Finished this one today. I struggled a bit - felt I rushed it and I was tired. I still learnt a lot about layers and practiced my light touch with the brush! Not always successful. On to the next one! Thanks, Cinnamon and John xo
This Peacock Feather is so gorgeous with all these colors. Great exercise to get the hang of building up layers. It will be fun to see if I can come close to your boss color mixes! I'm so happy you added this Peacock Feather to the course! It's an Epic The Art Sherpa creation! Five paintings totally different paintings with 3 Primary Colors! You so Rock at planning lessons AND teaching!!
Beautiful, very van gogh, colours don't just draw the eye but bathes the mind....I love watch you paint, I always watch your veds, then give it a go a painting it myself🙂 thank you❣

I redid it and it turned out much better. It is all about the drying. That was the only problem! These are fun, I finished three paintings this weekend! Thank you
Just wanted to say thank you for continuing Bob Ross's dream of making painting available to everyone! I often wonder how things would've turned out for him if he only thrived during the youtube age? He could've done everything himself instead of dealing with showbiz greed. I just watched the Netfix show. It was so tragic & sad! Some of the stuff mentioned was none of my business but the way he was treated & they couldn't even let the man die in peace was absolutely heartbreaking! He worked hard to secure a future for his son & it was literally taken from him! Legally taken maybe, but still very dirty! Greed causes suffering. Suffering for the person responsible as well as others. They will be paying for their actions. One way or another. You just know that ppl driven by greed & selfishness aren't truly happy ppl. Bob would be so proud of your channel if he could see it! It would warm his heart. I remember looking at Bob Ross stuff & my husband actually stopped me from buying it. At the time he had no idea what was going on exactly but he did know the profits didn't go where they should be going.
I love watching your videos. I was thinking you were doing pour painting but what you do are so many things I like to add to my pour for eye candy. So glad I found you.
I am so glad that you did this series. I have never really painted before in my life but started doing paint by numbers when covid started. I found the art sherpa when I was looking for information on blending acrylics. So far I am learning a lot and enjoying myself, and to my amazement, my paintings are actually decent. She is easy to follow and does a great job telling you everything you need to know including basic stuff. What do you suggest I should do to learn more after completion of this series?
As a player and DM for 43 years of course you can win D&D. You win every time you enjoy yourself with your friends. You win every time you accomplish a goal. And to me, you win every time you defeat evil!
Wow, I struggled with this. My own fault, I needed to slow down and dry it like you said. I was in the wrong state of mind when I started. But the second day I was able to get on track.
I like this one, but it was the most difficult so far. I obviously need a better fan brush. I could not get the strokes in the paint and the feather doesn't look at all like a feather..... oh well.
Thanks Cinnamon and John. Loved this but had real trouble mixing the aqua. Practice, practice, practice lol.
You got this! 💓

You are correct in that it may be the brush you have. It should be good and stiff, like my fan brush or a good hog bristle 💟
@@TheArtSherpa that's going in my Amazon cart tomorrow !
Hi CINNAMON, WHEN YOU PAINT WITH THE FAN BRUSH DO YOU DIP JUST PART OF THE BRISTLES INTO THE WATER OR DO YOU DIP ALL THE WAY TO THE FERRULE?? TIA
Great question I dip just the edges
Half way point of the course. Was not originally planning on doing them all but....
Thank you!
Oh my goodness . So much catching up to do
Just paint enjoy keep your own pace!! No rush the brush
