Just for clarification the lady that Charlie is romantically involved with was Harry's wife (the guy who had a heart attack and died in the 2nd movie). Billy (the one in the wheelchair) is friends with her so he was just trying to protect her at the wedding when Charlie was flirting.

The baby is actually SOOOO much better than what she was originally going to be. It was a freaking mechanical doll that was soooo scary.

@@lanakat In the books the baby is supposed to me more aware than a normal baby and is borderline uncanny valley in looks, that plus the rapid aging makes it difficult to do all that with just a regular baby

The slap Jasper (Texas) recieved by the Volturi vampire (Demetri) was because they hate each other, in the books Edward wanted to kill Demetri because its like a feud between them, Demetri is the best tracker in existence, mostly many vampires hate him because he could easily find them and kill them if Aro says so, there is no place you could hide from him.
Aside of Bella - in books he would be her first target to reach, so Renesmee and Jacob could escape.

The book didn't have a battle at the end, but I really like how she did it. Bella basically turned super saiyan with her shield, she went from barely being able to protect one person, to being able to easily extend it to protect literally every single person with her-Which made the Vultori too afraid to attack, as their ultimate weapons were rendered completely useless by Bella

12:10 Basically this is Marcus, he had wifed Aro's sister and wanted to leave the Volturi. So Aro killed his own sister and put Marcus under the control of a vampire lady, who has addictive power of happiness. For over a thousands of years. Remember how Edward has been wanting to die after Bella supposedly died? Imagine that but being imprisoned and manipulated to stay alive for millenia. Death is the only thing Marcus seeks.
12:30 In books it actually didn't happen. Also most of Volturis also were just spectating people, who wouldn't join the fight. I really liked that movie added that bit as it gave the story that final fight oomph.
omg I either didn't catch at all in my several reads of the entire series about Marcus, or I just don't remember it bc this is fascinating to me, explains a LOT about his character. And also yes, I'd love to see their reaction finding out that the fight didn't even HAPPEN in the books, all that build up and it amounted to nothing lol. Although my little 14yo heart was happy that no one dies/was in danger, a bit older now I'm like... wow, there could've been a bit more thrill there! 😂

I feel sorry for Marcus 😕 there definetly should have been another last movie and Marcus should get what he wants and we should get to see how they try and live a life around a half vampire half human girl as well as the actual fight happening properly later that ends the vulturi
No, the happiness vampire WAS the sister. Chelsea can manipulate bonds between people and relationships and stuff making him stay with the group and not unalive himself. She isn't a happiness vampire. He is actually extremely miserable with them. But can't leave because of Chelseas manipulations.
@@AnxietyRat I was technically talking about Corin, who was mostly used for wifes, Chelsea, but also Marcus to keep him much more sane, than he should be. Obviously Marcus did refuse it at the end, that's why he was so miserable as we have see him, but most Volturi uses her powers from time to time.

the last book is super anticlimactic since the volturi just leave at the end and there’s absolutely no fight scene so at least in breaking dawn part two they gave us a final fight scene. it was better than showing nothing at all
yes but the conversation they have in the books is very interesting, and meyer is still planning to finish the saga with 2 more books, so she will probably leave this confrontation for the end

There wasn't a fight scene in the final book, but they wanted to have an epic fight scene in the movie to make fans happy. Stephanie Meyer wanted to keep the characters alive just in case she wanted to write more books about them in the future. A vision was the only way they could have the fight scene and keep all the characters alive.
Imagine if you had a baby and your friend was acting that way around it saying he loved her and should I call you dad...

To be fair the lore isn’t even interesting enough to pay attention too. And Bella is so OP even as a newborn. So why the fuck would they remember her thirst. Bella doesn’t even remember it half the time. In a matter of a week she has vampiredom completely mastered.

They actually did film with real babies but they CGed their faces. They took Mackenzie’s face and age tracked it so they could try to make it look more like the same child at different ages. Good idea in theory but the outcome ain’t it.

