Great Britain and the Commonwealth and her Allied nations ie the USA are the representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ and his everlasting eternal Kingdom on this earth. We are in essence the 'Israel of God' and 'Zion' upon this earth, the dwelling place and Spiritual Presence of God and his Truth and of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore in the endtimes just before THE RETURN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST we will come under incredible attack from SATAN AND HIS FORCES (using ISLAM, and the VATICAN JESUIT LED NEW WORLD ORDER ). This is the TIME OF SATANS LOOSING FOR A SHORT SEASON just prior to the RESURRECTION AND DAY OF JUDGEMENT AND THE LORD JESUS CHRISTS RETURN AND THE BEGINNING OF GODS ETERNAL NEW KINGDOM WHERE ONLY THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SHALL DWELL AND ALL EVIL WILL BE DESTROYED FOREVER (Rev 20:10-15, Rev 21 an 22). EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS JESUS CHRIST IS LORD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER. THIS WILL SURELY COME TO PASS. Read Revelation 20, 21 and 22. Rev 20 decribes the 'binding of Satan a 1000 years which is symbolic of Christ destroying the works and power of Satan (which is sin and death) by dying on the cross and rising again victorious over sin and death forever. The 1000 years represents the last 2000 years of Christianity filling the earth and ruling and reigning over it. The Gk word can mean thousand or thousands and is symbolic as is all of Revelations. Rev 20:7-9 speaks of our current situation where at the end of Christianity's dominance upon the earth we will find ourselves surrounded by our enemies. BUT HAVE FAITH AND KEEP STANDING FOR GOD WILL DESTROY OUR ENEMIES BY FIRE AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WITH THE BREATH OF HIS COMING (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, 2 Peter 3:3-18)

My experience of the quality of teachers at secondary school in the 1970s was mixed, I had nothing to do with education until I was in my 40s and my daughter started school and dear me was it different. Then I became a school governor and lost the will to live. To add insult to injury they spoke to me as a stay at home mum like I was an imbecile, not once did they ask what qualifications I had or what career I had prior to becoming a mum. The young ones especially are so sodding full of their own importance and most couldn't have passed 1970s A levels. RANT OVER!

Traditional British Values - What We Stand For (When We’re at Our Best)
Fair Play - From the football pitch to the courtroom, the idea that everyone deserves a fair go is deeply ingrained in British culture. It’s why we’ve been at the forefront of justice and human rights. We believe in playing by the rules and giving everyone their due. Sure, we have our off days, but at our best, Britain is about fairness in all walks of life.
Respect for the Individual - Whether you’re the Queen or the person next door, the belief that everyone deserves respect is a cornerstone of British values. It’s why we hold the door open for each other, say “cheers” a lot, and try to live by the “live and let live” mantra. We’ve long been known for being polite (even if we’re quietly grumbling under our breath).
Stiff Upper Lip (Resilience) - Now, this one gets a bit of stick sometimes, but let’s not knock it. The ability to keep calm and carry on has seen us through the Blitz, economic challenges, and even the occasional queue at the post office. Resilience is what helps us weather tough times, without making a fuss (or at least pretending we’re not).
Innovation and Ingenuity - Britain’s a small island, but we’ve always found big ideas. From the Industrial Revolution to the World Wide Web, we’ve got a knack for thinking outside the box. It’s in our DNA to challenge the norm and push boundaries, proving that clever thinking can change the world.
Community and Togetherness - Whether it’s cheering on a local sports team or rallying around for a good cause, community spirit is a value we hold dear. We’ve always been at our best when we work together, supporting neighbours, strangers, and the country as a whole. There’s that deep-rooted belief that we’re in this together, even when times are tough.
Tolerance and Open-Mindedness - Britain’s long history of being a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and traditions has shaped our identity. We take pride in being a nation that (for the most part) welcomes differences and champions tolerance. It’s part of the reason why multiculturalism is something we often celebrate-diversity makes us stronger.
Defender of Democracy - From the Magna Carta to Parliament, Britain’s been one of the world’s champions of democracy. The idea that power should be balanced and accountable is one we exported across the globe, and we’ve long been a voice for freedom and fairness on the world stage.
Love of Humour and Wit - Let’s face it, we love a bit of banter. Whether it’s a cheeky quip or some self-deprecating humour, we use wit to bring people together and lighten even the darkest of days. There’s a reason why British comedy is known worldwide - it’s how we cope, connect, and keep perspective.
These values reflect who we are at our best-where we come from, and what we can still be. Sure, we’ve faced some rough patches, but when we tap into these traditions, we show the world what makes Britain a place worth taking pride in. Let’s remind ourselves and each other that, with a bit of effort, we can always bring our best back to the forefront.

That's how they learn the good and the bad, which helps them to make informed and balanced decisions throughout their adult lives. Not everything in the world is perfect, but that's life. If kids don't learn how to deal with these things and how to solve problems, etc, is it any wonder that when they're faced with a problem, they have a complete meltdown? Yeah, abolished it after having been the worst slave traders for 2 centuries.
It's like Lucy Letby being proud she stopped ki**ing infants because she got caught.

When I saw the British and Canadians enter Belson and the woman held the soldiers hand who had rescued her, I felt very proud to be British

I wonder if schoolchildren in Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries are being taught about the slave trade that went on in those countries. And instead of this constant denigration of the past, why don't these myopic academics, government institutions and media outlets do something about the 40 million people in modern slavery NOW. No, it's much easier to constantly criticise dead people.

Unfortunately many Brits are leaving the country and Labour now welcomes illegal immigrants instead.

The problem lies at the heart of this once great country. This two party system has now run its course. These two ancient parties have outlived their usefullness. The 'history' they represented is no more. The one that was supposed to be a sort of 'gatekeeper'of the nation list touch with reality .The other Labour just desperate for a last slice of the cake will do nothing over its allotted 5 years other than to feather its own nest and perform in Westminster with lots of soundbites but do nothing to improve things for the average man in the street..It will make lots of noises about immigration but achieve nothing.Britain is now close to being declared a 'failed state'.
