I immediately knew when I watched your Evil Dead reaction, that I would fall in love with this channel. Everytime I rate something as "fucking awesome" I hear your words inside my head. I just loved that reaction video, you completely spoke my heart in that one......
Her scream at 20:36 is so visceral, some people thought it was too much or funny, but that’s how a real scream sounds. I feel like movies make women’s screams too pretty, this is more realistic. I think you were thinking of a banshee lol
Her scream was amazing. I actually felt how much she needed that and how much emotion she put into it. Honestly one of my favorite scenes in the movie.
Someone said that they would've survived if the granny didn't cheat. They were still alive when morning came until granny decided to still kill her which was against the rules, the time limit already passed but she still went for it. I guess the "devil" actually cared whether they played the game right or not.
But why would Le Bail let them live at all? The whole deal was that either the family kills the groom/bride by morning or they die. And the purpose of this deal, at least I think, was that with each occurrence of a new addition to the family pulling the hide and seek card that when they are killed Le Bail gets another soul. So at the end of Ready or Not what do we have? Grace has managed to survive past daylight and so Le Bail has not gotten the usual soul. And so as compensation and punishment he decides to take all of their souls since they won't be giving any more sacrifices. I just really don't think that a demon like Le Bail would be cool with not getting his payment. And that's why I think that the Le Domas' were screwed no matter what as soon as morning came. He just wanted to fuck with them a bit. When the song started playing was the best part for me as now they were the ones being hunted though it wasn't a very long hunt.
Aunt Helen suffered from these traditions the most (having to watch her own husband die a slow and painful death herself) but she's the one who was the most willing to let it continue. That kind of "if I suffered then, you have to suffer now too" mentality is such a boomer thing and it's so sad to see it happen in both the movie and in real life

When I first went into law enforcement when I came out in my uniform my brother in law started to call me "special agent weener" instead, making fun of me for my job. And everytime I entered a room after my first promotion that is what my family would call me. It was actually really stupid because I never wanted to go into the FBI or CIA or anything but eventually I did end up getting contracted with homeland so it ended up becoming somewhat a reality. Great reaction! I love this film. Fun fact they built 24 different wedding dresses for Samara Weaving, in various states of distress to keep the continuity. I also think the gore was toned down cause this is at its heart a dark comedy. And I presume a lot of the budget went to building the world all the set decorations, the costumes, and the cast.
I really enjoyed watching this at the theatre. The only problem for me is that ghost at the end, I prefer if they're not showing it instead. Over all it's good.
Alex is a fake "good" husband. Like yeah he was trying to saver her in the beginning and people compliment him for that, but had he truly loved his wife, he would have never put her in this situation. He would have been honest and let her choose to go through the wedding or not. Part of truly loving someone is letting them go if that's their choice, so Alex has always been selfish and refused to let her go even if death is a potential outcome.
I think this movie could’ve been even better if they didn’t have that flashback in the beginning. That way you go in 100% blind not know this is gonna happen; unless you saw there trailer haha

This was a bit bigger constraint, this only cost 6 million You shouodmsee the new Scream, that's the most brutal of the franchise and done by the same directors
I fucking love this movie and I'm glad you're watching it. Do wish more people died until the ending (because she definitely had the chance to kill the butler (and him catching up to her on foot while she's driving also makes little sense), like most horror characters do), but I can overlook little errors like that because the rest is so great.