Okay i watched this at the cinema and honestly? I was not the only one freaking out there when the battle started. I HONESTLY thought they went this direction really! Like NOOOOOO there was alot of criers in the audience lol.

If you think the cgi baby is bad... look up the original doll they were going to use.
They CGI the baby because the original baby was a mechanical baby. They named it Chuckesmee because it was so scary looking. There is a clip of it on TH-cam. Its disturbing.
I didn’t know anything about the books so the entire series I was watching waiting for sh!t to finally go down so I was SO disappointed when I found out the battle didn’t happen. I still rewatch it every now and then tho.
I only just now realized Vladimir is fricken Stuckey from SVU
They did have actual kids in all the scenes. But they wanted to have the kid actually look like the same person all the way through. So Mackenzie Foy acted every scene basically from the snow scene on in an up close 360 thing and they took those shots and baby pictures of her and used cgi to put her face on the face of the kids actually in the scene.

The whole thing of Marcus being basically suicidal is being Aro killed Marcus' mate/wife/whatever you wanna call it. Vampires in this franchise get like SUPER depressed about that shit. Because Marcus was't smart enough to figure out Aro killed her he just got super damn depressed and Aro had one of the vampires with power over emotions basically make Marcus too bored to kill himself. It's kinda hilarious.

As for a suggestion maybe you guys could watch "From Paris with love" if your thinking another action movie. Or assuming you haven't watched the matrix trilogy yet you guys could start that adventure seeing as their coming out with a Fourth matrix movie this December. And I I honesty love the matrix trilogy especially since the first movie was considered revolutionary at the time for you its combat sequences. This movie catapulted Keanu Reeves career/stardom. You guys guess so badly on the timing in movies. They were together for like two years before they got married.
A good movie for a comparison would be Mean Girl and The Favourite. The two are a bit different in terms of humour but they’re just as vicious as each other.
The woman Charlie is with is Sue Clearwater she was Harry’s wife (the guy that died in New Moon while hunting with Charlie) and she’s Seth and Leahs mom (the 2 wolves in jacobs pack)
This movie came out 7 years before Endgame.
I think they needed the baby to be created, simply because how could they possible get a bunch of kids to look like one girl for a short time. Also there is still the addiction theme even at this stage of the movie. The automatic bond with the kid that he could not control and the fact that Belle did not even really show much concern over how her baby was and her farther. At first, still addicted to Edward.

You should try Host next - to finish off the saga of Stephanie Meyer's smut stories for strange teens getting adapted into movies. It's about aliens and like in the case of Twilight - idea for sci-fi is great, but the romance makes it mediocre.

In the books, they just walk away and give up after a long conversation. We didn’t actually see any kind of fight at all. So this was technically better than nothing.
I try to not get caught up on bad/off CGI anymore. What I try to do is weigh the pros & cons because what it comes down to is 'would I prefer &/or would it be better if they just didn't have/do/include 'x'? Or is it better that they did?'. Sometimes the technology just isn't quite there yet but the alternate option(s) of not doing it or doing it differently (ie. practically) would be way worse. I've seen the picture of the animatronic that they were using originally and that thing was a million times worse, like borderline horrifying. Another good example of off/not-so-great CGI being [spoiler-free] when the major character reveal happened at the end of the season 2 finale episode of 'The Mandalorian'. If they had just not done it because they knew people would complain that would've been a travesty for the show (for the record - I never complained but agreed it was slightly off in some instances). Granted there was another option (using a certain MCU actor that most fans are fully on board with) but after hearing the explanations as to why they went CGI for this movie, I fully agree with their choice to do so for the baby/kid. I thought I had heard somewhere before that they had combined Bella & Edward to make the look of the baby (kind of like the what would our baby look like thing where you put in 2 pictures and it makes a (really bad) prediction...but I don't remember where. I don't know that I believe it but if you're going to do a CGI face anyway it would've been a good idea.
