the different presenting styles of the breeders - waving scarecrow, saber fencing, physically shoving.

Twins are optimal. The sire won't determine the number of offspring, but he WILL contribute to the number of offspring from his ewe lambs.

People prefer breeding from multiples as it’s more likely to bred the same
