Wigan Pier (Friday Night 1992)

Once considered as the main place to go for dance music in the UK; Wigan Casino was the crown jewel of the Northern Soul movement. Years later Wigan Pier injected an resurgence of life back into this long forgotten industrial town's music scene.
The Pier was held on a Friday night in the early 90s and became the main haunt of ravers from all over the UK. It went through a few different names but their Dreaming a Dream night with residents DJs Malc and Mike E Block were the best. They had regular P.As from all the best acts of the day (see the flyer for details).
This isn't a mix tape from any particular night, it is a tribute mix to times long past.
So many good memories from this place and so many good times.............
