What a glorious job you have done here. I remember my first edition of fantasy, looking through the rule book at the pictures and just marvelling over the chaos warriors. The classic models were so good for the time. I love these new GW models, some of their recent work (particularly their AoS ranges) are the best in the world.... but there is a certain nostalgic charm about the old stuff that has never been replicated.
I liked the Chaos Warrior model from last version Simple and full of momentum When in large numbers, it shows a majestic military appearance And it’s easier to color
Very nice tutorial. Fingers crossed that The Old World rules will allow for either allies or mercenaries so that you can have some additional variety in an army which lets people collect a much smaller group of minis to break up painting etc. Some of these guys would be handy in one of the “evil” armies
Cheers William. The plan is to cover all factions at least once, probably way more than that in the end of people keeping watching and enjoying them, but Dark Elves will undoubtedly get their turn.
Thank you. It’s actually on a 30mm that I printed myself, based on rumours of what the increased sizes will be. He’s a one of model though, so doesn’t matter if not.
I dont now whay they are wating for to say the new base size. People want to prepare the armys as soon as possible. It looks better on 30mm. Thank you very much. Cheers
Heinrich Clauber managed to hide his devotion to Khorne for many years, until one Geheimnisnacht a serving maid saw his stigmata, thus revealing his chaos taint. Clauber was forced to flee his family home and estate, never to be seen in Riekland again. Maybe one day he will return for revenge, skulls, and blood for the blood god. 😆
Most excellent sir. I praise your skill.
Thank you 😊
New to Old world. And this was an amazing tutorial. He looks awesome! Well done!!
Thank you very much 🙂
I’ve been working on a whole army, there will be a video on that in the next month or so.
Great painting scheme! Now I know how I will paint my chaos warriors for AOS
Thank you 🙂
Gonna need to go back and try some of that glazing technique with my dwarf capes. Hadn't even thought of that. Perfect as always
Thank you 😊
well finally - a god and easy to do black Armor. I was happy to see, how good this one turned out. Thanks.
Thank you 😊
Perfect timing ! I have loads of old warriors to paint
Hope you find it helpful 🙂
Very nicely done Stuart!!
Thank you Andrew 🙂
Top notch tutorial! Ever inspiring sir. Bravo!
Thank you Oliver 😊

I agree, got so much love for both the new ranges and the old classic stuff, both have their own place.
Cheers Stu!
🙂
Incredible as always bud!
Cheers Matt, hope you’re keeping well.
Very cool tutorial!
Thank you 🙂
I follow through...every time 😊
😆
That evil sunz scarlet spot is screaming for help.
It will shortly be put out of its misery, it’s nearly empty 😂.
Looks cool.
Thank you

Yep they’re still pretty nice, they will be the ones they re-release for the Old World as well.

Yes that would be cool, but even if they don’t it won’t stop anyone doing it for narrative games.
planing to play warrios of chaos, very great tutorial
Thank you 🙂
Love this. I went for a pale armour on mine but these look great in black. Any chance of Dark Elves ? 🐍

Please continue i to a series adapting AoS models for old world.
I’ve got a couple more planned where I’m using AOS miniatures in the Old World, the first one of those this weekend.
Can I ask what tufts are these and what colour is the thick mud? I love the bases
Thank you. I use Vallejo Dark Earth as a base texture, then the Thick Mud is ‘European Mud’. The tufts are all 2mm from Warpaint Figures in the UK.
@@MiniatureRealms can I ask which tuft from Warpaint Figures please?
@DanielP-y6v I honest can’t remember I’m afraid, mine are all mixed up now. But they do ‘four seasons’.
Nice work. This is 25mm bases?

Hopefully it won’t be too long before they release that information, I’m guessing we won’t get it months in advance of the release date though.
@@MiniatureRealmsThe sooner the better considering getting 32mm square plastic bases is almost impossible right now.
That might be part of it, they don’t want to give third party manufacturers too much of a head start.
Riekland? Lol

😆
Only to be cut down on his return by a zelous priest of the heldenhammer ;)
